I tried it at a department store: the longevity is impeccable, the scent is sweet without reaching vulgar limits. It’s pleasant and youthful. It will definitely be joining my collection soon.
I tried it when buying the Prada Candy L’eau and it even made me hesitate between the two. It’s different from the other Prada Candy fragrances, breaking away from the sweetness to offer a much fresher vibe thanks to the fully perceptible limoncello. It’s a fantastic perfume for spring and summer, cheerful and fresh with a flirtatious touch—the kind you enjoy wearing. I definitely ended up wishing I’d bought it 🙂
This EDT is now part of my collection. It smells like fresh flowers, and with the caramel and honey, it’s sweet without being cloying. Its older sister, the EDP, is also delicious but sweeter; this summer season, I prefer the EDT version and recommend it. A wonderful combination of all the notes, cheerful and fresh… it’s Prada. I love it!
A graceless floral; I expected much more from Prada Candy Florale. It reminds me a lot of Lolita Lempicka’s Elle L’Aimé, even though they don’t share notes. What stands out most is the limoncello and peony; I don’t sense any caramel or honey.
Nope, it doesn’t resemble my beloved Candy at all. I was hoping for something similar to the original but more summery, but I ended up with a very generic floral. The caramel and honey are almost imperceptible.
This is my second take: it doesn’t resemble the original much, which takes off some points. BUT it deserves credit. Even though it looks like an innocent little juice (like L’eau), it has great longevity and projection. I tried it this afternoon (on my blouse and hair) and got several compliments. Plus, it worked like a charm in this heat. It’s fresh and consistent. To me, it’s a fresh floral; since I’m not drawn to florals, my nose gets lazy identifying details. When it dries down, I might notice the limoncello, but only because I know it’s there; if I didn’t, I’d say it’s just citrus. In short: I’ll think about it, could be a great summer option. For now, I’m enjoying my miniature.
Nothing like the original Candy; it lasts shorter on my skin and isn’t really my style. If you love florals, you’ll probably adore it, but I’m sticking with the original Candy.
When I sprayed it on my wrists, the limoncello aroma intoxicated me, but it’s a mature limoncello, not acidic; after a minute, it loses intensity to give way to peony and caramel. I slightly detect benzoin and honey, but it’s not overwhelming. After half an hour, all components balance out and musk appears, accompanying the whole. I liked it a lot, although on my skin it doesn’t last much; I have to reapply several times a day.
The moment I rubbed it on my wrists, I was hit by a mature limoncello—smooth, not sour. Within a minute, the intensity softens to make way for peony and caramel. You can detect the benzoin and honey, but nothing overpowers the others. After half an hour, everything balances out and the musk emerges, rounding off the whole composition. I absolutely loved it, though on my skin it doesn’t last long at all, so I have to reapply it several times a day.
A floral explosion with a citrus touch (I guess limoncello), and at the base, caramel and its sweetness! I LOVED IT! I still don’t know the longevity, but my first impression is a huge recommendation. After wearing it all day, I confirm it lasts several hours; after more than 10 hours, you can still smell it, though not the citrus anymore, but a sweet floral aroma. I recommend it a lot, it’s very spring/summer! I’d use it daily, but in my country, Argentina, Prada isn’t available, so I have to treat it like gold.
A floral explosion! With a citrus hint (I calculated it’s the limoncello note), and deep down you can feel the caramel and its sweetness. I LOVED IT! I still don’t know its exact longevity, but from the first impression, I highly recommend it. Edition 10/03/2017. After using it all day, I can confirm I still hold what I said. The fragrance lasts several hours on the skin; you can pass more than 10 hours and it’s still detectable, but at that point, the citrus I described above is gone, leaving a sweet floral aroma. I recommend it highly, a very spring/summer perfume. I’d use it daily, but in my country, Argentina, Prada isn’t available, so I have to treat it like gold 🙁
It’s a flanker of Candy EDP that bears no resemblance to the original. Candy Florale is totally floral, as the name suggests, with citrus notes. It’s a pretty, simple, and easy-to-wear perfume, perfect for hot weather.
Another Candy EDP flanker that has zero trace of that version. Candy Florale is totally floral as the name suggests, with citrus touches. It’s a beautiful, simple, easy-to-use perfume, perfect for the heat.
Don’t get mad, but to me, it smells like hairspray—specifically Nelly—after about 15 minutes. The floral notes are there, but very faint. After a while, there’s nothing left to say: poor quality and an unjustified price.
Don’t get mad, but to me it smells like hairspray, specifically Nelly, after an hour and a half. I sense the flowers, but very lightly; after a while, there’s nothing left. Poor quality for the price.
I feel like I’m holding a bouquet of peonies; it smells like flowers and flowers, very spring-like.
It opens with peony, and after half an hour, limoncello joins in. It’s floral, soft, sweet, cheerful, and fresh for spring and summer. It lasts about four hours and then it’s just skin scent. I see it for women aged 20 to 50.
I love it. It’s super floral and fresh. On my skin, the peony dominates almost the entire time. Perfect for summer, very clean. At the end, there’s a base that reminds me of the original Candy, I think it’s the coconut. It feels very feminine and perfect for everyday wear, especially if you don’t like citrus in the summer.
I really like this flanker: it’s different from the other Candy siblings but keeps their essence. It’s floral, slightly sweet, not cloying (despite the caramel note), and super dynamic—ideal for spring and summer. The only thing missing is longevity: usually they last longer on me, but this one barely lingers after 4-5 hours, smelling like skin, so I have to reapply.
Prada Candy Florale… I never thought I would like and love a fragrance as much as this one. In my opinion, I was more into gourmand scents and ended up with something quite floral. I discovered this perfume while looking for its sibling, Prada Candy; the person who attended to me at the perfumery was kind, explained the notes, then sprayed it on my wrist. It was strange, it wasn’t a fragrance I particularly liked, and that’s when she suggested its flanker, Prada Candy Florale, thinking it would suit me better, and she couldn’t have been more right. On my skin, the first thing you feel is a fairly citrusy limoncello that disappears quite quickly, and then only the peony aroma remains and endures, as if I were walking past a florist full of those flowers. After a few hours (approx. 4 hours later), the honey aroma remains; I don’t sense any caramel, but with the honey, the sweetness of this fragrance is well-balanced, which ultimately feels a bit weaker but not cloying. I’ve seen quite a few reviews of “the top 10 women’s perfumes/fragrances men love,” and none feature a floral fragrance as much as this one, but I swear all my male friends when they smell or feel my perfume, the only thing they receive is compliments; my best friend always tells me I smell delicious and loves this scent. I LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE! I already have my second bottle and I think I’ll keep buying it for a long time.
Prada Candy Florale… I never thought I’d love this fragrance so much. I was looking for the original, and the very kind saleswoman tested Candy on me first—I didn’t like it—so she suggested this flanker and nailed it 100%. On my skin, it starts with a quick citrus burst of limoncello, leaving peonies that make me feel like I’m in a florist shop. After four hours, honey takes over, without the caramel, balancing the sweetness without being cloying. Even though it’s not on the usual men’s favorite lists, my male friends keep giving me compliments. I LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE; I already have a second bottle and I’ll keep buying.
I love it. It starts sweet and citrusy, like opening a fizzy lemonade that gently blends with peony under a ray of sunshine. Then comes milky caramel with a hint of honey, closing in a super soft, wearable sweet floral.
