  • Brutal fragrance… super vintage but zero ‘old lady’ vibes. It smells straight-up elegant and exclusive, made for people with character and good vibes. It’s not for a 25-year-old with reggaeton in their ears; it’s above silly trends. I love it.

  • Champs Elysees by Guerlain, the house that for me is the queen of perfumery. One of my favorite jewels, just like Samsara or Shalimar. A gorgeous perfume with exquisite sweetness; on my skin, the mimosa, wood, and almond dominate, finishing with a dry-down of hibiscus and vanilla. It captivates from the first sniff, it doesn’t smell like anything common but grabs attention. It’s like being in a spring garden with flowers and bees, elegant and transports you straight to Paris. I discovered it by surprise when a coworker was wearing it, and it was a unique, relaxing yet energetic sensation. It’s indefinable, timeless, and one of the best I’ve ever loved. The sillage and longevity are brutal: about 8 hours strong and another 2 hours clinging to the skin. I always recommend it; it’s another Guerlain masterpiece.

  • Champs Elysees by Guerlain, without a doubt, this house is a master of perfumery and this fragrance is one of my jewels. Alongside Samsara, Shalimar Souffle, La Petite Robe Noire Intense, Aqua Allegoria Ylang & Vanilla, and many others I haven’t discovered yet in their wonderful universe. It’s simply too beautiful; its notes exude exquisite sweetness, and on my skin, the mimosa, the almond’s woody nuances, and a sublime dry-down of hibiscus and vanilla stand out. It captivates from the first sniff because it’s special and exclusive—nothing mass-produced, but rather incredibly attention-grabbing. It’s like being in a honey-scented garden with bees resting, full of spring, elegance, and it literally transports you to Paris, my favorite city, imagining myself walking down the street that shares its name. I discovered it all at once when a coworker was wearing it and the scent reached my nose: a unique, relaxing, comforting sensation filled with energy from wanting it on my skin. It’s indefinible, like smelling a jar of honey with flowers floating in it. Although it sounds vintage, it’s timeless and current, one of the best I’ve ever loved and will always be on my list. Its sillage, projection, and longevity are wow: about 8 hours strong and another 2 hours clinging to the skin. I’ll always recommend it; it’s another Guerlain masterpiece.

Unique, one of the best scents I’ve ever smelled. It makes you unforgettable; no one else smells quite like you. It doesn’t resemble Ananda or the new version at all. Too bad for Guerlain with their reformulations.

  • LosPerfumesDeJavi

The perfect spring perfume. Extremely floral and fruity. Sometimes it reminds me of Chanel’s Cristalle EDP, likely due to the peach and melon notes. It’s very 90s, featuring Guerlain’s elegance without being as opulent as the 80s offerings. Great sillage and good longevity. (Vintage bottle impression)

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting this based on the notes! I thought it would be a boring, powdery floral, but I was intrigued. Like most Guerlain vintage pieces, it didn’t disappoint. This is more than a common fruity floral. It opens with powdery, natural flowers like mimosa, lilac, and violet, with a slightly anise-like touch that gives it character. That spicy note makes all the difference. In the dry down, you get well-blended ripe fruits: juicy, effervescent peach and melon. The base features Guerlain’s signature powdery vanilla, creamy and woody notes of almond and sandalwood. Very elegant and mature; not for little girls, but a feminine, energetic, vintage fragrance in the true Guerlain style.

Champs Elysees EDP: immense class and elegance. Opulent and bubbly, like a white sparkling wine with hints of fruit and flowers. The opening is powerful with freshly cut flowers. At first, I detect mimosa and lilac, fresh and citrusy, followed by juicy melon and peony that bring freshness and originality. It doesn’t resemble anything else; a unique and overwhelming composition. Completely timeless; you won’t go unnoticed with this sparkling champagne. It’s a must-have for my collection; although created decades ago, it feels contemporary. One of the most beautiful scents I’ve ever smelled, a true Guerlain masterpiece. A lavish display of quality.

