Descripción

Alien Goddess Intense by Mugler is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2022, this composition was created by Marie Salamagne and Nathalie Lorson. The top notes unfold a vibrant duo of coconut and bergamot; the heart reveals the elegance of jasmine and jasmine tea; while the base notes land in a warm and enveloping blend of vanilla, benzoin, and cashmere wood.

  • ‘Alien Goddess Intense’ by Mugler 2022 is an amber floral with a noticeable opening of vanilla-jasmine. Longevity is good for the first few hours, then it fades to skin-level until around 8 hours, but the sillage drops to light in under an hour. On my skin, it doesn’t feel as “intense” as the name suggests. 🤨 I see it more as a summer scent, though it could work in spring or fall; in winter, it would fall short. It’s for casual daytime occasions, not annoying with its projection. I like the smell—it’s different from the EDP—but it lacks the Mugler DNA and the promised intensity. I wish it projected like Angel Nova. It seems to be the turn commercial brands are taking.

I like ‘Alien Goddess’, but I won’t buy it because it doesn’t last on my skin. I was excited about its launch and the comparisons to my ‘Alien Essence Absolue’, but those illusions faded fast. It opens with a potent coconut, strong jasmine, and a captivating tea. As it dries down, the jasmine and dark vanilla blend with cashmere and benzoin, becoming warm and sensual. It’s a more amber, creamy, and nocturnal version—less beachy than the original. While it reminds me a bit of the Absolue, the coconut sets it apart; side by side, this one feels weak and simple. It’s pleasant and sensual, but it evaporates in two hours with moderate sillage. What a shame, another Mugler that leaves me dry.

  • I had high expectations for this flanker. The benzoin, coconut, and jasmine tea, plus the buzz about its similarity to the Essence Absolue, had me hyped. I tested it this morning at Aromas sin perfume de casa, spraying about seven times. The scent is pleasant and most people like it, but it breaks with Mugler’s old-school style to target a wider audience. The problem is it strays from that promise of risky, unique launches that made us buy with confidence. I was going to buy it, but I won’t. What I’d ask Mugler to do is relaunch the Essence Absolue; people want it, and that way we avoid the disappointment of looking for something similar and not finding it. Better to enjoy each for what it is. The longevity didn’t convince me, but it was sweltering hot (35°), so judging it on a single day under those conditions isn’t fair.

  • I tried this at Druni and it caught me off guard—what a hit! Even though I’m not usually a floral person, here the vanilla-jasmine and coconut are taking over the show. For my skin, which usually demands heavy hitters, this is perfect for summer, though it feels sexier at night. The trail and longevity are decent for the first three hours; it’s not a bomb, but it delivers. My sister fell in love with it, so I had to add it to my collection. ❤️

  • A few weeks ago I did a head-to-head with the Alien Goddess 2021. Opening is loaded with benzoin and vanilla, little coconut in the background. When it dries, the main note is jasmine, not the indolic one from the original, but soft and sweet, blending well with the benzoin. The dry-down is pleasant woody and avoindylated coconut, arriving 2 hours later. Strong projection at the start, dropping to moderate. I wore it for 8 hours, only close to the skin. Feminine, nothing new, but sexy, suitable for any season and occasion, although I advise against it in enclosed spaces and hot climates because it can be dizzying. Compared to the Goddess EdT, it’s very similar but more woody and floral. It lacks the cheap creamy point of the OG, probably due to excess cashmere. I find it prettier than the EdT; it reminds me of Guerlain Terracotta, but this Alien is more playful. Pleasant: 7/10, Interesting: 3/10, Versatile: 8/10, Original: 2/10.

  • A few weeks ago, I did a head-to-head comparison of this new version with the 2021 Alien Goddess. The opening is loaded with benzoin and vanilla, with a hint of coconut in the background. As it dries down, the jasmine takes the lead, but it’s softer and sweeter than the original’s indolic note, blending great with the benzoin. The dry-down is a woody, vanilla coconut that kicks in about two hours later. Projection is strong at first, then drops to moderate. I can smell it until 8 hours, but only up close. It’s feminine, nothing groundbreaking but very sexy, usable year-round, though I’d advise against it in closed, hot spaces because it can be dizzying. Compared to the Goddess EdT, it’s very similar but more woody and floral. I find it prettier than the EdT and it reminds me of Guerlain’s Terracotta, though the latter is more sophisticated and this Alien is more playful. Pleasant: 7/10, Interesting: 3/10, Versatile: 8/10, Original: 2/10.

