Powder Love by Juliette Has A Gun is an oriental vanilla fragrance from the olfactive family, designed for women. This new fragrance, launched in 2025, was created by nose Romano Ricci. Its olfactive pyramid unfolds with top notes of cotton candy and marshmallow (bonbon); a sweet floral heart composed of orange blossom and caramelized almonds; and a warm, enveloping base of musk, ambroxan, and tonka bean.

The opening is powdery, subtle, super delicate… a delight, but then… halfway through, it takes a turn for the sugary and ends up smelling very generic.
The opening is pretty but didn’t grab me. I love it after a bit, around the 20-minute mark. It works great on my skin and projects a ton; even the sales associate at El Corte Inglés noticed me when I came back. The only review says the opposite, so I recommend trying it yourself—don’t trust the first impression. It feels sweet but not overpowering, feminine without looking childish… it makes me feel good, it’s versatile for everyday wear… and so far, the projection is solid, though I’ve only worn it for 3 hours.
Powder Love doesn’t list it in the notes, but it opens super fruity with tart and sweet cherry. I think the almond is the culprit, not the sugary one listed, but a fresh, green, floral blend. I was blown away because it reminded me of 80s Dulcey dolls—so nostalgic! The drydown hasn’t convinced me as much; on my skin, it’s a generic floral gourmand that loses its initial charm. Still, I ordered a decant from Sephora to see how it evolves for different occasions.
Projects a ton and lasts, but smells like cheap perfume. Reminds me of Aquolina’s Pink Sugar Berry Blast. It’s got a ton of baby powder, like I’m wearing baby wipes.