Champs Elysees EDP has immense class and elegance. It’s opulent and bubbly, reminding me of a white sparkling wine with hints of fruit and flowers. It opens with a powerful burst of freshly cut flowers. At first, I detect mimosa and lilac, giving it a fresh, citrusy touch, followed by juicy melon and peony that lend it a fresh, natural, and original air. It doesn’t resemble anything I’ve tried; it’s unique and overwhelming. Completely timeless; you won’t go unnoticed with this fresh floral champagne. It can’t be missing from my collection; although it’s from decades ago, it’s totally contemporary. I must confess it’s one of the most beautiful perfumes I’ve ever smelled, a Guerlain masterpiece, an abundance of quality.

  • Talking about Champs Elysees is talking about class and poise. It’s not for everyone; it’s a yellow floral for young girls who know their perfumes and value quality. It’s timeless, ageless. Very Guerlain, with those natural aromas that feel like you just cut the flower and are wearing it. I recommend it; you can gift it, but you must smell it first. It smells of abundant nature, freshly cut flowers, which speaks to its quality. It’s pricey, but worth it.

It’s timeless, ageless. Very Guerlain, with natural aromas, as if you just cut the flower and wore it. I recommend it, though you should smell it before gifting it. • One of my mom’s favorites, the EDP version. Champs Elysees with its slogan… ‘Life is more beautiful when you write it yourself.’ It’s a bubbly, elegant floral with a mimosa note that I love and recognize in YSL’s Paris d’été, Kenzo’s Parfum d’été, and Givenchy’s Amarige. A fragrance with history and memory. There’s one created by Jacques Guerlain in 1906 and this one by Jean Paul in 1996; I don’t know if they resemble each other, but if they do, I’d love it. I adore vintage; it feels like a timeless essence. It’s a must-have. It’s the scent of my mom and every delicate, sensitive woman. Both the vintage and modern versions have differences, but the DNA remains. I wish they would sell all their presentations and flankers again. It’s not a common scent on our streets, so I recommend it if you want to feel a bit eclectic.

  • Smells great; I love it. Powdery floral sensation with wood, perceived as sweet and vanilla. I want to own it again. It made me feel special, with an aroma you don’t find anywhere; it’s not very popular in my city. It has good longevity and sillage, seeming like an ageless perfume. I imagine it defining a sensitive, tender, romantic, and elegantly timeless woman.

  • CYNTHIA1980

A fresh, challenging, yet elegant blend with a strong presence. You receive many compliments wearing it; it’s for those who don’t want to go unnoticed and wish to be admired.

Champs Elysees is an innocent, simple floral, like a refined hand lotion that smells expensive. Every time I try it, I’m left wondering what it would be like without melon, a specialist note at ruining any perfume with its sickening freshness. Here, it’s not as obvious as in other youthful florals, but I know it’s there, camouflaged, flaunting its withered, overripe fleshy fruitiness. My relationship with melon is impossible; I hate it to death. That prevents me from enjoying it fully, and on the other hand, it’s irrelevant in Guerlain’s history. Assuming that, it’s a white, homey composition, pretty and pleasant, but ultimately it feels insidious to me, smelling of dirty mouth due to the mix of melon, hibiscus, almond blossom, and peony, all flaccid notes with a raw, greasy aftertaste.

I’m sorry I didn’t like the mimosa note; it just didn’t work for me. It’s very long-lasting and has good sillage, but unfortunately, it’s not my taste. I gave it to my mom, and she finished it quickly because she actually liked it. I suppose the perfume is of excellent quality, but I just didn’t connect with it.

  • I wore this fifteen years ago, and all that remains is a memory of honey; a fine, elegant scent.

  • Mariel Lule

Elegant and long-lasting, without being vulgar or loud. It’s a Guerlain jewel. Not exactly like Amarige, but it features blackcurrants, flowers, fruits, vanilla, and sandalwood. Perfect for everyday wear.
