I’m hooked. It’s a distinctive scent that breaks away from trends, and while it’s not the most original in the world, it suits me perfectly. I love it because it’s fresh, simple (not simplistic), wearable, yet smells incredible. Very addictive. It reminds me of Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino because, even though they’re not the same, it shares that signature profile—even though this one has no neroli. The main difference from the regular Solo is the cedar, which gives it a more mature personality. That doesn’t mean it’s only for older people. It’s elegant, unpretentious, clean, and usable year-round. Maybe it’d even work for a casual date in the heat, though I’d wear it for almost everything 🤭

It’s a flanker that echoes the original but tones down the fruitiness while boosting the wood notes with dry cedar, alongside benzoin and mandarin which dominate. It’s serious, mature, and refined—perfect for intermediate seasons. The profile is more discreet than flashy, with a sillage like a personal bubble. Lasts about 8 hours, longer on clothes. Top-notch quality; I’d pair it with Terre d’Hermès for the same occasions and season. The 100ml bottle is around €90 online, slightly more in-store. Loewe prices are stable, so watch for deals like Valentine’s or Black Friday. Totally worth it; once you smell it, you’ll want it in your collection.

An ultra-masculine and elegant fragrance that gives you presence and confidence. In my case, it lasts over 8 hours, even up to two days on clothes. It doesn’t overwhelm the room; it’s intimate, subtle yet constant. If someone gets close, they’ll ask what you’re wearing. Women love it. The scent is linear, not evolving, and I like that because the sophisticated woods, mandarin, and pink pepper stay consistent, adding warmth and character. I’ll definitely repurchase when I finish this bottle.

Wood balance: Solo Cedro has something special. From the first moment, it conveys calm, elegance, and balance. It doesn’t seek attention but accompanies you with a very masculine serenity. The star is the dry, clean, warm cedar, backed by an amber note and a spicy touch that adds character. It’s sober and refined, ideal for daily wear or moments when you want to project confidence without overdoing it. It feels natural, almost like a second skin, making it super easy to wear.

Loewe Solo Cedro is currently my favorite fragrance. What can I say? Simply excellent. From the first spray, the rose and pink pepper create an elegant, balanced opening that soon blends with that unmistakable cedar… a combination I love every time I wear it. As hours pass, the lavender emerges, adding serenity and continuity to that woody base that lingers until the end. For me, it’s the perfect perfume for summer at important events or special dinners. It has a magnetic quality, projecting security and calm, perceived with sophisticated naturalness. Plus, I’ve received several compliments; it’s a scent that attracts without imposing.
Samito24
Great fragrance, versatile with notes that become more prominent as the temperature changes, whether cold or hot, without being overwhelming (except for the pepper, which has made people sneeze when I apply it). I’ve received good compliments: ‘smells great,’ ‘smells like a man.’ That said, it’s very hard for me to imagine a woman wearing it. Highly masculine and sophisticated. I have the current version and will definitely buy another once this one runs out. 9/10.
Avalon1224
Same style and, in my opinion, practically identical to Loewe’s Solo, but with shorter longevity and projection.

I bought it out of curiosity; Loewe isn’t a super mainstream brand, and I wasn’t familiar with their style. At first, it seemed incredibly pleasant, delicate, refined, and versatile—I wear it day or night, summer or winter. I can’t really distinguish the notes; it’s just a lovely, fairly linear scent from the first spray to the dry-down. It’s not a powerhouse, but it lingers on the skin all day and smells even better on clothes. In intimate situations like hugs, you’ll get compliments; people will tell you how good you smell, but only up close. Don’t expect this at two meters away—it’s a proximity scent. If you think about it, it might not work as a projection machine, but as it is, it’s perfect. Just to clarify, this is for the new bottle version from LVMH; it doesn’t smell the same as any other, it’s not fully woody, and it’s not targeted at a specific age group. It’s a beautiful piece of perfumery and a delightful surprise.

It’s exquisite… a refreshing take on this sweet trend. This Solo Cedro is robust, woody, and citrusy—subtle yet persistent. Perfect for men 35 and up. I sprayed it on my forearm at 11:45 PM with three sprays. I went to bed, and now at 7:21 AM, it’s still right on my skin. It’s a joy to smell… a solid 10 out of 10.

