Solarissimo Levanzo by Azzaro

I’d say it’s one of the most exquisite low-cost fragrances. Masculine, green, fresh… spectacular.

One of the best modern Fougère versions. Unfortunately, it’s a bit addictive, and I say unfortunately because it doesn’t last long and comes in 75ml. The good news is it’s incredibly cheap.

Mint, cardamom, patchouli—just to name a few of my favorite and most attractive notes (especially cardamom and patchouli). Fresh, aromatic, more than a summer scent, it’s a daytime fragrance for all sunny climates year-round. Another vibe with a great attitude that puts you in a good mood. It’s not a lightie; I’d say it’s fresh and intense (no sweetness or aquatic notes here). It’s worth noting that the longevity is short, though it projects for a while. Given the price and how exquisite the scent is, it’s totally forgivable. Otherwise, just shower with it, and if it’s still available, grab another bottle without a second thought. Well done, Azzaro. I think we should pay attention to this Solarissimo trilogy that few talk about (the blue one is by Quentin Bisch). Low-cost recommendation, beautiful 75ml bottle presentation.

An exquisite green fragrance, but unfortunately, it lasts very little and projects very little. As an olfactory experience, it’s a delightful disappointment—I won’t be buying a second bottle.

Azzaro Solarissimo Levanzo smells fruity, fresh, and aromatic. The opening is very fresh and fruity, I assume it’s passion fruit, accompanied by a fleeting citrus touch and herbal spice notes of basil and mint, very pleasant. Then it settles into a woody base that keeps the spices fresh, adding cedar and a bit of tonka bean. It’s a modern take on citrus with fresh spices. Ideal for spring and summer, during the day, because it’s fresh, but it’s also easy to wear for any occasion. It lasts well, about 8 hours, though it stays close to the skin at first. A plus is that it’s available at a good price, so you can reapply without issues.

Brutal fragrance from Azzaro. It starts with a green lemon that blends with passion fruit and other well-combined notes. While it’s fresh and herbal, it lasts long and is perfect for daytime without being overwhelming. It’s elegant, distinguished, and truly special; it pairs well with both formal and sporty outfits. What’s fascinating is that under the sun and body heat, it really opens up and leaves an incredible trail, which is paradoxical given how fresh it smells. It brings me memories of a sunny morning on the Italian coast, with a cedar window open to the sea, light streaming in, and the scents of a local fruit and plant market. Azzaro Solarissimo is unique and exquisite, perfect for any collection, especially for that beautifully finished bottle with its natural wood cap.

Since this great perfume has no reviews yet, here’s my take: it has a citrus opening that blends with guava and cedar, with lavender hints, within 20 minutes. This lasts until it fades (about 10 hours on my skin). It reminded me of a fragrance I used and can’t find anymore, here in Argentina: Givenchy Green Energy, what a great one that was! Otherwise, since the nose is Mr. Raynaud (he did Dsquared2 Fresh, among others), quality is guaranteed. Fragrance: 9/10. Longevity: 10/10. Sillage: 7/10. Greetings from Argentina!
