Descripción

Wanted by Azzaro is a woody-spicy fragrance for men. Launched in 2016, this composition was created by Fabrice Pellegrin and Olivier Cresp. The top notes unfold with fresh lemon, sour lime, ginger, lavender, and mint; the heart reveals apple, Guatemalan cardamom, juniper, and geranium; while the base settles on tonka bean, Amberwood, and Haitian vetiver.

  • If the ginger note is one of your favorites, this fragrance presents itself as an ideal option that highlights and celebrates that spicy nuance with great prominence.

  • Opening too synthetic for my taste, it arrived this morning, I sprayed one on my hand to test, after my shower I dressed in it and I notice that after a few hours that synthetic aroma doesn’t change. I bought it blindly and at a good price in a set format with 100ml and a 10ml decant but I’m going to give it up quickly, it’s not my taste. I recommend trying before buying, just in case it happens to you and it’s not to your liking.

  • Just starting in the world of perfumery, a friend recommended this perfume to me. It didn’t fully convince me the first time I tried it, but with time it did. Its opening doesn’t please me much, it’s very synthetic and unremarkable, but after about half an hour it evolves and transforms into a delicious scent. It’s a versatile perfume regarding age, recommended for any situation by regulating the sprays. I think it should only be discouraged in really hot heat because it’s somewhat sweet.

  • Slightly generic aroma as already indicated, but I would add that despite not being anything new, it exudes a lot of cleanliness and tidiness. You won’t smell tremendously spectacular, but you will smell very, very good, and people will tell you so. Typical fragrance that looks good in any occasion and indeed, it’s quite potent. In fact, I applied it along with 10 other designer perfumes and it completely ate them up, at least for the first hour. If you like perfumes with that typical clean smell that looks good anywhere and doesn’t stray from the norm but guarantees a good presence, Azzaro Wanted is for you, without a doubt. For me, a must given its price. The global appeal makes it a priority far ahead of other more expensive ones.

  • After years of using it as one of my signature fragrances, I have to say its performance has dropped since I got it in 2020, although it still holds up. To start with, what catches attention most is a citrus opening that transitions into a delicious apple scent combined with lavender and an amber and tonka vanilla base that gives it that sweet touch. It’s an all-rounder, suitable for any occasion, though I recommend wearing it when working in close quarters, as it doesn’t project much after the first half hour. It’s a compliment magnet and women like it a lot, following that line of soapy and fruity fragrances that appeal to everyone. It could also serve as an office fragrance, but it might end up feeling heavy due to its sweet finish; there are better options in that field. It’s valid for any age range (a friend said she’d recommend it to her father to wear), as it acquires a youthful character but is mature enough that someone over 40 wouldn’t disdain it. Overall, it’s a hit for someone looking for an all-rounder signature fragrance or a date perfume due to how well it works in close quarters. Another thing to add is its affordable price (here in Spain, 100ml can be found for 40-50 euros) compared to other designer fragrances.

  • Perfect for everyday use and very versatile, as it also works for special occasions. As for performance, quite good: I applied it at 1 PM and now at 7 PM it’s still on my skin, having projected for about 2-3 hours before fading in intensity. My only reservation and the reason why I won’t end up buying this fragrance is that it’s somewhat synthetic and I don’t feel the smell as unique as I would like. If you don’t have many perfumes, this is a versatile one that delivers and is liked.

  • I recommend trying before buying! My relationship with this fragrance is love-hate. I bought it blindly in 150ml at Zara’s price and I think it was a good purchase. Conceptually, I love it; it beats most of the market: Wanted is a bottle that reminds me of a revolver and a masculine, spiced scent (it doesn’t smell fresh to me and I can’t find the clean side), very long-lasting for an EDT that makes you feel like there’s a reward under the name in the Wild West. In this sense, it completely surpasses the rest of the Wanted line by Azzaro, as they lean more towards the pool of desire. My issue is with the scent itself: it smells like everything but doesn’t stand out within. I don’t know if it’s because the blend is formulated masterfully or the opposite. It has a generic smell that doesn’t stand out and is one of the ones that gives me the least compliments in my collection. Its performance does seem good as it projects and lasts for an EDT and isn’t annoying or invasive if you don’t apply more than 7 sprays. I recommend trying it first and comparing it with the rest of the Wanted line, because although its concept is superior, after testing its smaller siblings I regret having such a large bottle. In my opinion, they are better balanced, being denser and richer. Overall, it’s a versatile perfume that delivers, a solid and masculine option for everyday wear (especially spring and autumn) and besides, considering how long-lasting other designer fragrances are.

