  It works for me. It’s a dark, bristly chypre with moss and root notes. Smells super synthetic and soapy, like detergent and cleaning products, but with a weird narcotic vibe, like mixing a cheap marine air freshener with medicinal ointment. Tried it yesterday and already bought it again for summer. At under 13 euros, the longevity isn’t great—about an hour and a half to two hours, similar to the new Le Male or L’Homme Prada. Reminds me of a muddy, powdery lime-lemon polo, like those refreshing summer storms.

Tried it yesterday and already bought it again for this summer. At under 13 euros, the longevity isn’t great—about an hour and a half to two hours, on par with the new Le Male or L’Homme Prada.   After suffering through the disappearance of L’Occitane’s Verdon, I found this Zara gem: the notes differ, but the result is remarkably similar. Longevity is moderate, which is normal for an EDT, but it keeps its elegance until the very end. I loved it so much I bought three, just in case the real ones ever come back.
