Perfect for autumn, velvety and warm without being overwhelming; the name alone hints that this is Guerlain’s ‘Instant’—it wraps around you and caresses your senses. Very pleasant.

L’Instant pour femme (2003) with its signature Guerlain touch. A lovely dusted iris note with honeyed and vanilla hints; it pairs beautifully with Chanel’s Allure pour femme. Very harmonious and sensual.

Warm, apple, honey, cinnamon, and sunshine. It lasts a long time and makes you feel great for having bought it. I have the vintage version; the bottle is gorgeous and super heavy. It’s like a pearl-colored angora sweater, very Guerlain: delicate and singular.

Inside that bottle, you’d find the 100% extract of Canel’s purple gumdrops. Oh my goodness, it’s too floral for me, though I enjoy it more when my mom wears it. It’s a pleasant scent, just not for me.

One of my all-time favorites, and I’m already running low on the bottle. For me, it’s an excellent perfume: floral, slightly sweet, and super elegant. I should mention that I don’t detect any single isolated note; instead, I just feel a creamy, slightly sweet floral bouquet. I have the version from the old bottle, and it lasts over 8 hours with a moderate sillage. I love this fragrance and will try to get a backup of the old bottle because I think it’s amazing.

I wanted it, and he hates me! Like a lonely little girl in love with a guy who won’t even look at me. I smelled it in the bottle and liked it more, so I decided to try it on my skin, and, oh tragedy, nothing even remotely like its scent appeared. I felt betrayed, loving alone. ‘Blessed be those whose love is returned.’

Extremely elegant and refined… I couldn’t like this perfume more. I just started wearing it today, and I don’t know how it will perform on my skin yet. But I adore its rich scent.

It’s pure talcum powder of the finest perfumery craftsmanship, which obviously had to be from Guerlain. It’s elegance and class with supreme distinction, packaged in an exquisite bottle with simple, refined lines, and right there it holds a narcotic elixir that’s a delicious sensual bomb. That touch of honey, jasmine, mandarin, and ylang-ylang is a beautiful work of art that once worn weaves magic and charm into a bewitching halo. Guerlain knows how to imprint unique beauty on each of its divine creations; I love it, I adore it, and I treat it like gold.

This is the perfume of a woman who distills sweetness, tenderness, and fragility that evokes a dream. L’Instant is a dream of powdery flowers floating in the air. The queens of this composition are magnolia, ylang-ylang, and iris filled with vanilla, with hints of benzoin and amber, all these notes united by the subtle sweetness of honey. A perfume full of wonderful facets, and I love them all.

I tested it on blotting paper and it seemed a bit dry and too serious for me; however, my sister bought it on sale and ended up gifting it to me, and oh please, on my skin it’s delicious. I’m so glad my sister didn’t like it. The opening is citrusy but an elegant one, not a loud citrus blast but soft, immediately transforming into a very elegant, honeyed floral. Finally, the sweetness of the honey lingers until its dry-down, which can last perfectly until the next day; I applied it to my neck yesterday, went to sleep, and when I returned from work tonight, my pillow smelled of delicious, sweetened flowers. I’d say it has a vintage personality, in the sense of a scent that evokes wonderful times when glamour was in the air, women wore gloves, and dressed formally to go to the movies. I consider it for afternoon and evening, for family, professional, and romantic events.

I tried L’instant EDP over a year ago and fell in love at first sniff. It’s soft, has low projection but is very long-lasting, feminine, and delicate. I detect more honey than vanilla. It’s powdery, warm, and comforting, thanks to the amber, musk, and flowers; I don’t notice the fruits. It’s ideal for cold climates and romantic dates. I imagine sensitive and kind women would wear it. To me, it seems like a masterpiece, fine and unique, although some of my friends didn’t like it as much. Without a doubt, it’s in my top tier.

I haven’t worn it much, only a few times, but it’s ultra-feminine, soft, elegant, and classy. Its aroma is floral, highlighting the iris for its cleanliness and talcum-like sensation, while the honey adds a natural sweetness. It has a soft trail but lasts all year round, although maybe not in summer due to the honeyed sweetness. It’s a safe bet but overly pleasant.

I quit smoking and today I tried this marvel; my skin pH was altered, and now it suits me better. It’s powdery, elegant, clean, and sweet, with great longevity and projection. I want it in my collection.

It was my first Guerlain fragrance. I thought about trying Samsara or Shalimar for the tradition, but they felt too overwhelming due to the incense and sandalwood. I’ll go slowly. After saving for a month, I didn’t want to leave my hands empty, so I bought L’instant, which I liked at first. The opening is fruity, with bergamot and an edible red apple that stands out on my skin. The predominant smell is floral: a fresh, spring-like magnolia sweetened by honey and amber. It’s lightly powdery; on my skin, it feels soapy, spicy, and oily due to the musk, ylang-ylang, and benzoin. I would have liked to appreciate the vanilla and honey more, but I feel them delicately, with the florals taking the lead. For me, it’s clean and fresh, ideal for formal and professional settings. Elegant and very feminine. It has good projection and longevity. The bottle is classic with a rosy liquid and violet glass. The problem is that the magnolias and lilies remind me of the cemetery and my parents; it brings sadness and absence, not positive energy for work or romance, and it lowers my libido. La Petite Robe Noire Couture made up for it, which I loved. For Guerlain, L’instant is a unique moment where time stands still. As Octavio Paz would say, it’s a window into eternity, a place where I hope to reunite with my family in heaven.

A wonderful perfume that smells like an illusion. It’s sophisticated and unique: I feel a caramelized magnolia in honey, bathing in a citrus and floral syrup, balanced by an astringent vanilla. It has enormous longevity and projection; it’s recognizable among a million. It’s the moment before a memory that heals our soul; it’s the first beat of falling in love, the path to the first kiss, a night imagining that moment when you’ll be there tomorrow. L’Instant is the prelude to happiness; there is no more beautiful moment.