Richest perfume out there, perfect for everyday wear. If you’re just starting out with fragrances, this is the ideal choice; any man, regardless of age, will surely like it. I know most people here are addicted to scents and this might sound generic, but trust me: if you have few or just want one scent that covers any occasion, this is definitely the one you need. Incredible.

  • Spectacular opening and a sweet dry down; smells very rich. You can smell the apple after 10 minutes. I generally like it, although it’s not spectacular; yes, its performance is very decent. Very versatile. A 7.5 out of 10.

  • Azzaro Wanted is that perfume that’s always there, the first of its long family, and L’Oréal hasn’t discontinued it. I tried it in the heat in 2016 (its launch); Wanted by Night came out in 2018 and worked very well in the evenings, as I consider it versatile and, without being a NIGHT, it can be worn to dinners. It’s very pleasant; I noticed a lot of mint in the opening, fresh and attractive, and the apple gives it a touch afterwards with a pleasant development that lasted quite a while. The base is a contrast of serious woods with a sweet point from Tonka. Neither this nor the Night were BEST MODES, except in the opening and development. But if you have lunch or dinner and people tell you how good you smell, then it works. I don’t know if the current distributor has tampered with it; I bought one of the last batches of the NIGHT and it seems softer, although it’s already discontinued. Both were around 50 euros, which doesn’t seem expensive to me, especially since they cost more at launch. Maybe I’ll buy it for spring 2025 if it’s still available, because I’ve always wanted to wear it. An EDT that works.

  • Anyone who thinks this smells like Invictus should go to the doctor to check their nose… this has nothing to do with it. I hate Invictus not because of the smell, but because it’s so mass-produced and you smell it in every corner; Wanted is less used and smells much better, lasting and projecting double. For me, it’s one of the most underrated perfumes on the market; for the price, you can’t find anything that lasts, projects, and gets as many compliments. Is it synthetic? Yes, so what are you waiting for at this price? Without a doubt, it’s one of my favorites, versatile, affordable, and my wife’s favorite among a collection of Creed, PdM, Xerjoff, BDK, and TF. A safe buy.

  • This is my favorite perfume; it’s the one that gets me the most compliments. It’s quite long-lasting and fresh. I have a special affection for it because smelling it reminds me of my trip to Cuba. It’s good for warm days, though I wear it on any occasion because I just love it.

  • When I bought it, I was disappointed by its performance, which felt weak on my skin. I insist, I ‘felt’ it, because I know every skin is different, and indeed, it didn’t perform like that for me. After wearing it sparingly for months, this December (where I live, it’s not that cold), it earned a spot in my memory. For example: two days ago, I sprayed two sprays on each arm at 6 PM. Hours later, the scent of sweetness and shine, slightly herbal, acted normally and softened its character. By early morning, bringing my nose close, I felt it very soft but PRESENT. Before sleeping, a final sniff: non-shouting ginger, shiny, and clinging to the skin. The next day, all day long, I found that just right sweetness right where I applied it. At 24 hours, when I showered, the ginger emerged with a power and brilliance I can’t believe. It definitely gets along well with my skin and is the culprit of my infatuation with that energizing ingredient. Batch 2024.

  • Super fruity, sweet, and delicious. Not for extreme heat; it works better in spring. Despite being sweet, it still feels like a masculine vibe. It feels like an Invictus but less synthetic and richer. Excellent longevity and projection. Recommended.

  • This gem has magic for women, I swear. For some reason, this fragrance makes them feel very intense. Recommended for any occasion; here’s my personal advice: wear it to create intimacy and tell me how it goes. You’ll thank me.

  • AlonsoOlivera

It’s beautiful; I prefer it to Most Wanted. Super spicy citrus opening with that hot ginger, yet woody. I suggest it for informal situations and climates up to 28 degrees.

