Descripción
Poison Girl Eau De Toilette by Dior, an oriental vanilla creation from the olfactory family launched in 2017 and designed for women, reveals its essence under the nose of François Demachy. The olfactory pyramid unfolds with top notes of glazed orange, bitter orange, and lemon; a floral heart composed of orange blossom, neroli, Grasse rose, and Damask rose; and a warm, sweet base formed by vanilla, caramel, tonka bean, heliotrope, and cashmere.

Just smelled it and it’s delicious: citrusy, sweet, and super delicate, with incredible staying power that I really loved.
Just bought it. It’s a delicate delight; I liked the EDP but found it too strong, whereas this version won me over more. After a few minutes on the skin, it leaves a delicious, subtle vanilla that makes you want to eat it, without being cloying. Super feminine and I loved it.
Just as beautiful as the EDP, but this is the fleeting little sister: lively, sparkling, and mischievous. The opening is semi-bitter and semi-sweet, like an orange with hints of tonka bean that smells like acidic caramel. Then a happy jasmine blooms, adding harmony without masking the sweetness. Sillage: 8/10, Longevity: 9/10.
Reminds me a lot of the EDP, but here the citrus pops at the start and fades quickly, leaving a dry freshness and that rich dessert note. Since I love the original, this didn’t disgust me at all; if the EDP felt too strong on you, give this EDT a try.
Sounds very similar to the EDP, but in the EDT the citrus hits hard at first and fades quickly, leaving that dry freshness and rich dessert scent just like the original. Since I love the EDP, this didn’t disappoint me at all. I’d recommend it if the EDP feels too strong for you.
Just bought it and it’s a treasure among the Poisons. Nothing like the EDP: this version is delicate, sweet, and super feminine. The best part? The dry-down notes.
Just bought it. It’s a treasure among the Poisons. Nothing like the EDP. This version is delicate, sweet, and super feminine. The best part: the base notes.
Love at first sniff. I don’t know how the EDP will be, but this EDT is a wonder: sweet, aromatic, citrusy, and fresh. I love it. It’s very well-balanced; since I usually opt for sweet perfumes, the citrus touch in Poison Girl doesn’t bother me; in fact, it balances perfectly with the sweetness. I’ve read comparisons to Black Opium, but I don’t find any similarity. I’ve been wearing Black Opium for years, and it wasn’t the first thing that came to mind when I tried this. Maybe the Parfum is similar in some way, but this one is almost nothing like it.
I LOVE IT.
Sweet but sophisticated; you can feel the warm Dior. I love it.
I love the scent; it’s one of my favorites, but… it doesn’t last at all! What happened to the longevity? I know it’s an EDT, but given the price, I expected more. It doesn’t last more than 3 hours on my skin. It smells delicious, but I have to keep reapplying. I wouldn’t buy it again just because of the terrible longevity. When this runs out, I’ll get the EDP; that one lasts a ton, I’d say over 10 hours.
I received this week. I already own the EDP, which is my top 5, and wanted this because reviews said it was great. Oh, disappointment; it doesn’t resemble the EDP at all. I was very surprised; I thought it would be the same but more moderate, but it smells very different. Longevity is terrible; I couldn’t smell it after 2-3 hours. It’s a Dior EDT and it’s not cheap; I expected more. It smells good but I don’t love it. Definitely won’t buy it again, what a pity I was so excited.
It’s a wonder, softer than the EDP and slightly different. The caramel note makes it so feminine and exquisite; I adore it. The only downside is it doesn’t last well and you have to reapply, but it’s delicious and gets so many compliments.
It was an unexpected gift. Exquisite, feminine, and full of nuances. The opening is a hit of alcohol, but the magic kicks in within seconds. It’s sparkling, citrusy, with sugared orange and then caramel. Sophisticated, luminous, and cheerful. But the longevity and sillage are poor… what a shame for the price. The dry-down is the same as the EDP but less invasive. If you can’t handle the EDP, this is good for everyday wear. I love it, but I wouldn’t buy it solely due to the low fixation; I need to reapply. Edit: I bought it and I’m in love. Longevity is low, but the scent… I LOVE IT.
I tried the EDP, not this one. I don’t smell any orange, just the neroli and that typical sweet base. The name doesn’t fit, and it doesn’t smell like poison either; it reminds me more of a fun girl.
