To me, it’s very strong, I washed my hand with soap where I tested it and it won’t go away. The scent seems very synthetic and masculine to me. It reminds me of Scandal for men, I don’t know… I don’t like it. It’s more of the same. Also, the bottle is the same as Fleur Terrible. It seems they only changed the name and took advantage of the bottle and the scent, which smells the same. Meh.
To me, it smells like Fleur Terrible (less aquatic) but with the salty touch of Divine. I liked the original much more… It passed.
I love it🪷💎Although the bottle is the same as the previous one, they smell different. Paradise Garden smells like lotus flower with a creamy finish. The scent is simple but pretty. The trail is great and it doesn’t seem like you sprayed much perfume because of that natural finish. Lasts 6 to 7 hours. Fleur Terrible, on the other hand, is more aquatic and has a fig touch. I wasn’t convinced by the old one, but this new one really excites me and I already have it in my collection
What a shame, if they had relaunched the second edition of the ‘Terrible’ by Puig, it would have been a hit. I searched for months for an affordable version and found nothing. Seeing that YouTubers said it was the same, I bought it blindly and was wrong. The original ‘Fleur Terrible’ was creamier, fresher, and better balanced (I guess its novelty and the summer helped), though it wasn’t worth its price. ‘Paradise Garden’ is salty, with an alcoholic opening, no coconut but an almond nuance for the first 5 minutes. Eventually, it turns synthetic and smells like something we know… but wrong. Flanker flankers always disappoint… 😟😞
I’m not an expert on notes and don’t know how many smell, in this case, lotus flower is a 😅. To me, Belle Paradise Garden seems like a cocktail of tropical fruits with a salty opening that dries out very powdery. I don’t detect vanilla, mostly iris. It’s not fresh; in my opinion, it’s dense and I’d wear it at night. It’s different from current designer proposals which are usually gourmands; it’s not for everyone’s taste, seeming like a turn toward niche with less common scents. It reminds me of Carmina by Creed in its dry down. Longevity is very good, about 6-7 hours potent, then drops to skin scent and lingers until the next day. I like the roll-on format JPG perfumes are adopting now.
Do you see this as very feminine or more unisex?
It’s unequivocally exotic and tropical, standing out and catching attention. But for me, every JPG I’ve tried has something in its DNA that disturbs me; they become an opulent hell that overwhelms, and this is no exception. But if I had to choose one from all the JPGs I’ve tried, it would be this one. Edit: I smelled it again and… it smells like black olives (WTF).
I just bought it after trying it for a few days. It’s a lovely perfume for spring, summer, and even hot nights while having a cocktail at a chill-out 🍙 As I said before, I’m not an expert; just my experience. It seems sweet without being suffocating and at the same time aquatic and a little tropical. I sense a coconut note that isn’t listed. Longevity is quite good; on my skin, about 8 hours or more. As for sillage, I’m not sure since I only wear it on my hand, but I definitely feel it all the time with a spray. I love it because I can’t stop smelling myself lol. Regarding monkeyluffy’s comment, I see it as unisex, but more feminine, though my husband or any man could wear it perfectly 🥰 Hope this helps. A kiss and greetings ♥️♥️🤗
Amazing! In the tester, I felt a super fresh opening, slightly powdery and sweet, not vanilla, a bit fruity, and I detected coconut. It reminds me of a slightly sweet, not too acidic lime, followed by the floral note. I bought it fascinated; it was still detectable after more than 8 hours with moderate but noticeable sillage. Perfect for spring and summer daytime, though it works well in hot nights too. Edit: the longevity is surprising; it soaks into clothes and lasts even after washing. I thought it would be soft, but it has high sillage; if you overdo it, it becomes overwhelming. Keep that in mind.
To be honest, it disappointed me. It smells heavy, and that vanilla, which I usually love, felt tiring and synthetic. It smells cheap, overly sweet, and plasticky.
