I tried the perfume yesterday, but with so much scent on my arms and my nose saturated from previous tests, I missed it; I just remember that I loved it. Today, Saturday, I’m going back to the store to try it again. It seemed quite fresh, but this time I’ll make sure to sample that ‘fruit cocktail’ mentioned in its composition.
English reviews of this fragrance clash with my opinion; I rate it positively, though I agree on two points: 1) It’s not an ‘Oriental Woody’ scent. 2) It’s not an ‘Intense’ (they should have kept it as just Solo Loewe Eau de Cologne; the ‘Intense’ tag is unnecessary). It’s a fresh, aquatic cologne, a delicious ‘fruit cocktail.’ It was never on my shopping list; I wanted (and still want) Solo Loewe Absoluto, but this ‘fruit cocktail’ seduced me so much that I bought it, even though another flanker exists (curiously, I don’t like the perfume that started the family: Solo Loewe). The first scent that came to mind was Davidoff Cool Water for men, and then… the women’s version. Yes, it has a subtle touch that reminded me of that feminine perfume, though I don’t know why. Sorry, British friends, but simply put, I like it.

It’s nothing like that generic, synthetic freshness everyone else wears; Loewe blended high-quality aromas that deliver true freshness and elegance. People on the street ask me what I’m wearing because it intrigues them; some have even told me they’ve never heard anything like it before. It’s an interesting scent—citrusy, fresh, with aquatic and clean notes—but it stands out for that special quality Loewe puts into everything. Projection, trail, and longevity are moderate to intense. If you get a chance to try it, do it.
