The first spray of The Impudent Cousin by Penhaligon left me wanting to take a shower: super fresh tangerine, a bitter touch of petit grain, and patchouli that adds body. It sounds great, but it evaporates in 30 minutes without leaving a trace or projection. For the price, I wouldn’t buy it again. Ideal if you’re looking for instant freshness, but forget about longevity.
Upon trying The Impudent Cousin by Penhaligon, I felt cleanliness, joy, and calm. The tangerine opens with freshness, the petit grain adds bitterness, and the patchouli gives depth. The problem is that everything lasts about 30 minutes: there’s no sillage or projection. For the price, I don’t recommend buying it again. Great scent, terrible longevity.

If you love gin and don’t mind spending the money, it’s a great option; if you’re looking for something similar for less, The Juniper Sling fits better.