  • Wonderful perfume, since I tried it it went straight to the top of my wishlist. Ultra avoindylated intense jasmine, like the original Alien. To my nose, the vanilla caramelizes at the end; even though it has coconut, I don’t notice any coconut or tropical memory, something that did happen with the original Goddess that I didn’t like. I haven’t smelled the Essence Absolue, but to me this seems like a flanker of the original Alien, with that gorgeous caramelized vanilla that deserves to be in any collection, unlike the other Goddess. Good longevity but not crazy, sillage drops from high to moderate quickly. With so much heat and humidity, I don’t think it’s their moment, although this scent works well in any season at night. It will shine more in autumn and winter, and I hope to update.

  • This is a wonderful perfume that went straight to my wishlist the moment I tried it. It’s an ultra-vanilla-intense jasmine, like the original Alien, and to my nose, the vanilla “caramelizes,” standing out a lot despite the coconut. I don’t detect any coconut or tropical notes like I did with the original Alien Goddess, which I didn’t like. I haven’t heard the Essence Absolue, but this seems like a flanker of the original Alien with a beautiful caramelized vanilla that’s worth it, unlike the other Alien Goddess. Longevity is good but not crazy, and the sillage drops from high to moderate quickly. With so much heat and humidity, I don’t think it’s its moment, though the scent works well in any season if worn at night. It will shine more in fall and winter, and I hope to update soon.

  • It smelled like pineapple, haha, it doesn’t have that note, but that’s the only thing I noticed when I sprayed it. After 20 minutes, it smelled like a pineapple colada with jasmine, slightly gourmand? By 3 hours, it was a sweet pineapple colada with vanilla wrapped in jasmine. It’s an ‘Okay’ straight up, but I think many will love it. Scent 7.5/10.

I was disappointed; I shouldn’t expect anything from Mugler’s latest perfumes. It hadn’t reached my country yet, so I went on a trip to the US and decided to look for it. It was sold out, and at the only place they had it, there was no tester. Since everyone on YouTube loved it (saying it was the original Alien mixed with coconut and even mentioning it resembled the Essence Absolue), I bought it without testing. No big deal: it doesn’t smell bad, but it’s zero innovation. It’s a scent I’ve heard a thousand times, reminding me of The Only One Intense and Olympea Solar. A sweet coconut scent with a floral background of bergamot or jasmine. Acceptable longevity and moderate sillage. Pretty but common.

I’m so angry I was guided by reviews here and didn’t buy my exquisite traditional Alien Goddess… It smells too much of benzoin and jasmine, like an older woman’s perfume, type Chanel 5. I hate spending so much and changing. The traditional one has that fresh, creamy, beachy vibe, youthful and not cloying. This Intense is loaded with white flowers and benzoin, very matronly.

I was disappointed; I shouldn’t expect much from Mugler’s latest perfumes. It hasn’t reached my country yet, so I went to the US and looked for it. Completely sold out, no testers, and since people on YouTube loved it (saying it was the original mixed with coconut and similar to Essence Absolue), I bought it without trying. Anyway, it doesn’t smell bad, but it’s zero innovative. An aroma I’ve heard a thousand times; it reminded me of The Only One Intense and Olympea Solar. Sweet coconut scent with a floral orange blossom or jasmine base. Acceptable longevity, moderate sillage. Pretty but common.

  • It makes no sense to call it ‘Intense’ if it lasts less than the regular one. I love the traditional Goddess, and this smells totally different. Test before buying; for me, it was a disappointment.

  • I don’t get the hate. Without being new under the sun, this gives the first Alien Goddess a thousand turns. The original is a white floral, jasmine over tiaré, with the typical coconut-vanilla combo, but synthetic, overly sweet, and weak. Here you have dense, creamy jasmine, a woody and amber base. More body, sexier, better performance. The original is for summer; this Intense is for nights and autumn/spring. I won’t buy it because I already have something similar (The Only One Intense), but if I had to choose, I’d take it blind.

  • You don’t really get the coconut. If you’re expecting it to smell more like the beach than the previous one, forget it. It smells like pure sweet jasmine; it’s the Intense version of the purple Alien. Do I like it? Yes, but it’s not what I expected.

This is my favorite coconut perfume so far. It takes me back to happy summer moments. I never thought I’d return to Mugler after hating the mass-produced Alien and Angel, but this golden bottle won me over. The moment I got close, I knew I was lost. It has me hooked: incredible, soft coconut, like coconut caresses. Then jasmine and tea, a delicate and soothing combination. My favorite note is a warm vanilla, not gourmand but delicious. It doesn’t smell like sunscreen; if there were one, I’d use it as body milk. Lasts 7-8 hours with good projection for 4 hours. A jewel.

