Beautiful, sexy, captivating, different, and unique, above all tremendously sensual. I recommend it for the evening because it’s very warm.
Warm, vanilla-forward, very oriental, intimate, and enveloping.
Warm and vanilla-forward, totally oriental, intimate, and enveloping.
I liked it at first, but now it feels very heavy. I use it as a room scent because I can’t handle it on my skin. I think it’s a very heavy fragrance suitable only for cold climates, and I find it very masculine. No repeat.
I liked it at first, but now it seems very heavy to me; I use it as a room spray because I can’t stand it on my skin. I think it’s a fragrance that’s too heavy for cold climates, plus I find it very masculine. I won’t be repurchasing.
One of the best fragrances in this type of store for the price, without a doubt. I’ve gotten so many compliments every time I wear it. Very sexy, mysterious, and unique, even if it’s not a super complex perfume. The projection is beastly, and the scent lasts on clothes for days.
I can’t believe it, this gem (now called Eau d’Orient) deserves more praise. I tried it years ago and was speechless. The wood notes are incredible—something I don’t find in another women’s perfume that projects this much. The incense and spices give it that mystery and sensuality you’re looking for. Close your eyes and you see a dry landscape at sunset, a woman with a deep gaze, red silk, and golden bracelets. It’s warm, dry, and deep. Very feminine, but I also see a confident man, a true dandy, like Dorian Gray. It’s not super complex, but it’s flawless and very well made. Totally captivating; even after all this time, I still identify with it.
It smells incredibly good. Very sensual and enigmatic. The downside of this brand is that the perfumes don’t last anything on the skin. What a pity, because the originality of the scent surpasses many others. On more than one occasion, I sprayed it into the air like a room spray to create an enveloping, mysterious atmosphere.
Hands down, one of the best fragrances from this type of store at its price point. I’ve received compliments almost every time I wear it. Very sexy, mysterious, and unique despite not being a particularly complex perfume. The projection is beastly, and the scent can last days on clothes.
I tested it today at noon, and it’s now 9 PM, and it still smells incredibly strong, identical to Alyssa Ashley’s Ambergris.
I bought it with great excitement and loved it for the first few days. However, as I used it more, I started feeling something unpleasant. It felt very heavy, with the incense popping out in a harsh way, leaving a very plastic and unbearable base. My impression is as if it had gone bad within a few months of opening (even while storing it properly). A disappointment.
I bought it with great excitement and loved it for the first few days. However, as I kept using it, I started feeling something even unpleasant. It felt very heavy; the incense stood out but in a scratchy way, leaving a plastic-like, unbearable base. My impression is that it went bad within a few months of opening (even though I stored it properly). A disappointment.
I bought it after testing it on skin; I fell in love at the moment and purchased it, but upon wearing it, I realized it doesn’t project much and its longevity is short. The scent smells like burning plastic and doesn’t evolve; it breaks my heart to describe a fragrance like this. But that’s what I smell, and my sense of smell is very expert. A disappointment; luckily, I bought the small size.
I bought this fragrance after testing it on my skin and fell in love at first sniff, but once I wore it, I noticed it had zero projection and lasted barely an hour. It smells like burnt plastic, and that note never evolves. I hate to say it, but that’s exactly what my expert nose detects. A total letdown, at least I got the small size.
I was dying to try this fragrance; they said it smelled mysterious. Maybe for them a stable is mysterious, but to me it smells like a stable, or even worse, animal waste. Absolute horror.
I was dying to smell this fragrance; they said it smelled mysterious. Well, maybe they consider a stable mysterious, because that’s what it smells like, if not animal excrement. A horror.
I tried it in 2016 on a freezing winter day walking around Barcelona. At first, it didn’t work for me; I’d never smelled anything like it, masculine but with a feminine touch. Gradually, I understood it, and now I adore it. It takes me to a distant, exotic place; the incense and pepper give me peace and meditation, but honestly, I only think of Christmas when I wear it, thanks to that initial memory. I love how the wood is handled; I feel wrapped in a soft, comforting sandalwood blanket. I reserve it for winter afternoons and nights, though I use it moderately in autumn. I enjoy it for going out and dinner, especially for romantic occasions, because it’s a very sexy perfume. It’s also strong; the sillage is noticeable from over two meters away, but it’s not annoying. I even tried making a homemade room spray by burning plastic to mimic it, but it didn’t work—I imagine it doesn’t smell like burning plastic at all. Out of all the Rituals scents, this is the one I’d recommend without hesitation.
I tried it for the first time in 2016 on a cold winter night walking around Barcelona with a friend. At first, I almost hated it; I’d never smelled anything like it before—it was masculine yet had a feminine halo. Gradually, I understood it and fell in love until today. The fragrance transports me to a distant, exotic place; its incense and pepper evoke relaxation and meditation, though honestly, I only think of Christmas when I spray it, obviously influenced by that initial moment. I love how the wood is crafted; it makes me feel wrapped in a soft, comforting sandalwood blanket. I save it for winter afternoons and evenings, though I use it moderately in autumn. I enjoy it for outings and dinners, especially romantic ones, because it’s definitely sexy. It’s also strong; I can smell its trail from more than two meters away, but it’s not invasive. I even tried making a homemade room spray by burning plastic to achieve a similar scent, but no luck. I imagine it’s because it doesn’t smell like burning plastic at all. Out of all Rituals perfumes, if I had to recommend one, I’d definitely recommend this.
I tried it in-store and, after two years of constantly thinking about it, I finally got it. It opens with a potent pepper note, then softens into something warm and slightly woody. It’s not a beast or overly projecting. I like it this way; it’s the perfect fragrance to wear over an oversized sweater on a cold day. I have the 15ml format, and despite idealizing it at first, I don’t think it’s anything special, so I won’t be buying it again. That said, I’ll enjoy it as long as it lasts.

Smells like a pencil mine with a dry vanilla touch, very woody and rounded. It has spices, like cloves and ground pepper in a mortar. Overall, it gives an incense sensation: cozy, nocturnal, quiet, and deep. Ideal for enjoying a wine in good company in a peaceful setting.
