I bought the EDT Manifiesto and, while I liked the scent, it lasted zero time and left no trail. I insisted on the Elixir and everything changed: it lasts forever, has great projection, and is sweet. Totally worth the extra price, 100%.

  • It’s an elegant, subtle, warm, and sophisticated fragrance. Ideal for lovers of sweet scents, but without being too cloying or heavy.

  • I bought it to gift to my mother. At first, when the saleswoman tested it on my skin, I felt it was very citrusy and the top notes overwhelmed me a bit. After 20 minutes, I could appreciate the jasmine and vanilla. Hours later, I felt the woody base. It’s sweet but not overpowering. It’s an elegant, very feminine, and sophisticated scent. It has a moderate trail and incredible longevity; I could still smell it after bathing. I conclude that I absolutely love this Eau de Parfum Intense.

  • I bought it to gift to my mother. At first, when the saleswoman tested it on my skin, I sensed a lot of citrus and the opening notes were a bit overwhelming. After 20 minutes, the jasmine and vanilla appeared. Hours later, I felt the woody base. It’s sweet but not intoxicating. It’s elegant, very feminine, and sophisticated. It has moderate sillage and incredible longevity; I could still smell it after showering. I absolutely love this Eau de Parfum Intense.

  • This gem is a work of art that leaves me speechless. Lately, I haven’t written reviews because I noticed perfumery is stuck in a box—either gourmand with vanilla or fresh with white flowers. This is different; we needed powdery and talcum notes. That mix of citrus, vanilla, and talc has driven me crazy. Congratulations to the house for this divine madness. It shines proudly day or night, in winter or summer.

  • To me, it’s a work of art. At first, it smells like the original, but once it dries down, it’s a marvel. It lasts much longer than the original. It’s warm, sweet, and not cloying; I’d call it refined sweetness. It starts citrusy, then reveals jasmine, and finishes with a sophisticated and addictive vanilla.

  • I was really eager to try it and was slightly disappointed. Many say it’s the same as Le Parfum, but for me, the latter is better. The performance is excellent, lasting over 12 hours and being intense, but the scent felt a bit plastic and artificial to me, with that cashmeran base. Le Parfum has so many more nuances.

I’ve had it for a short while and love it so much. It’s meant for cold climates, but a little goes a long way in the heat. It’s intense, sweet, like caramelized and powdered oranges. It’s sensual and elegant. It leaves a great trail and lasts noticeably for 7-8 hours, then stays close to the skin until 12-14 hours. I wear it in the morning and reapply in the afternoon, and it’s fantastic.

I’ve had it for a short while and I really like it. It’s for cold climates, but I’ve used it in heat too; in small quantities, it’s not bad at all. It’s an intense, sweet scent, caramelized and powdery oranges. It’s sensual and elegant. It leaves a good trail and lasts notably 7-8 hours, then close to the skin for another 12-14. Generally, I apply it in the morning and touch up in the afternoon, and it works great.

I loved Manifesto L’Elixir. I was hesitant because the original didn’t innovate much for me, but this was a true pleasure. The opening is dark and elegant, not just citrusy as it seems at first. It’s a magnificent, full-bodied, and very seductive fragrance. After 20 minutes, it settles into a perfect vanilla that’s both sweet and tart—a citrus gourmand with wood notes. It’s generous with sprays, has amazing sillage, but surprisingly low longevity; I think it’s the best Manifesto and it’s about to disappear.

Buying it on sale thinking it was the classic was a mistake—it’s my favorite. I agree with the notes: the first five hours smell of caramelized oranges with vanilla. I’m not a vanilla fan, but the balance with the citrus is spectacular. The heat made me feel suffocated after just one spray, and it bothered me while eating. It projects a meter away, so I wouldn’t wear it on my wrists during the day. It’s more intense than the classic but shares that beautiful, elegant, and bold DNA. It projects for 10 hours and lasts on the skin until the next day. P/S: STAINS CLOTHES, spray carefully.

It was an impulse buy, it was on sale, and I thought it was the classic, my favorite. I agree with the reviews: the first 5 hours smell of caramelized orange with vanilla. I’m not a fan of vanilla, but the balance with the citrus is spectacular. The first time I wore it, it was hot and daytime; we couldn’t close the car windows because I was suffocating, and lunch was unpleasant. It has a trail of a meter with just one spray. I wouldn’t wear it on my wrists during hot days. It’s more intense than the classic, but so beautiful, they share the same DNA. It has presence, it’s elegant, bold, strong, powerful, conveys security, femininity, and sensuality. It projects for 10 hours and lasts on the skin until the next day. PS: THE LIQUID STAINS CLOTHES. SPRAY WITH CAUTION.

It has nothing to do with the NYK Premiere from 5th Avenue; that one is floral, bitter, soft, and fades quickly, with no sweetness. In contrast, ML is sweet, citrusy, bitter, heavily vanilla-scented, powerful, and has incredible longevity.

  • It hurts that they discontinued it, but the 2014 Dior Addict version is a great substitute. While Elixir is richer and lasts longer, I just need to try the original to see if I can reunite with my old friend.