This is my favorite coconut fragrance to date. It transports me to happy summer moments. I never thought I’d return to Mugler after Angel and the mass-produced Alien, but one day I spotted this golden, flashy bottle. Just getting close and smelling it, I knew I was in trouble. It has me hooked: it starts with an incredible, soft coconut, like caresses of coconut. Then the jasmine and tea arrive, a delicate and soothing combination. Next comes my favorite, a warm vanilla—nothing gourmand, but delicious. It doesn’t smell like sunscreen to me; if there were a sunscreen that smelled like this, I’d buy it to use as body milk 😅. Longevity on skin is 7/8 hours, good projection for 4 hours. A jewel.

  • It depends on personal taste. I know it won’t work for everyone, but I absolutely love it. I’m obsessed with that avoindylated jasmine; the coconut is subtle but definitely there. Lasts 7-8 hours and the dry-down is gorgeous. I’ve received so many compliments. The simple Alien Goddess smells like sunscreen, but it’s still pretty. Layered with the Intense, wow. It’s not a blind buy, it’s about taste, but if you’re a fan of the original Alien, you’ll love this.

  • Just finished my 30ml bottle. I liked it quite a bit; very pleasant vanilla scent, with a softened base compared to its sibling ‘Alien EDP’ but with more jasmine and more vanilla—that’s how I’d define it. Personally, I don’t perceive the coconut note strongly, but I’ve enjoyed wearing it daily. For now, I won’t be buying it again because I already have plenty of perfumes in this style, but I don’t rule it out for the future since the bottle I bought is refillable.

Here, like in the Alien Goddess version, the opening follows the coconut but fades quickly while the jasmine announces its arrival with a bang. The heart is that white flower with vanilla and cashmere. Let’s say in the ‘Intense’ version, the benzoin gives the jasmine a sweeter, resinous feel. What remains on the skin is the flower combined with vanilla and woody accents. Longevity is 6 to 8 hours with moderate projection. In summary, on my skin Goddess takes a fruity path, while the ‘Intense’ is a woody floral embraced by vanilla and benzoin. The bottles are very similar. The ‘Intense’ has darker liquid and is indeed more intense than its predecessor. It was nice to know the scent, but I still stick with the classic Alien.

  • This perfume is a treasure, very similar to Donna Born in Roma Intense. It’s a sweet jasmine, not as indolic as the original Alien, sitting on a creamy base thanks to cashmere, benzoin, and vanilla. It’s an exquisite scent that wraps you in warmth. I love it if you already have the Born in Roma Intense because they smell 98% alike; if you have one, you don’t need the other. It doesn’t have excellent longevity or projection, but I don’t complain; the delicious scent makes up for it, and I’m not bothered by having to reapply.

  • This perfume is a gem, very similar to Donna Born in Roma Intense. It’s a sweet jasmine, less indolic than the original Alien, built on a creamy base featuring cashmere wood, benzoin, and vanilla. It’s an exquisite scent that wraps around you. If you have Born in Roma Intense, you don’t need this and vice versa, as they smell 98% alike. It doesn’t have excellent longevity or projection, but I don’t complain; the delicious aroma makes up for it, and I’m not bothered by having to reapply.

  • anamaestracorreo

A jasmine with benzoin that’s totally addictive, wrapped in an ultra-creamy solar coconut. Excellent longevity and projection. One of the few perfumes where three sprays are enough. I give it a 10. It has improved quite a bit since I bought it a year ago.

  • Valentina33.11

Very different from Alien Goddess: smells predominantly of jasmine that carries everything, followed by very subtle vanilla and ylang-ylang… I bought it hoping it would last longer than Alien Goddess (which I love to death but lasts NOTHING), and indeed it lasts longer… but it’s a different scent 😭 delicious, but a different scent

  • ALEJANDRA Orz

Less coconut, less sweet, and more floral than Goodes. In my opinion, it’s more versatile for any season or moment; it can easily become a signature scent.

  • strawberryfields

First time a perfume doesn’t smell like what they say… I don’t get it. Lasts barely 2 hours on my skin, what a shame because they promise so much and I love Mugler.

  • I love the scent; people have asked me multiple times what I’m wearing. However, after a year, it started leaving a red stain on my skin and clothes. They say it might be because I store it in the bathroom, though someone else had the same issue. What a pity because it’s my favorite 🙁
