The opening is a bit dark and the carrot seed note is very prominent, but after a few minutes, it turns into a masterpiece with those intense wood notes. It’s clearly the Aventus DNA mixed with Santal 33, with the latter taking the lead. Without a doubt, it’s the best of the three Elixirs and will become one of the most sought-after scents once it’s discontinued.

I liked it. It reminds me a lot of Vibrant Leather Oud, but darker and woodier thanks to the sandalwood. The longevity and projection are spot on. I wouldn’t wear it in heat or enclosed spaces. The bottle is stunning with its magnetic cap, which is a nice touch. Solid proposal from Zara.

I’m not surprised people find it similar to Santal 33; in fact, the sandalwood is the most prominent note, and it’s one of my favorite base notes. The opening is a bit like Le Male Le Parfum due to the cardamom, but without the iris; the dry down is a blend of palo santo and sandalwood.

This one looks great. The opening felt very old-school, almost like Encre Noire on steroids, but once it dries down, it’s flawless. It’s an extra-woody take on the Aventus DNA, with great projection and a mature vibe. Looks great.
