Correct perfume, you can’t ask for more at this price. It’s become a trend for Zara to release perfumes with really good scents. Obviously, with few exceptions, they still have poor longevity. This one along with Night II is an excellent choice for the smell, but very weak on duration. I’d say both last about 4 hours on skin, at most. The iris notes are very prominent, but the best note I find is the leather… very intense and rich aroma.
Personally, I don’t find the similarity people claim. Maybe it has some nuances of Dior Homme, but it’s a different perfume. It smells very much like lip balm due to the iris. There are also hints of gum, but not a sweet one. To wrap up, at the end of its moderate longevity, it expresses a powder scent, which I imagine also comes from the iris.
I picked it up at my local Zara and I’d rate the scent an 8/10. It’s very similar to Dior Homme with that noticeable iris. The trail is medium to low; it’s not as intense as the original, you have to get close to smell it, but it’s a really good fragrance. Just keep in mind it’s not an exact clone and has its downsides: it lasts 4-5 hours generously, though I apply more than six sprays. It never bothers anyone; it will surely get compliments. If you want that prominent sweet iris and that makeup style, Zara 9.0 will please you more and perform better.
It has iris in the heart, nothing of lavender. In my opinion, Night III is a total hit from Zara, perfect for fall and winter with a dress shirt on. If we can’t reach Dior Homme because of the price, this is the option. For the average nose, they are identical, though Dior projects more. Night III lasts about 7 to 8 hours on my skin. If you like iris, don’t hesitate to skip the Dior and go for this Zara one.
Top notes are great and the projection is a solid 10, but the longevity is a total disaster. Decent quality and a fantastic price, so it’s worth grabbing blind. 6/10. It smells delicious for real, but it’s such a shame it doesn’t last.
The iris in the opening doesn’t compare to the Dior L’Homme line; it’s worlds apart. I think it smells good and lasts about 6 or 7 hours on skin. I expected more from this perfume. It’s the first day, we’ll see how it behaves after a week in storage. For now, I wouldn’t recommend it.
I don’t detect the iris in this fragrance, but I do sense the sweet touch; it’s very good and recommended. However, it lasts only about two hours on skin…
It’s a rich scent, but unfortunately, it doesn’t project beyond an hour and then stays close to the skin for another 3 or 4 hours at most. For the price, you can’t ask for more; it feels high-quality and gives us the glory while it lasts. When I applied it, it reminded me of Armani Code Profumo—I’m not saying they’re the same, but I guess it’s the cardamom in the opening, plus they share lavender and amber. Armani is better and has more body, but this is well-executed for its price.
It brings back memories of the smell of Bayer pills from my childhood.
Smells amazing, very masculine. To me, it smells like lavender, similar to DG Pour Homme but without the sage that makes it feel too serious; here, cardamom and amber add sensuality and sweetness without being cloying. The overall package is top-notch and has earned me plenty of compliments. On skin, it lasts about 8 hours, projecting strongly for the first two before settling closer to the skin, though it’s still noticeable. On clothes, it’s penetrating, lasts forever, and sometimes smells like fabric softener. It’s versatile, perfect for fall and spring. The price-to-quality ratio is brutal, and it bears a strong resemblance to YSL L’Homme Parfum Intense, which costs three times as much.
I won’t say much; I got it on sale, but neither do I like it nor dislike it, and I wouldn’t buy it again.
It was a blind buy on promotion along with its sister, Night Pour Homme II, for just $12. What a pleasant surprise; it smells great. It works wonderfully on my skin, even with Zara perfumes, and easily lasts 8 hours. I’ve received compliments, and my wife has become a fan. We both wear it on cold days or for night outings.
I got it in a pack with Night Pour Homme II for 17,000 pesos. Honestly, it smells delicious but lasts very little; I put it on in the morning and by noon it was gone.
So simple that there’s nothing worth highlighting about Zara III. Very soft lavender; according to the notes it should have bergamot, but there’s none. Maximum 3 hours on skin. Only for enclosed spaces. I won’t buy it again.
It lasts super short on my skin. To my taste, it’s very woody, reminding me of winters in the countryside, playing in damp wooden barns. Low projection and low longevity. Now that the heat is dropping in my city, I’ll try it in winter.
I got it in a set with Night Pour Homme II, which aren’t sold separately in Argentina. It smells great, with pear and lavender notes, sweetness, and a powdery touch. For the price, it’s a good option. The downside is it’s very soft and short-lived, about 3 to 4 hours. Recommended for daily use, not for standing out; it stays close to the skin.