I didn’t like it. I tried it in-store and expected more tropical accords; instead, it felt like a sweet, vanilla-infused fruity scent, unisex, without evoking any paradisiacal memories.
They gifted it to me for my birthday; the giver was looking for something fresh, sweet, and elegant. I think it hits that spot, though it feels a bit denser than a typical fresh scent due to the iris. I detect some coconut; it reminds me of La Vie Est Belle Soleil Cristal but with a more laboratory-like coconut—elegant and not artificial like the one in Brumes. On my skin, it’s a bit weak, maybe due to an allergy, but I definitely notice the iris and that tropical touch. It’s not one of my favorite JPGs, but it’s great for days when you don’t want the typical citrus.
Hi, is this the same as the terrible Belle Fleur but with a different name? I had my doubts, thanks for clarifying.
I tried it in-store: opening with coconut and a sweet, makeup-like touch; after 40 minutes, it transformed into that fresh, masculine cologne my dad used, lasting over 5 hours. It might smell different to others, but ultimately it’s a matter of taste. For now, I’m not choosing it.
Aquatic notes that instantly transport me to a pool day, and when it fades, it leaves behind a very subtle sweetness.
Hi! I find this perfume almost identical to La Belle EDP. Maybe at first it seems lighter and more aquatic, but then I feel it’s like a twin brother, just a bit calmer.
I’d been wanting a JPG for a while, but the ones I tried just didn’t convince me, until this one was love at first sight. It has that typical Jean Paul sweetness, but the lotus flower gives it a watery, fresh touch that balances the vanilla (which luckily isn’t very noticeable; I get tired of it in all perfumes these days). I find it odd that it lists only three notes; I sense it’s more complex and fruity. In summary, I like it, it has good sillage and longevity, I wouldn’t wear it much in summer, but rather in autumn or winter.
Literally the nerfed version of Fleur Terrible. It’s almost the same, but without the longevity and projection of its older brother. What a shame they discontinued the original to release an identical one that’s just more diluted, softer, and poor in performance…
My favorite aquatic and tropical…💕 I don’t understand the reviews… I found one saying it was similar to La Belle, God, nothing in common, not in the opening, not in the development… NOTHING. Anyway, I don’t need to understand it or get frustrated. Its projection is very potent, maybe one of the strongest atomizers I have. Fresh and summery, for hot days or spring days, or an informal outing with friends. The longevity is very long, on my skin it lasts until the next day, and on clothes until I wash them again. It was love at first sight, since I tested it in the perfumery, I loved it, I never even glanced at it until my brother (who has the Le Beau Garden) recommended it to me, besides ensuring it was very good, he also wanted to match with me, having the Paradise Garden collection. A purchase totally worth it, youthful and not intoxicating, but also not too soft, right in that perfect middle point. Feminine and floral, it reminds me of breezy days with a sunny sky, those that form rainbows. The iris is undoubtedly what my nose notices the most. I would buy it again without any doubt, 10/10. (❁´◡`❁)
My favorite aquatic and tropical scent…💕 I don’t understand all the complaints… They said it was similar to La Belle, but that’s a lie; not even in the opening or anything. But I don’t care. The projection is brutal, one of the strongest sprays I own. Fresh and summery, ideal for heat or hanging out with friends. The longevity is eternal, on my skin until the next day and on clothes until I wash them. Love at first sight, recommended by my brother who owns Le Beau Garden and wanted to match it with my Paradise Garden collection. A purchase worth it, youthful and perfectly balanced between strong and soft. Feminine and floral, it reminds me of breezy days and rainbows. You can definitely smell the iris. I’d buy it again, 10/10.
I didn’t like it at all; it smells sweet but also like fruit kept in a Tupperware container, it doesn’t last long, and it gives me headaches. Simply not for me.
It delivers on being fresh and has that watery touch, but it doesn’t project and disappears quickly. It’s too soft. For fresh perfumes, there are other options on the market with better projection and longevity.