Bought it because reviews called it delicious, but honestly it’s warm, not very citrusy, and a bit sweet. The trail is minimal and it doesn’t last long; it feels a little cloying to me. Vanilla and caramel really stand out. It’s nice, but not surprising. I got it along with Ricci Ricci, and they feel very similar.
This Poison Girl Eau de Toilette smells like sharp orange and sugar for about half an hour, followed by 15 minutes of delicious caramel close to the skin, and then it’s gone—the scent disappears completely. I went to the perfumer to buy the perfume oil but they accidentally sold me the Eau de Toilette; by the time I realized it was the body mist, I had already opened it and sprayed it on my wrist, so I couldn’t return it. I don’t like how citrusy it is, and the alcohol blast right when it sprays is really annoying. I don’t want it in my collection because, as I said, it’s just orange with sugar, and that’s not what I want to smell like. Honestly, whether it lasts or projects doesn’t matter to me because I simply don’t like this perfume.
Bitter orange and vanilla dominate on my skin with this little perfume. It’s cloyingly sweet on me, not my style at all. My daughter, however, loves it. But the longevity is extremely poor and the sillage is very faint. Way too expensive for such poor performance.
I went to try Dior Addict. The cinnamon mixed with orange blossom scent made me feel sick. I went for a Poison instead and almost bought it, lucky I didn’t. As soon as I smelled it, it turned fruity and a bit cloying; I thought its citrus opening was winning me over. I bought another one and thought about going back to find it. Hours after leaving the store, I was surprised by how strong the Addict smelled; when I checked my wrist, I found the culprit. Once it dried, it was exactly like Dior Addict, with orange blossom flooding everything with that oriental blend which, honestly, smells like my grandmother to me. If you like classics, those that have stood the test of time, give it a shot. If not, really don’t, it’s a great perfume because its trail keeps invading me for 5 hours, but I repeat, for me it smells like an older lady. I don’t see any ‘girl’ in it!
It’s a sweet vanilla, not cloying. The bitter orange takes away that strong sweetness. It’s very rich and has moderate longevity.
Less spicy than the original, a great relief, but it loses about 30-40% of its creaminess. It’s like the classic but toned down, especially on the spices. In that relief, like other flankers, it sacrifices a lot of creaminess. I’m torn between the traditional version I used to own (which I ditched for the spice) that I miss, and this EDT. Tough call. The sillage is soft but lovely. Edit: This is mine, oh my god, it’s incredible. It doesn’t leave your clothes smelling spicy, and the sillage is decent, enough. For the scent and the fact that it doesn’t make your clothes smell like old spices like the traditional one, I forgive everything. It’s a scent that doesn’t make you feel weird, even if you think you’re the only one enjoying it; it’s so delicious you savor it like chocolate all to yourself. In the end, it doesn’t matter, but for me, the sillage is super good. When I smell this perfume settled, I think of colorful crystal bubbles, butterflies, with the air itself throwing its wings at you as they flutter, something transparent with rainbow halos like a prism, then something refreshing, crisp, like clean water. It opens citrusy and then settles into the creamiest vanilla from the most delicious perfumery, modern and creamy, contrasting with the faint spice notes. Those fresh fruity wonders and the clean scent land on that vanilla and caramel that isn’t cloying, not powdery, but creamy. The sillage releases the combination of notes, leaving a spectacularly feminine aroma that turns heads, not because it’s strong, but because it’s rich. It’s wonderful. If you feel the spices in the traditional are annoying or too heavy, but you’re drawn to the scent, don’t hesitate to go for the Eau de Toilette. The Unexpected ones are too different and lose the line. If you’re looking for something similar but less sweet and spicy, I recommend Britney’s Prerogative. Longevity: I don’t know why people say it lasts nothing; it lasted 6 hours on me and then the scent got messy, still present but changing. For me, 6 hours from an Eau de Toilette is amazing. The sillage is just right; I wish it were better, maybe it would get cloying, it’s the same amount as the Eau de Parfum, just this one was sweeter but didn’t project as far, staying closer. Sometimes I even feel the EDT has better sillage. Sorry for the long review, I try to express myself when it comes to high-value fragrances; for me, this is worth every penny.
I wasn’t looking for this fragrance; I ordered the EDP by mistake and got this instead, but I’m glad. I already owned the Poison Girl EDP and gifted it to my mom because, although it lasted long, it was very strong and clung to the neck. This eau de toilette has caramel, that sweet little orange note; it’s more feminine, delicate, and youthful. Its dry-down is lovely and tender, a scent that brings happiness. It would be perfect with more punch, but the longevity isn’t bad: it lasts all day on me, especially on clothes. The sillage is moderate. Since it’s an eau de toilette, I don’t mind showering with it for that perfect dry-down. It’s worth treating yourself to this luxury once in a while.
