It’s a pure, intense, and cloying maraschino cherry. The trail and longevity are high, so if you’re not a fan of ripe cherries, skip it. Because it’s so potent, it feels a bit synthetic, almost like a liqueur. In the dry down, the cherry and almond dominate. It’s a very special perfume; don’t buy it blindly. I’ll try it in winter to see if the cherry feels softer and less artificial on me.
It’s the best cherry perfume I’ve ever tried! The combination is perfect. It’s not cloying or overly bitter. The cherry doesn’t smell as artificial as in others, and it has a fascinating boozy touch from a hidden note. Very sensual, feminine, and addictive.
Prada Candy Gloss brings me back to cherry lollipops and gum from my childhood. I smell the cherry, but as if it were in syrup. Here, the cherry is the star; the vanilla and almond are very shy. It’s sweet but not cloying. If you want to smell pure cherry, this is your perfume. I like it, but it’s not my style; I see it as very youthful and cheerful for daily wear. In autumn and spring, it lasts about 8 hours with moderate sillage. I gave it several chances and… I just can’t handle it. I find it very synthetic, artificial, sweet, and fruity. I like smelling it on someone else, but not on myself. Scent 8/10, longevity 9/10, sillage 8/10, packaging 7/10, versatility 10/10, value for money 9/10. Would I buy it? NO.
This perfume reminds me of cherry candies from my childhood. You can feel the cherry note; it’s nothing medicinal or like cough syrup. It’s the perfume Barbie would wear. It’s pink, very feminine, innocent, not heavy at all, and very sweet. It also smells like opening a giant plastic doll from the 80s and 90s, that specific scent. A smell for a young girl. Nothing groundbreaking, but if you want a young, juicy, sweet cherry scent that isn’t cloying, this might work for you. However, the cherry note can be tricky, so I don’t recommend buying it blindly.
If it’s not the perfume I’ve given the most chances to… it’s horrible for me. When I spray it, I get hit with a strong alcohol blast that reminds me almost of Chinese nail polish, and once it dries, I have to imagine the scent. I don’t understand anything.
I love all the Prada Candy flankers, especially Prada Candy Gloss. It’s a cheerful, sweet, flirty, and simple scent. Sweet without being cloying, very versatile and timeless for me. On my skin, the cherry is the star, accompanied by peach and almond. The vanilla is shyly in the base, blended with musk, making it a friendly and wearable gourmand. It has a longevity of 5 to 6 hours with moderate sillage and projection. Of course, keep in mind that I spray my perfumes without guilt.
Olfactory diabetes, but bad. My pH is sweet, so it feels much sweeter on me. I made the mistake of wearing it on a hot day, and now I get dizzy smelling it. Headache and nausea. Regarding the perfume, it’s rich and pleasant if you like very sweet scents. It lasts a long time at least on me, but don’t buy it blindly or you might end up hating it.
I’m head over heels for this fragrance… I love its maraschino cherry vibe. The only downside is the longevity on my skin, but it’s still one of my favorites. 🍒🤎
I’m in love with this fragrance. I adore its maraschino cherry vibe. The only downside is the longevity on my skin, though it remains one of my favorites.
The truth is, I had been looking for a 100% sweet perfume for a long time, since most sweet scents have a citrusy touch. I loved it; as soon as I smelled it on my skin, I felt like eating cotton candy. The scent feels too edible. As for longevity, it’s moderate. The only bad thing is its high price. Luckily for me, I bought it blind at half price.
Honestly, I’d been searching for a 100% sweet perfume for a while, since most sweet scents have a citrusy touch. I fell in love with it; the moment I put it on my skin, I felt an urge to eat cotton candy. The scent feels incredibly edible. Longevity is moderate. The only downside is the high price. Luckily, I bought it blind at half price for the online store.
Oh, I’ve fought with and reconciled with this perfume several times. It’s a special scent, a sweet cherry but quite natural, not overly sugary or artificial. It has vanilla and almond that give it a mature character for a woman, avoiding an infantile vibe. Every note is indispensable for its balance. The gloss comes at the end as a detail, making it cheerful and tender without losing elegance, very worthy of being Prada. The notes appear one by one like a feminine journey, tender, sweet, and fresh, with the touch of orange blossom. It sends a message of softness and tenderness without being childish; even an older person can wear it perfectly. I think that makes it special and well-made. It’s as if it couldn’t be more feminine. For me, it’s the best achieved in the Candy line. On cool autumn, spring, or summer nights, when a breeze passes through and my perfume flies, I feel great. I love it more every day.
Oh, I’ve fought with and made up with this perfume several times. It’s a special scent, I’d say yes. It’s a sweet cherry note but quite natural, not overly sugary or artificial. The vanilla and almond add maturity to a scent that could easily be childish without them, yet it doesn’t feel that way. Every note is indispensable for its balance. It’s a super fruity fragrance; the cherry really stands out. It’s perfect for spring days, I’d give it a 9/10.
Pure acidic cherry opening with a touch of talc. Lasts about 4-5 hours and the price in my country is amazing. It’s become an addiction; I just love that cherry scent. 😍
When I was little, I had an acidic cherry gum, and this Prada Candy Gloss smells just like it: acidic cherry with a hint of talc. It’s the mischievous little sister of the Candy line. If you like the smell of cherry, this perfume is a must, but watch out—it’s not a sweet cherry.
Out of all the Prada Candy flankers, this Candy Gloss is my favorite because I feel it’s better crafted and more structured. Cheerful, sweet, flirty, simple, nothing intrusive or invasive, and informal. What I perceive most is the cherry, peach, and almond. A few days ago I gifted it to a coworker and I’m delighted she loved it (the $80 was totally worth it).

Really delicious, sweet, and fruity, but on me it smells like guava, so I don’t buy it; it seems weird to me, it doesn’t fit my age. I tested it on a girl under 15 who hasn’t really started into perfumes yet (I hope she never gets addicted like me, haha) and she loved it; it smelled like a bag of candy, it made her smile. However, it only lasted four hours for both of us.
Casual, innocent, fun, playful, and flirty—that’s how I’d describe it. It’s a rich, jovial fragrance that I absolutely loved. A blend of guava, cherry, almond, and rose… very pleasant and sweet. I’m testing the longevity and sillage, which is good for an EDT. No regrets buying it. That cherry makeup scent… ugh, it brings back childhood memories.

Prada Candy Gloss is for cherry lovers; it smells like cherry gloss or red heart lollipops. You can also smell a lot of almond. It’s an innocent, uncomplicated, cheerful, and informal scent. I liked it and will continue to enjoy my bottle, but I won’t restock for cherry fragrances that are more complex and have better performance. The sillage is soft-moderate and the longevity on me is about 3 hours on skin. For better performance, you have to apply it very generously. It’s a shame Prada formulated their Candy line this way, always leaving us wanting to enjoy it longer. Scent 8/10, Longevity 4/10, Sillage 6/10, Value/Price 4/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 9/10. Would I buy again? No.
It’s something sweet and addictive, like smelling liquid cherry lip gloss with a bit of almond. I think it’s the most long-lasting in the Prada Candy line.
It doesn’t have guava in its notes, but to me it smells like pure sweet guava. Its longevity and sillage are moderate on me.
It just hit our stores; this Prada fragrance can be defined as the most gourmand in the Candy collection, a bomb of flowers, fruits, and pastry spices, especially the fusion between vanilla, cherries, and almonds, which honors the name Gloss since its scent represents a bar of cosmetics… Juvenile, flirtatious, and exuberant.
Wow, a brand new fruity freshness for the Candy franchise! I’m already counting down the hours to try that prodigious scent.