I wish I had bought another bottle of Night Pour Homme III or a duplicate that lasts longer. The other one in the pack was boring. I searched Dior or Givenchy for something with powdery iris, but it’s not the same. That iris scent is hard to find anymore; everything smells creamier now. I don’t care that it doesn’t leave a trail; if it lasted a bit longer, it would be another level.
It smells very different from the usual, with a resemblance to Dior Homme Intense. The iris is very noticeable at first, then fades away. I liked it; it smells like graphite pencil. 8/10 scent, 6/10 projection, 5/10 longevity (about 4.5 hours projecting).
I still can’t quite pin down what it really resembles, neither YSL L’Homme Parfum Intense nor Dior Homme Intense. If anyone knows its twin, please let me know.
I’m obsessed with the scent. It smells like Dior Homme Intense but with its own unique style. The projection is soft and lasts about 6 hours. Perfect for dates, to enjoy close to your partner.
Without fear of being wrong, this is one of those perfect fragrances to wear to sleep. Slightly sweet, woody, with cardamom and lavender that make it feel very homey and autumnal. As already mentioned, it doesn’t have great longevity or projection. And it doesn’t resemble Dior Homme as much as claimed. It’s a delicious composition, but for personal and close enjoyment. I use it to sleep and it works wonderfully. I’ll test it cold to see if it has better projection and durability.
Exquisite fragrance, that iris that makes us all fall in love. For short events, a dinner, or a romantic date if you apply it well, you can enjoy it. Likewise, it’s a clear example that not everything is about performance; the most important thing is the aroma. And for that price, you can’t complain.
Finally, I found what it’s based on: Prada L’Homme, and it has NOTHING to do with YSL L’Homme Parfum Intense as people indicate.
I understand the reference to L’Homme Intense, but since that’s one of my favorite fragrances, this dupe disappointed me quite a bit.
I bought it recently at Zara and it’s perfect! I think it’s the most unconventional perfume I own; I love it. Many people say it’s similar to YSL L’Homme Intense, and others say Prada L’Homme Intense; I’d dare to say it’s a mix of both. The opening is spectacular; if you like iris, I think for the price it should be your fragrance. This strength of the iris lasts 30-40 minutes, then drops a bit until after 2-3 hours you can still feel it, but very faintly. The woody and citrus notes give it a very good masculine touch. If I had to define it, it’s like a shaving foam from a barbershop. Although they say it can be unisex, in my opinion, it’s totally masculine. It could last longer: on my skin (very dry), it lasts a maximum of 5 hours, and on clothes up to 6-9 hours (depending on the fabric). On skin it gives 4-6 hours, and on clothes 6-9 more or less. As for projection, it doesn’t project badly, but it’s not best mode either; a decent projection, maybe a meter and a half at most, for about 2-3 hours. To summarize, for the price it’s spectacular; give it a try and let me know what you think. Cheers.
A 10/10 value-for-money perfume. There are few things in this range that offer such a pleasant experience. Regarding the dilemma of which perfume it imitates: in my case, it’s clear. The inspiration is Givenchy Reserve Privée, although they aren’t inventing anything new and other options could apply, but if I had to choose a commercial one, it would be Reserve Privée. Both share a bergamot opening that evolves into an iris heart and ends in an amber-woody base. What’s the main difference? Zara gives it a brightness from the start with a pear fruit accord that adds a younger, nocturnal tone, with a sweet touch in the heart and base, while Reserve Privée starts with a whisky absolute that adds more seriousness and formality. That’s where the difference lies. If you ask me which one I’d keep, for someone over 30, I’d go with Reserve Privée, but without a doubt, I’d apply this Zara for night outings. For 16€, it’s definitely worth having if you’re an iris lover.
Iris aroma, great value for money, better than the Nuit de L’homme mentioned. Similar in that good budget-friendly scent to what Lapidus Poker Face could be (obviously not the same). Performance is fair and the trail is moderate; it’s striking and intense as the iris dries down. Better for winter and night. Needs reapplication to last the day. For those who like iris, unisex (it looks more masculine to me), this could be a great buy that you wouldn’t guess is a Zara budget option. Any similarities? Maybe for those who know the excellent Ralph’s Club Elixir, though that’s more complex with a more subdued iris note than Zara. Give it a try if it’s still at your nearby Zara. Cheers.
The olfactory pyramid is incorrect, at least for the current version.
