The queen of the entire collection, the most special and fruity one. I love it for that pear note because I don’t have anything like it in my wardrobe. You can definitely smell the pear, the peach, and a very soft touch of saffron; it’s mysterious and addictive. I haven’t tried Guidance, but I tested them on the same day and they smell very similar on the skin, though Amouage evolves more and lasts in a different league. Stellar Amber has good longevity and moderate projection. If you have to pick one from this collection, this is the one I recommend. It smells weak; the pear only appears at the beginning and then disappears, nothing like Guidance which is truly a delight. However, it’s the most passable of the entire Zara amber collection.
The best in the amber range, the most special one. I haven’t smelled Guidance so I can’t compare, but it’s rich with pear and a spicy touch. It doesn’t last long on the skin, but on clothes it’s over 8 hours. The funny thing is I put it on at 8 am and at 7 pm someone asked me what perfume I was wearing, even though I couldn’t smell it anymore. When I got home and took off my clothes, I smelled the trail again! Apparently, I have anosmia, but since people keep complimenting me, I haven’t stopped using it since I bought it.

You can definitely smell the pear, peach, and a very subtle saffron. It’s mysterious and addictive. I don’t have Guidance, but I tested them on each hand and on paper the same day; to me, they are very similar at first, though the Amouage one evolves more, is more addictive, and lasts in a different league. Stellar Amber has good longevity and medium projection. This is the one I’d recommend without a doubt from this collection. The best of the amber collection, the most special one. I haven’t smelled Guidance to compare, but it smells rich; you can detect the pear and a spicy touch. Longevity is low to moderate on skin, but over 8 hours on clothes. I applied it at 8 am and got compliments at 7 pm even though I couldn’t smell it anymore; when I took off my clothes, the trail was strong. It seems to cause anosmia for me, or something like that—I don’t feel it, but others do. Since I bought it, I haven’t stopped using it because it gets me so many compliments.
I bought it blind based on good reviews and got scared. Upon spraying, I was repulsed; it smells like cough syrup mixed with cheap car air freshener. Plus, despite what they say, it smells like cinnamon/anise, which is my biggest no-go. These are the fragrances where you either love them or hate them; you have to try before you buy. Update: after two days, it improves slightly as it dries down but smells like church incense, not encouraging. The fruity notes never arrive, and it’s a shame because I had high expectations.
Is it a clone of Guidance? No, but it has a lot of similarity and is the designer perfume that reminds me of it the most. Guidance is unique and magical to me. Even though Stellar Amber isn’t identical, on my skin it has clear reminiscences. At 12 euros for 100ml, it’s a laughable price for the quality, with 7-8 hours of longevity and moderate projection. It’s a good option if you’re looking for something similar. They aren’t identical, don’t ask for apples when you get pears, but it smells alike. I think I could substitute it if you don’t want to spend more. I love buying it blind; it lets me use this scent more freely. PS: Based on comments, it seems to change a lot depending on skin chemistry, so I recommend testing it first.
Sandalwood, vetiver, and lavender take the lead. I love woods, and this smells like pure wood. It’s simple and perfect for layering with another, like a floral. I wear it with Saphir’s Nardus, and the combo is top-tier.
Smells like spices similar to Guidance but doesn’t last even a minute; Amber Satin is a whole different story. What a rich collection, they all smell divine. It’s a shame they don’t ship to Argentina; we’re dying to get Zara perfumes here.
Zara, please re-release this liquid gold! It’s my favorite so far. It evolves beautifully over time and lasts all day with a powerful trail. I wouldn’t change a single thing about its formula.
