  • My grandmother’s perfume, who is no longer with us. When I spray it on, it’s her all over again. 🥹🥰💕

  • It’s my grandmother’s perfume, the one who is no longer with us. When I spray it, I feel like she’s back. 🥹🥰💕

  • Lilacs. Tonnes of lilacs, like opening the drawer of an old dresser with vintage floral soaps that once perfumed the sheets—do you remember them? It’s tender, delicate, innocent, and instantly evokes happiness and childhood. A delight. Ideal for spring, autumn, and daytime wear; too innocent for night. Lasts about four hours, with little sillage, intimate—perfect for you or someone close to your neck. Floral and exceptional.

  • Lilacs take the lead. You open the dresser drawer and smell those old flower-shaped soaps that scented the sheets, remember them? It’s tender, delicate, innocent, and instantly brings the happiness of childhood back. A perfect delight for spring, autumn, or in-between days; ideal for daytime wear; too innocent for night. Lasts about four hours, with not much sillage; it’s intimate, for you or for someone who gets very close to your neck. Floral and exceptional.

  • It doesn’t quite convince me, but I like having it and spraying it occasionally. It must be the mimosa, an old scent that brings me joy and evokes cleanliness. You’ll laugh, but I usually spray it on where I keep my stockings and underwear, and the wardrobe smells wonderfully good. The next day, I notice a soft, powdery floral scent, and when I get dressed, I apply other perfumes I use (Samsara, L’Instant, Fifth Avenue Style…), and the result is a very successful layering.

  • I remember my first encounter back in 2000; this week I finally got a sample of the eau de toilette from the late 90s. It’s a fragrance with a very interesting and quite unusual composition. Distinct, different, ”quirky” was the first thing that came to my mind back in the early 2000s. It has a central note of mimosa, accompanied by fine touches of violets, lilacs, anise, and bitter almonds. It’s excellently structured, with each note feeling distinct and clear. There’s also a soft touch of peach, with a hint of spiced vanilla in the base. Champs Elysées isn’t for everyone, nor is it a typical fruity floral; nowadays it can feel heavy to some noses, but for me, it’s calming, as long as you don’t overuse it. A rich and Parisian creation by Guerlain.

I bought it in winter, but I love it in spring: a pampered, powdery mimosa, spring lilacs, melon, and iris, seasoned with a pinch of noble, barely perceptible vanilla, inviting you to believe spring has already arrived. On my skin, the longevity is moderate and the sillage is medium; it doesn’t bother anyone around you but allows you to enjoy it. A charming perfume of excellent taste.

I bought it in winter, but I love it more in spring: a pampered, powdered mimosa, spring lilacs, melon, and iris, with a tiny touch of barely perceptible sweet vanilla. It makes you believe spring has already arrived. On my skin, it lasts moderately with a medium sillage that doesn’t bother but lets you enjoy it. A charming fragrance of excellent taste.

  • Good morning, here’s my take: it’s not one of my favorites; there are others I like much more. My mother uses it with nostalgia since she wore it when she was younger, and after many years, I bought it for her as a Christmas gift (2017). I got the 50ml size, which cost me 40€ at the Primor perfumery (the Eau de Toilette). She loves it; me… well, not so much. It’s a floral, medium-strength scent, modern-vintage… I don’t know, it’s very Guerlain, I think everyone who has written reviews here has heard that, so… In my opinion, I’d recommend other perfumes I like much more. It smells good; I give it a 7. Longevity on skin: 4-5-6 hours. Longevity on clothes/hair: maybe 6 hours? Sillage: medium. Final note for what it offers: 6.5. Note for the name: 10+. Overall perfume rating: 7.5.

  • I thought I’d love it since I enjoy floral perfumes, but definitely not the case. It smells like plastic or too artificial. I could even compare it to Vanderbilt, another perfume I hate.

  • I just discovered this wonder. It wraps me in joy with a delicious scent reminiscent of Andalusian courtyards full of flowers. Two sprays are enough, as more can be too strong. It’s very long-lasting.

Guerlain, Guerlain, you had to be you. I’ve been using Initial Samsara for a couple of years, a wonderful sensual perfume… but this is a load of happiness, love, all the good things in life in a bottle… you have to touch it! Use it… I love you.

I own the reformulated version; it’s very sweet but not cloying like many current perfumes. On my skin, the opening is dominated by a very natural almond scent, not like cough syrup, accompanied by melon and just a tiny touch of anise. In the heart notes, the almond remains present for a few minutes in a more intense and sugary way, and the bouquet of flowers gradually opens up, where I feel the rose and mimosa predominate, always slightly sugared. In the base notes, I don’t perceive the sandalwood, only light vanilla, not gourmand, and almond. The sillage is soft and has good longevity, between 8 and 10 hours. Correct for daytime wear, and I wouldn’t limit it to spring-summer. With heat, it’s more floral, and with a bit of cold, it feels sweeter. I find it balanced and refined, but it’s not a head-turner; useful for situations where you don’t know what to wear and need to smell good but remain somewhat unnoticed, or in jobs where you’re in contact with many people of diverse professions and styles; since it’s not intrusive, it gives it versatility. Suitable for a wide age range.

A bottle full of joy and rebellion. It’s feminine yet turbulent, an effervescent and sweet delight that screams spring: flowers, forest, and gardens. It’s a floral explosion, but not of exotics; rather, an elegant and luxurious bouquet like those found in sumptuous gardens of the past. That’s why the name fits: Champs-Élysées.

  • It’s spectacular, sweet, and feminine, with great longevity—very typical of Guerlain. I thought they had discontinued it, but it’s still alive. It’ll be my next purchase.

For Mother’s Day, my mom tried it and it’s a Guerlain masterpiece. Soft, neither cloying nor overpowering, ideal for spring and summer since it’s not too dense. It evokes natural herbs and wildflowers with hints of a summer garden, all wrapped in a moderate, exquisite sweetness that shows good taste without seeking attention. A true work of art by Guerlain’s noses (father and son). Perfect for elegant ladies and young women with a bucolic, romantic soul.

  • Ana Sofia

The best fragrance I’ve owned so far for daytime wear. It’s perfect: sweet without being cloying, elegant, and everyone asks what I’m wearing. It’s simply synonymous with good taste… exquisite.

  • A typical fragrance that gives you a headache and is overwhelming with flowers to the point of saturation. It reminds me of older ladies, heavily made up, wrapped in a fur coat. It’s not fresh or soft at all; it’s an explosion that leaves you breathless.

  • It’s the kind of fragrance that gives you a headache and overwhelms you with flowers until you’re sick of them. It reminds me of older ladies, heavily made up and wrapped in mink. No freshness or softness; it’s an explosion that leaves you breathless.

  • Extremely sweet, with mimosa and almond standing out. Better suited for spring and summer. I was more drawn to it before, but now it tires me a bit. Even though I use it, I want to finish the bottle. I think it’s more for young girls, though anyone can wear it if they enjoy it.