I didn’t want this fragrance; it was sent to me by mistake as I ordered the EDP… but I’m glad I have it. I previously owned the Poison Girl EDP and gifted it to my mom because it didn’t suit me; it had great longevity but poor projection, being a strong scent stuck to the neck. This Eau de Toilette has caramel, that sweet little orange note; it’s more feminine, delicate, and youthful, with a beautiful, tender dry-down, a scent that brings happiness. It would be perfect with more power, but there’s nothing to be done. The longevity isn’t bad; it lasts all day, especially on clothes. The sillage is moderate. Since it’s an Eau de Toilette, I don’t mind showering with that perfect dry-down. It’s worth treating yourself to this luxury once in a while.
Upon spraying, it radiates alcohol before revealing a subtle sweet orange with a hint of lemon; as it dries, it becomes the EDP but with less intensity (floral with a vanilla touch). The initial citrus is always subtle, delicate—not strong or fresh, but sweet.
I’ve been jumping between the EDT and EDP for 6 years; both are delicious, but this one is less spicy and more creamy. A true delight to wear; the bitter orange opening is spectacular with a lasting power I adore. (It’s becoming very hard to find lately, as designers have lowered quality). I’ve had 5 bottles and noticed no difference between them. Scent is a 10, sillage is a 7; after 4 hours, it’s just skin scent. EDT lasts 6 hours, nothing for summer. EDP lasts 8 hours. Would I buy it again? Yes, absolutely, it’s my favorite.
I’ve been alternating between the EDT and EDP for 6 years; both are delicious, but this one is less spicy and creamier. The bitter orange opening is spectacular, and I love the longevity (which is hard to find these days). I’ve had 5 bottles and they’ve never changed. Smell-wise it’s a 10, projection is a 7 at 4 hours (sillage only). The EDT lasts 6 hours (not recommended for summer) and the EDP 8. Would I buy it again? Yes, it’s my favorite.
A beautiful, elegant perfume without being cheesy.
Exquisite. Moderate sillage. As it dries, it smells of hazelnut and almond—spectacular, like wearing a delicious bonbon. I love its base. I don’t notice the initial citrus touch, but if you buy it, you will.
I bought it thinking it was the EDP, but I don’t regret it. It’s an orange between sweet and bitter, vanilla-scented but without touching the extreme sweetness of some current perfumes. I find it for a young girl with personality. Lately it’s quite hard to find, both this one and the EDP.
What a pleasant and subtle scent. Not cloying, it evaporates quickly and you need to reapply constantly. Almost like perfume water, but delicious. I smell orange, vanilla, caramel, and roses. It deserves to be in the collection.
Very good, well-balanced and feminine notes, but it lasts a sigh, what a pity… 🙁 Anything similar with more longevity?
I had a dream walking through an idealized neon city where everything was perfect, and I was wearing Poison Girl. When I woke up, I headed straight to the Dior counter to try it. The name says it all: a dangerous girl to look at, and especially to drink in. Kissing her makes you fall head over heels for her poison. I tried both, and the EDT version came closest to that dream: airy, sweet, and mischievous. It opens with a sugary breath of realistic bitter oranges, like a squeezed orange juice. Then come the sweet, powdery, balsamic, and sticky roses, with the rose lingering in the background. Gradually, it settles into a caramelized tonka bean and vanilla powder, with a hint of sweet almond that almost turns smoky at the end. It never overwhelms you; instead, it stays close to the skin and rises when you move. It lasts fantastic on clothes and hair; on skin, about 5 hours, but worth reapplying if you want all-day wear. I love that crushed orange and rose makeup scent, like a memory of a dream world. It’s unique (though it reminds me of Black Opium) and always stands out. The bottle is gorgeous with its pink button, and the box reminds me of the series Black Mirror. Poison Girl is a living reminder that I can make my dreams come true. Isn’t that enough for a Dior flanker at a good price?
