I like it, but I still prefer Azzaro Chrome; it doesn’t bring anything new, just another aquatic citrus that resembles Aventus as much as night resembles day.

Hey guys, dial down the intensity on the Aventus comparison a bit. The only thing they have in common is the bottle.

First, I was hooked by the wooden cap and the scent coming from it. The first impression is a sweet but not invasive pineapple, very pleasant. It smells very similar to Oriflame’s Happy Diac at first. I picked it up for $20 on MercadoLibre and it was a great buy for the price (75ml). I didn’t find it as similar to Black Suede as people say. In terms of longevity, I’d say 2 to 3 hours; then it shifts to a soft, fresh woody scent like the cap, very pleasant for women. I tested several classics (Polo Blue, Acqua di Gio, Tommy 1985) and this one won. If you’re looking for compliments, it’s a great option. I’m just left wondering how similar it really is to Creed.

At first, I was hooked by the wooden cap and its scent. The initial impression is a sweet but not overpowering pineapple, very pleasant. It smells very similar to Oriflame’s Happy Diac right out of the bottle. I picked it up for $20 on MercadoLibre and it was a great buy for the price (75ml). I didn’t find it as similar to Black Suede as people claim. In terms of longevity, I’d give it 2 to 3 hours; afterward, it shifts to a soft, fresh woodiness like the cap, very nice for women. My only remaining question is how close it actually is to Creed.

  6. This is my first review; I’ve been reading for over 6 years and finally subscribed. I’ve been wearing this for almost 2 months during the South American summer. At first, I didn’t like it because the marine notes reminded me of others, but when I saw the deal ($12 for 75ml), I bought it to try. Magic! It has undeclared pineapple notes that, combined with the citrus and wood, give it that Creed Aventus vibe. It’s that smoky, sweet, fresh pineapple that makes it rich. Compliments all the time! It’s impossible not to like it. I wore it at night in the summer and it worked great. The longevity is incredible: I apply it 8 times and it lasts almost 10 hours on skin, even longer on clothes. The sillage is moderate but noticeable; it radiates more than a meter for the first 2 hours, and after 4 hours, even above 25 degrees, it’s still present. Not for smoky places, but perfect for the office or casual outings. It’s slightly sexy, more daytime than nighttime, and I think it works in any season.