I have a November 2024 batch, and the pyramid on the bottle doesn’t match Fragrantica. The opening is spectacular; it definitely doesn’t smell like those cheap commercial scents like 1 Million or Invictus. The iris, though, fades in a flash (1-2 minutes), but it’s well-crafted. It smells clean, like women’s makeup, which we already know. It’s an iris far from Prada and Valentino, much closer to Dior. The downside is it lasts only 1-2 minutes. What a shame, because the scent is addictive. It’s a fragrance that barely projects or lasts; you have to spray it at least 10 times to get half an hour of projection. I don’t smell the leather note, just the wood as it dries. It’s similar to Dior Homme Intense, but with very low projection and potency. What a pity the longevity is so short; otherwise, it would be a 10/10. I wouldn’t buy it again, but I’ll probably finish the bottle soon because it smells great, and also because you have to use so much to actually smell it. Unisex fragrances. I still haven’t found the right use for it. I wear it when I’m alone at home and at the office. I don’t care much if others like it or not. It’s an addictive scent; you’d want to be smelling it all the time.
Where the hell is the iris in this guy’s pyramid?
A flanker of La Nuit de Homme with iris for 16 euros and better performance… I’ll take my money, Mr. Amancio.
Not exact, but it reminds me a bit of La Nuit de Homme Intense and Dior Homme Parfum 2025 due to the soapy iris. The makeup scent fades very quickly; it’s a soft fragrance, just hoping it matures like Arab perfumes.
Just bought it… for me, it’s a lighter version of Valentino Uomo… I own both and there’s definitely something in common…
Right out of the bottle, it smells like plastic, then dusty iris with a touch of sweetness like blackcurrants (I remember that note from a Kaiak I own, probably Aventura). After that, I don’t detect any of the listed notes. I wouldn’t choose or recommend it. It’s just a ‘meh’.
Bought it in May 2025 at Zara Argentina. As others have noted, the scent pyramid on the bottle doesn’t match Fragrantica. It’s clean and rich, but projection dies out after 10 minutes and it barely lasts a few hours on the skin. It’s pricey here ($50) and doesn’t last at all. Total disappointment. If you’re in Argentina, save up a bit more and grab a designer fragrance that lasts at least an hour longer.
I see many bad reviews. Is it short-lasting? Is it expensive? Does it smell like plastic? It’s a modern, fresh, elegant, casual, and chic fragrance. It has that classic Dior Homme iris opening, very similar to the 2025 version: potent, sweet, sensual, and lipstick-like, but here less dirty, more powdery and citrusy, highlighting the bergamot without feeling cheap. It’s the younger, more youthful sibling of Dior Homme Parfum 2025. Excellent value for money. Great notes, acceptable longevity, and a decent sillage. I recommend it; it’s pleasant, and the iris scent smells great. In my opinion, it’s an Eau de Toilette.
I think it’s unisex. I’m a woman and I use it as a clean winter scent. It’s ambered lavender and warm. It doesn’t offend anyone, nor is it a masterpiece. Aromatic, warm, slightly sweet and powdery, very wearable.
A modern classic: practical and versatile. I admit I don’t have many perfumes with prominent iris notes, maybe just the classic Dior Homme Parfum, and smelling them together here, I felt the vibe of that line, though a friend said it’s more like the Valentino line, which I haven’t tried. Whatever it is, I was surprised they didn’t list the iris note. It’s perfect for everyday wear in cool weather, it doesn’t offend, and smells current but decent. If you love iris, buy it blind; it’s one of Zara’s cheapest. Just be aware the longevity is poor, though if you apply it generously on clothes, it lasts a bit longer.
Hi, my take. As an iris fanatic, I tried this and didn’t hesitate to buy it, especially at 20€ in the Canaries. The opening is great, but that’s where it stops. The longevity on my skin is terrible—it barely lasts two hours on clothes. It’s a shame it doesn’t last longer when it smells so good. Honestly, I don’t recommend it: if you love iris and can spend 30€ more, go for Valentino Uomo or any L’Homme by Prada or Blue Noir Parfum. My advice: test it first. Cheers.
For the price, you can’t ask for more. The opening is a bit weak, with that powdery citrus makeup scent that’s nice but doesn’t turn heads. However, once it dries, wow—it’s insane! That sweet base lingers. Perfect for dates, but only use it in cold weather at night; in the heat, it gets a bit cloying. It’s not strong, but it’s truly enjoyable in winter.
