  1. Areej de Attar Collection won me over with time. I picked it up because it was discontinued, though at first it didn’t click with me: the alcohol hit hard, followed by a powdery floral scent that was overwhelming. After waiting a month, it got better, but by three months it became my favorite; the notes balanced out and it’s no longer heavy. It’s delicate, linear, and intimate. My husband says it smells very feminine and cozy. The sillage is moderate at first, then it stays close to the skin with about 7 hours of longevity. I wear it in spring and fall; in summer (where it’s over 40°C), I don’t use it much, and in winter, it might not stand out unless I layer it up. Extra: the bottle is gorgeous. If you already have it and don’t like it, let it mature; if you enjoy powdery perfumes, it’s a great addition.

  2. Wow, what a delightful perfume. It has the vibe of Kenzo Elixir but much softer—it’s pure delicacy in its finest form.