  • I tried it and it was marvelous; I love this DNA and couldn’t help but say ‘so good.’ I think it’s the ideal perfume for winter or cold climates, avoiding extremes.

  • The most potent EDT I own, an underrated gem. Fresh with a sweet, fruity touch; perfect for afternoons, nights, or parties. It radiates the youthful vibe of someone active and fun. It doesn’t smell like Invictus, but it serves the same purpose with a similar style. You get way more than you pay for. Totally masculine. The only flaw: it can get tiring over time since it’s very linear. Still recommended.

  • I like all the perfumes in the Wanted collection, including this one, but honestly, I was disappointed because it lacks the punch of the other versions and feels more like an introduction to the base Azzaro offers in the Wanted line. Being an EDT, it doesn’t last long, at least not on my skin or on the store tissue. The good news is it can be used in almost any situation, except climates over 30 degrees. In conclusion: it’s a pleasant, sweet, subtle, and versatile aroma. However, I wouldn’t lean towards buying it due to the price-to-longevity ratio. I’d prefer a more modern version with better sillage.

I still can’t explain why it took me so long to buy it. It’s a brutal perfume, worth every penny. It has a fresh and sweet opening, a perfect balance. That combination of ginger and lavender in the top notes makes anyone who passes by stop and wonder if you’re the one smelling so good. In the heart, the apple, cardamomo, and juniper notes maintain that fresh balance, even a bit elegant. By the base, the tonka bean and ambered woody notes are a delight. It holds up very well in all four seasons and almost any temperature, something similar (though not identical) to the YSL EDT. Recommended in every sense of the word.

  • Josué Alán Barrón Terán

I can’t quite describe it; it smells like pineapple, sweet but rich fruit. Longevity is fantastic! It lasts me more than 8 hours. The best part is I got it at an excellent price. Very satisfied, I recommend it for nights or mild days, just be careful with the sprays.

  • EmiWorsnop

Am I the only one who smells it exactly like Wanted by Night when I walk out? By the way, it’s very tasty, youthful, fresh, spicy, and it lasts way too long on clothes, about 10 hours.

  • A bit influenced by the saying ‘don’t wear sweet-based perfumes in summer,’ I’ve barely used it in the heat, but I’ve noticed it really shines on mild summer evenings and nights. It’s a perfume made to please. It leans youthful, but I don’t see why a 40-year-old man in casual summer attire couldn’t pull it off. It’s quite versatile, though overusing it in enclosed spaces can be overwhelming. The spray is very generous. Good longevity, about seven hours, which is surprising for a vintage fragrance. Everyone loves it. I used to wear Invictus for years (went through three or four bottles), and this is nothing like it. I won’t be buying it again when I run out, but I’ll enjoy it while it lasts.

  • LauraEggers

From the very first moment, it smells light and fresh. Over time, warm notes emerge, adding depth without losing its softness. Perfect for special occasions or everyday wear.

  • It’s a steal for the price. Smells better than expensive perfumes, with an amazing fresh opening that lasts for hours. It’s versatile: use a little for daily wear, or go heavy for a night out to make sure people notice. It smells clean and fresh, then the apple note kicks in and lingers. You can definitely smell the Invictus resemblance after about 9 hours when the dry-down is similar.

  • Azzaro Wanted strikes a perfect balance between charisma and elegance. From the first spray, a spiced freshness evolves into a seductive, warm woody trail. While many compare it to Invictus, this isn’t a copy—it has its own identity. On my skin, it projects an optimistic, modern energy. The longevity and projection are excellent; it leaves a mark. It’s a scent I genuinely enjoy and always makes me smile.

  • Juan Pablo Melgoza Maldon

Azzaro Wanted is underrated and overshadowed by The Most Wanted. It’s a great perfume that reminds me of the Invictus DNA, with that sweet, bubblegum-like vibe that makes it youthful, approachable, and easy to wear. It’s not a clone, but it is inspired by one. The opening is fresh and citrusy, sharp with lemon and ginger that initially overpower the lavender and mint. The apple note smells different here; combined with cardamom and tonka bean, it creates that distinct bubblegum sweetness. It’s very informal—ideal for hanging out with friends, dining out, or weekends. I don’t think it’s ideal for work since it can strip away formality. It works well in spring and autumn for any time of day, but in summer or at the beach, the sweetness might not be the best choice; in those cases, I’d save it for evening or late afternoon. Given the price, quality, and performance, I’d buy it again without hesitation to have a scent you just apply without thinking to smell good.

