Where’s the honey?? 🤷🤷😮💨😮💨😮💨 This line, which was once wonderful, has been totally ruined…
The simplest thing I’ve seen in perfumery. Creamy flowers with vanilla, and that’s it. It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s not special either. Very generic. Incredible that they’d dare launch an aroma like this. Only for gifting to someone who has no idea about perfumes.
I love vanillas, and this is an absolute gem: indulgent, deep, and super special. It felt amazing—creamy and incredibly enveloping. It’s already in my top five. 🫶🏻😊 If someone gifts it to me, I don’t mind them thinking I know nothing about perfumes. 😘
Not much to say. Does it smell good? Yes. Is it intense? No. Does it smell like ylang and cardamom? Not even close. It’s just a creamy vanilla. I don’t recommend it.
It didn’t smell bad, it’s totally different from the original, but it didn’t stand out for me. It wasn’t as seductive as Le Parfum, which I loved at first sniff. Despite smelling good, it doesn’t stand out.
The opening takes me to vanilla-almond, I suppose it’s the mix of the yellow floral and vanilla (hence why they remind me of GG Blush). It’s creamy, but the vanilla is that kind of ambient air freshener type—very sweet and a bit cloying. I don’t notice any spicy nuances. Nothing like the Scandal line, nothing new. It seems like an expensive perfume for such a basic and linear scent, which even reminds me a lot of the Arabic Montaigne Coco by Maison Alhambra.
The opening smells of vanilla almonds, probably due to the yellow floral and vanilla mix (hence the similarity to GG Blush). It’s creamy, but the vanilla is like artificial room scent, very sweet and cloying. I don’t perceive any spicy nuance. Nothing to do with the Scandal line, nothing new. It seems expensive for such a basic and linear aroma, which even reminds me of Maison Alhambra’s Montaigne Coco.
It lacks the Scandal DNA (where’s the honey?), and nothing of Intense. The opening is good but nothing spectacular, with barely any trail, and after two hours, you can’t even smell it close to the skin. The price-to-quality ratio is ridiculously high; there are Zara perfumes that last longer.
I only noticed the three listed notes. It captivated me in minutes: a vanilla-scented aroma with semi-summery touches thanks to ylang-ylang and a hint of racine de peau (almost imperceptible), plus cardamom. I recommend it to those who hated the honey in the original Scandal or its other flankers, which reminded me of pharmacy propolis. That’s why I only keep So Scandal and this masterpiece, Intense.
It starts mentholated, like toothpaste on paper, but after 5 minutes, it smells sweet, like thick golden honey. Super addictive and sexy, ideal for cool nights and turning heads. I like it more than Absolu and Le Parfum (except for that weird opening). Skin edition: it has 4 stages. 1) Strong mentholated opening. 2) Stays strong and adds that raw egg note from Divine Gaultier plus juicy coconut. 3) Ends up delicious, sweet, and creamy. 4) Conclusion: I won’t buy it, but the quality is good; if you tolerate the opening, you’ll surely like it if you enjoy intense sweetness.
I can smell all three described notes, no more, no less. It captivated me quickly: vanilla with semi-summer touches from the Ylang Ylang and skin, plus a spicy cardamomo hint. I recommend it to those who hated the honey in the original or its other flankers, which reminded me of pharmacy propolis. Today, I only keep So Scandal and this wonder, Intense.
It comes out smelling mentholated, like toothpaste, at least on paper 🤷🏻♀️. After 5 minutes, the sweetness kicks in (for me, a thick, golden honey). Super addictive and sexy. Ideal for cool nights and to get people looking. I think I like it more than Absolu and Le Parfum (except for that weird opening). I should test it on skin. Edit after testing: I detect three stages: 1) Strong, mentholated opening, similar to Absolu. 2) Stays strong and adds that raw egg note from Divine by Gaultier 🙁 plus juicy tropical coconut. 3) Settles into something rich, sweet, creamy, and interesting—nothing repetitive. 4) Conclusion: I won’t buy it, but the quality is good; if you can tolerate the opening, you’ll likely love it if you enjoy intense sweetness.
It smells like honey and milk body gel and chamomile shampoo for blondes. It’s rich, a bit generic, and very relaxing, like just stepping out of the shower. Simple and linear. Although it’s not my favorite, I have to admit that perfumes like this exist.
Honestly, this new flanker is very different from the original Scandal. It’s a fairly linear fragrance, just like the listed notes, with no great evolution. The ylang-ylang takes center stage, wrapped in a vanilla that adds sweetness but isn’t quite gourmand to me. I don’t think the performance in trail and longevity is bad.
This new flanker is very different from the original. It’s quite linear, just like the listed notes, with little evolution. The Ylang Ylang rules everything wrapped in sweet vanilla, but it doesn’t seem gourmand to me. The trail and longevity are not bad.
It sounds unisex to me, but I don’t like the cardamomo. I prefer the classic or Le Parfum. Also, the box should be the same color as the bottle, which is gorgeous.
On my skin, it’s sweet and warm, fresher than the Absolu version thanks to the Ylang Ylang, which even smells like mint at first. It looks luminous and tropical, but eventually, it becomes overwhelming. It has that Scandal line sweetness, but lacks the contrast I need to enjoy it for hours. It’s not bad, but on my skin, it becomes persistent and just doesn’t fit.
I tried it in-store and fell in love; it’s worth it. I’m just waiting to see how long it lasts on my skin and its projection, but ultimately, I adore it.