Love at first sight. It’s sweet, perfect for the office without being cloying to anyone; on my skin it lasts forever, although unfortunately the sillage is very poor. I just love it. 🩷
It feels watery and fresh with that super elegant talc-infused iris base! The day I tested it, June 2nd in Mexico, there were tons of people at the polls, and strangers told me I smelled like delicious flowers. I’m so happy with this purchase! Plus, the bottle and packaging are gorgeous. I’ll be buying it again!
Ultra-feminine floral.
I tried the sample and it just doesn’t work for me; it smells overly sweet and cloying, and you have to use it very sparingly so as not to bother people nearby. It reminds me of those cheap floral perfumes from the 90s that twenty-something girls used, almost like strawberry bubblegum.
Delicious, a bit dense, a summer night scent. It’s floral, creamy, and sweet in just the right measure. Simply delicious; generally, I don’t like vanilla perfumes, but this is the exception. I did detect the coconut note, even though it’s not listed; it smells like Hawaiian Tropic sunscreens but more refined. I’m in love. It lasted all day on my skin and on clothes until I washed them. JPG never lets you down 🌱
It seems very synthetic; the vanilla is barely noticeable at first, it doesn’t feel elegant to me, and it reminds me of a cheap perfume.
It doesn’t speak to me; it’s not fruity enough, and I don’t detect the iris or the vanilla. Based on the notes, I should have liked it, but it’s a Meh… my version that beats it is Light Blue Dreaming in Portofino, unfortunately discontinued.
I bought it blindly based on the comments and it didn’t disappoint me! I have to clarify that the opening of the fragrance doesn’t really grab me, there I realized I’m not a huge fan of Lotus, but afterwards when it settles, it’s exquisite, it lasts a lot of hours on skin and even more on clothes!
Man’s opinion: it combines sweetness and freshness perfectly, with that floral touch that suits it just right. The vanilla is subtle. It’s for summer, for women that men love, almost a must-have in any collection.
A man’s opinion: This perfume combines sweet notes with freshness very well and has that floral touch that fits perfectly, and the vanilla is quite subtle, a summer perfume for women that men like, one could consider such a perfume to be a basic in a collection
I bought it blindly based on reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The opening doesn’t grab me much; I realized I’m not a lotus fan, but once it settles, it’s exquisite. It lasts for hours on my skin and even longer on clothes.
It smells absolutely delicious, one of the few iris scents I love that isn’t overwhelming. I wish I could see a woman wearing it. It’s fresh, summery, floral, and elegant, like a beachside forest. It’s one of my favorite feminine scents. As a man, my only issue is the price: $100 for 50ml is way too expensive compared to other JPGs.
It smells delicious, one of the few fragrances with iris that I genuinely like and doesn’t feel invasive. I wish I knew a woman who wore this perfume. It’s fresh, summery, floral, and at the same time elegant, it’s like a beach next to a forest, one of my favorite female fragrances. That’s at least my opinion as a man. The only problem is the price, $100 for 50ml is too expensive compared to others from JPG.
Am I the only one who smelled pear at the start? I like it a lot, but it’s not my favorite.
Creamy vanilla with fresh floral notes. It evolves into something both fresh and sweet. It has good sillage and unknown longevity. It’s unique, nothing like anything else. Worth it a thousand times over. At first, it reminds me of Divine due to its watery and sweet vibe, but later the flowers take over with a pleasant earthy iris. Smells like a beach sunset.
It smells rich and very watery. I haven’t tried the men’s version, but Le Beau Le Parfum Male definitely shares its DNA. I prefer Le Beau Le Parfum: it’s unisex, more intense, exotic, and herbal. This one is more watery and diluted, à la Hermes.
It’s sweet with a watery touch and a brutal violet. As it dries, it smells like Divide but with maxed-out violet; if you have too much of it, it becomes redundant. For gourmand, choose Divine; for fresh and tropical, go with Paradise. Obviously, they don’t list every note here.