  • Many people say it has nothing to do with Invictus, but for me, who hasn’t worn it in three years, it sounds exactly the same. I tried it yesterday and my partner said, “That’s Invictus!” and he was right. If you smell both together, you’ll notice the differences, but for normal people walking by, they’ll think you’re wearing Invictus.

  • I’ve had this perfume since the pandemic; I took it on vacation to Granada, the beach, and tourist spots, and I loved its performance so much that whenever I smell it, I’m transported back to those dates. I bought it after seeing an ad featuring the revolver drum-shaped bottle. As an Eau de Toilette, it has good sillage for the first 2-3 hours and lasts about 5-6 hours, maybe more if you also apply it on clothes. It’s fresh and pleasant, becoming soft with sweet notes that occasionally peek through. My partner, who is a woman, loves it when I wear it, but I think a woman could wear it too if she has the character for it.

  • emporioblanko

Impressive; it’s the longest-lasting in the whole line and smells great: fresh, apple, spectacular. The best of the entire Azzaro line.

  • I ordered Azzaro The Most Wanted Intense and this arrived instead, but I didn’t return it: it smells deliciously fresh. You press the top and a bunch of fruits comes out, not too sweet, with acidity like apple, melon, strawberry, or watermelon. Cardamom and ginger create a hypnotic dance, perfectly matched with that mint to create a clean, natural ensemble, not synthetic like ambroxan. Then comes amber and vanilla to add depth, a vanilla identical to SWY. This is neither the fire nor the wheel, but a fragrance as it should be: natural, balanced, and with personality. Wear it during the day, because this is like the sun’s rays.

  • Excellent, a rich aroma, and to my surprise, it lasted a long time. My favorite in the line so far. A luxury.

  • Wear it day or night; it stands out either way. A classic from Azzaro that never goes out of style thanks to such a pleasant scent. Highly recommended purchase.

  • I like that it smells clean and warm at the same time. I wear it day and night, and it lasts quite a while, about 8-9 hours. If you’re very active daily, it will work great for you. I’ll keep using it on days with lots of movement to stay fresh all the time.

  • I had been postponing this purchase for years because I always fell for the latest hype, like a sheep smelling the new stuff and delaying what I actually wanted. After stopping the herd mentality and prioritizing my own tastes, I bought this Wanted EDT and was left speechless: an absolute delight! It’s not the newest or a niche luxury, but it’s incredibly pleasant with unbeatable performance. The opening is citrusy, spicy, fruity, with a perfect menthol kick. As it dries down, it leaves the citrus behind to become fruity, fresh, and sweetly ambered, without being heavy. It reminds me of Invictus, has nuances of Stronger With You, and even notes of Acqua di Giò, but without copying; instead, it gathers the best of several best-sellers with its own touch. The bottle is beautiful and it’s a BEAST on my skin: over 8 hours of longevity, strong for the first 4-5 hours. Many people ask if I smell good, and several women have asked for the name to gift it. I don’t see it as unisex, but who knows.

  • Finally bought my first Azzaro Wanted EDT. It’s spicy with an apple note that ties the whole fragrance together, plus a touch of ginger that makes it sparkling; it’s a scent I love wearing. I bought it at 19 and expected something younger, but for 25+, it’s your perfect signature: serious, without excessive sweetness. As an EDT, it lasts about 6-7 hours, projects for 1.5 hours, then settles close to the skin, ideal for indoors. Versatile for daytime, avoid it at night due to lack of weight. If you have to choose between this and Wanted by Night, go with the Night version; it’s more modern and enjoyable. Thanks for reading.

  • Perfect for everyday wear. It’s not that perfume screaming ‘wow’ or smelling bad, but something perfectly balanced. Smells like ginger with amber, and for the price, it’s a sensible buy.