Too bad my nose can’t pick up all the nuances. At first, it smells like an old man’s perfume (is this Loewe Solo?), then it fades, leaving just lemon and wood. Too expensive for what it delivers. The roasted chicken note is delicious, but this one isn’t for me.
cheble
Okay, it smells good and lasts a while, but the wood notes dominate from the very start. Nothing spectacular or bright.
albert1654
The longevity and sillage are quite weak, although the scent itself is very rich.
beto_ruiz
Solo Loewe Cedar is woody, aromatic, and spicy. The opening recalls the classic with mandarin and spices; then it becomes drier due to the cedar and less sweet. It’s a great fragrance for fans of the Solo line: pleasant, masculine, and elegant. On my skin, it lasted 8 hours with regular sillage.
Costos12
Short version: it smells mysterious, warm, and high-quality. What stands out most is the mandarin and cedar. Totally recommended for temperate climates.
Boby24
It opens with an acidic yet creamy lemon, slightly alcoholic. Then the cedar timidly emerges alongside an orangey touch that balances the sweetness. After a few minutes, the pepper hits and the vibrato is noticeable. It evolves a lot, even sounding mentholated at some points. Quite a journey, maybe fast-paced, but with considerable quality. At 20-30 minutes, it’s a full-on cedar bomb, a slap of wood and sawdust, the peak. Then it fades; by the fourth hour, it’s skin scent, leaving only subtle cedar and lavender. Maybe it causes olfactory fatigue, but I recommend reapplying midday. For the price, the performance is just right, but it’s a quality aroma, versatile, with several twists in the first hour.
donttrustspaniards
I confirm that the drying down of the cedar is very pleasant (softened with lavender and nutmeg, not dry as one might expect). To those who call mentioning a sawmill smell crazy: you’re not alone, it smells good. It’s masculine without falling into smoky or leather notes, but into natural notes and a subtle ensemble, very much in the Loewe style. Personally, I prefer this over the classic, which seems sweeter and more orangey to me, although I acknowledge that the original lasts longer (always at skin scent).
Mandeville
It combines citrus freshness with the warmth of cedar, creating something distinctive. It’s versatile and lasts 6 to 8 hours on skin. The projection is moderate, not overwhelming but it leaves a trail. The elegance of the cedar makes it ideal for work: discreet but sophisticated. It also works well for formal events and in winter, wrapping you in a cozy feeling.
Orlandoperfumesman
A delight. It feels like a super fresh, relaxing, and fine wood. It’s a short-sillage perfume, for personal enjoyment, like most from that era.
OJRSilva
Very elegant and leaves a mark. The cedar is quite noticeable, and I recommend it for the evening; it leaves many compliments.
Geco
It smells a bit like F Black by Ferragamo.
PowerParfum
Starts with mandarin, then shifts to woody with a sweet, spicy touch of nutmeg that softens it. I love it and have had it since 2015. Lasts about 5 hours with moderate projection for two hours. It’s versatile and works all year round.
Gusverde
It doesn’t add anything new. It’s a clone of the original, which smells rounder, creamier, and more addictive to me. It’s a good perfume, but flankers this similar just confuse people more.
alvarodelgadob
Amazing scent. Opens with woody notes and potent citrus plus a very subtle lavender. Projects well and lasts over 8 hours. Gets lots of compliments. Not very versatile; better for the office with care or formal outings.
Sauron89
The one thing I didn’t like is that it smells so sad. At first, it’s like the classic Solo or Platinum, but it dries down super fast, almost like Armand Basi’s Wild Forest but less foresty and with way less longevity. It uses the same wood and pepper and nutmeg idea, but while Wild Forest gives a deep atmosphere, this smells flat and arid. It feels like sitting on a bench far from nature. The quality isn’t bad, but it’s boring. I expected something better than Wild Forest, and Loewe’s Cedar tried but did it lazily.
HIOM84
There must be an undeclared note because when it dries, it resembles Encre Noir Sport. Maybe it lacks that strong opening of ENS, but the dry down is identical to Lalique’s.

SOFT AND UNCOMPLICATED: Cedar is easy to love or hate. If you’re looking for soft wood, this is your perfume, because old woods tend to be intense. If you expected a pure cedar experience like leaning against a tree trunk, you’ll be disappointed. To me, the notes are very wearable; it smells like cedar without being tedious. The mandarin and pepper give a soft spicy touch at the start, and lavender balances the wood. It’s best for enclosed spaces and cool climates, better for day than night. It’s aimed at people aged 25 to 35, bringing wood closer to newcomers, though it will disappoint the old-school crowd. Sprays: 5-7. Longevity: 8. Projection and sillage: moderate.

Solo Cedro Loewe isn’t ‘Solo Cedro’; it’s a flanker in the Solo line. People need to be serious before criticizing based on the name, even though the houses don’t help. The Solo line doesn’t work for me, especially Platinum. This is a soft wood with citrus at the start and pepper later. It’s for those seeking uncomplicated wood—nothing intrusive and politically correct, but without much personality. Whether it’s worth Loewe’s price is up to you. It doesn’t convince me. Au revoir! P.S.: Lasts 6-8 hours.
rguezgabo
I agree with those who say it doesn’t smell much like cedar. When you say ‘solo cedar,’ you imagine cedar as the protagonist, not that other notes govern the essence.

I adore this perfume… Sure, it’s not the best in terms of quality, but it smells great and brings back memories of when I started with my partner. The first time I smelled it was shortly after its launch. I lived in Madrid, and a pharmacist from the corner store, with whom I chatted a lot, gave me a 15ml sample that I kept in my car. It was for emergencies, but little by little it became my go-to scent for picking up my girlfriend, who lived surrounded by pines and cypresses. I felt very comfortable in it. When the sample ran out, I bought a 100ml bottle with a decanter a week ago at the mall. Smelling it again flooded me with nostalgia. Now I wear it before we leave the house together, not just for picking her up.