I had a dream walking through the idealized version of my city, bathed in neon colors, where everything was perfect and my wishes were crystallizing. I was wearing Dior Poison Girl. I woke up like a ghost and went straight to the counter to spray it. The name says ‘poison,’ but it comes from ‘potion’ (to drink in Latin): kissing the girl who wears it will make you fall head over heels for her poison. How fantastic, I want 16 bottles. I already had a decant of the EDP that I enjoyed but it didn’t mark enough. At the counter I tested both; the EDT reminded me more of the dream: more airy, sweet, mischievous, and volatile. It opens with a sugary breath of realistic bitter oranges, like crushing a cut orange and filling your fingers with juice. The orange is citrusy and candied, with a tiny astringent touch that could be confused with soap, but the sweet and powdery smell of the roses appears quickly. It reminds me a bit of Roses Vanille, balsamic and sticky. All the floral facets are sweet; the rose is secondary, adding color to those rebellious oranges, until the caramelized tonka bean and vanilla powder come down. It smells like sweet almond that transforms, and at the end it has a nearly smoky facet more present in the EDP. Since it’s an EDT, it never suffocates you in sweetness; it accompanies you close to the skin and rises toward your nose when you move. It lasts fantastic on clothes and hair, don’t miss out on spraying it in your hair. On skin it lasts 5 hours, you have to reapply if you want it all day, but for me it’s not necessary. I love its crushed orange scent, rose makeup, soft rebellion, and neon at 8 in the morning. It’s fantastic, unique (though it reminds me of Black Opium), and it’s always noticeable. The bottle is awesome (a pink button, a pink potion promising eternal dreams) and the box reminds me of the fantastical 80s version of ‘San Junipero’ in Black Mirror. Wow, great ending. For me, Poison Girl is a living memory that I can make reality of anything I dream. And that’s already enough for a poor Dior flanker at an overprice, don’t you think?
Dior perfumes have never been my favorites, but the Poison line called to me. I like sweets but not gourmand or heavy, and I was afraid to invest in something that might turn out heavy. I tried the EDP and liked it, but something didn’t convince me, I think it was the almond note. I couldn’t find a tester for the EDT, so I bought it blindly in 30ml and I LOVE IT. It keeps the citrus note longer, avoiding heaviness. To me, it smells like orange marmalade with vanilla touches. The trail and longevity are medium, the perfect point. If you want it more intense, try the EDP.
I bought it yesterday and it’s a delight. I’m not a vanilla person, but this Dior one is executed perfectly, nothing cloying, just to highlight the fragrance. It’s a spectacular glazed orange with soft vanilla and caramel, accompanied by tonka bean at the start. Midway through, I notice the orange with caramel and a rich spiced vanilla. At the end, it smells like citrusy vanilla with sandalwood and lasts until the next day on skin. On clothes, it lasts up to 3 days noticeably. I perceive a lot of sweet and citrusy vanilla, exquisite. On clothes it smells better than on skin. Scent 9/10, Longevity 10/10 (you have to spray it on first to feel it). Moderate-to-high price but worth every penny. 9/10 overall.
It feels like polished orange peels. It’s interesting, it surprised me, but I can’t stop smelling it; I can see myself wearing this always. Update: on skin it hypnotizes me; the opening is a bit bitter but immediately caramelizes and becomes sweet, something unique. Scent: 10/10. Versatility: if you want to be a gothic summer girl, it works, though it can be warm. Versatile for daily wear and special occasions. 9/10 Performance (to be evaluated). General: 9.5/10. Note: Boos Rainbow smells very similar (somewhere in between the two) and unfortunately disappoints in longevity for its price; I prefer to spend less.
Sweet softness. An elegant orange subtly vanilla-scented, like a cream dessert with orange blossom or a yogurt cake that isn’t cloying. Unlike Hypnotic Poison, this one is soaked in orange blossom water. Among so many trendy sweets, this is my favorite because it has ‘savoir-faire’: it doesn’t invade, tire, or saturate. It’s a soft sweetness handkerchief that accompanies you everywhere.
It starts with a sugared orange, almost feeling the crystallized sweetness. Although I own other orange blossom scents, here it blends perfectly with flowers to create a fresh sweetness. The base is vanilla with tonka bean, seductive yet elegant, nothing gourmand. It suits my style of dark clothing and boots perfectly; it accentuates my presence with a coquettishness that invites people closer. I don’t quite recognize the cashmere notes, but I love the perfume. The trail is moderate; it’s not heavy but lasts about 8 hours (the last 3 hours only my boyfriend notices it). It lasts all day on clothes, ideal for all seasons, though I’d consider it for summer too.
I loved it at first sniff. I bought it for Christmas. It smells like caramelized orange and it’s gorgeous 🧡