Exotic and warm vanilla. It’s strong but stays on the skin for a long time without much sillage. Creamy texture. I love it. Ideal for cold climates, although it also works for a summer night that isn’t too hot, since its herbal and citrusy touch doesn’t make it heavy. I find it sophisticated. Its bottle is gorgeous.

  • Why do I love this perfume so much? Because it has everything done right: sweet in just the right measure, powdery in just the right measure, it has neroli (my favorite flower), and the citrus works perfectly. As soon as I spray it, there are acidic citrus notes (maybe bergamot). If you don’t like citrus, don’t worry; they are secondary but essential for perfect drying. A few minutes later, in the heart phase, the white flowers appear (I can smell the neroli, it’s crazy) and the heliotrope that gives that subtle powdery touch. The dry-down is the most wonderful part: a creamy vanilla that blends with citrus that fades in intensity but doesn’t disappear, creating a sensual, elegant, and enveloping scent, sweet but not gourmand, with that just-right powdery point (like Hypnotic Poison EDT, not Narciso) and a subtle wood that adds warmth. Although the description says it’s for cold nights, I used it on cold, sunny winter mornings. I’m planning to use it on a winter night out; it will surely be a hit. Price/Quality: there’s no need to say much. Incredible longevity on skin and clothes (no reapplication needed for 7 hours). A wonderful trail that perfumes the room. Clearly worth the price (and yes, YSL is expensive). The only bad thing: it’s discontinued! I can’t find an explanation. What’s the difference with the classic? The classic doesn’t thrill me like this one; the vanilla in the classic saturates me, while the citrus in the L’Elixir version makes all the difference. P.S.: There’s a perfume that reminds me of it a lot and which I love crazily: Armani Code Cashmere. If you have it, it will serve as a reference.

  • Why do I love this perfume so much? Because it has everything done right: sweet in just the right measure, powdery, and with my favorite flower, neroli. The citrus is acidic at first but secondary for a perfect dry-down. Then come the white flowers, heliotrope, and a creamy vanilla that blends with the citrus, lowering the intensity. It’s sensual, elegant, and enveloping, with just the right powdery touch (not like Narciso, more like Hypnotic Poison) and subtle wood. I wear it on cold, sunny winter mornings; someday I’ll try it out at night. The longevity is incredible, over 7 hours without reapplying, and the trail perfumes the room. It’s worth the cost, YSL is expensive. The downside: it’s discontinued. I can’t find an explanation. Difference from the classic? The classic overwhelms me with vanilla; here, the citrus makes the difference. PS: It reminds me of Armani Code Cashmere, if you have it, it’ll serve as a guide.

  • Warm, enveloping, and seductive vanilla. Loaded with vanilla and white florals; I don’t detect ambroxan, giving it a very natural image. Well-made. Perfect for night outs, romantic dates, or hanging out with friends. It’s out of place for daily wear or work. Good performance and excellent longevity, no need to reapply. I don’t know if they reformulated it, but when my dad bought it for my mom, it was a powder-sweet bomb with oriental touches. Wearable on cold winter nights or autumn. Always stylish, elegant, and versatile. Looks great on any seductive and charming woman. Very current.

  • A warm, enveloping, and seductive vanilla. It’s loaded with vanilla and white florals; I don’t perceive ambroxan, so it gives a very natural image. Good job. Perfect for night outs, romantic dates, or hanging out with friends. It’s out of place for daily errands or work. It has good performance, excellent fixation, and a nice trail; no need to reapply. I don’t know if they reformulated it, but when my father bought it for my mother, it was a bomb of powdery sweetness with oriental touches. It’s wearable with cold winter nights or autumn temperatures. Always stylish, elegant, yet flexible. Looks good on any seductive and friendly woman. Good job, very current.

  • Three very similar perfumes: 1. Lolita Lempicka Vanilla (same scent, a bit synthetic), 2. La Nuit Tresor a la Folie (very similar but less powdery), 3. Manifesto. All three are extremely alike.

  • PURE MANIFESTO DNA: I love it; it’s clearly a warmer version of the one I adore. Although there’s no wood note, there’s something reminiscent of it. It’s a scent I really like. As the name suggests, it’s an intense version of the original. However, when choosing, I prefer the other; here, the vanilla and wood lose a bit of versatility because they are warmer. It’s a scent I love and a worthy flanker, although I smelled it on a tester.

  • This perfume was chosen for my wedding, and I still don’t regret it. Years later, I used it again and wondered why they cancel jewels like this. Ideal for lovers of velvet textures; it conveys the sensation of a soft, high-quality shawl mixed with white flowers and spiced vanilla. I also own the original, which is a bit fresher than this one. Without a doubt, I’m sticking with this.

I finally finished this bottle of a masterpiece. How beautiful! I enjoyed it so much. Reading the notes today, I realize it doesn’t actually have plum. On my skin, it’s a dense, seductive vanilla with a plum and cashmere base that gives a velvet touch. What a beauty. What a shame they discontinued it.

  • What a gorgeous, elegant, and unique scent compared to the standardized olfactory norms. I don’t understand why they discontinued it; they bomb us with pretentious fragrances and pull these gems off the market. It’s polished and round, much more refined than the Armani Code Cashmere, which comes off as a bit loud. Although I appreciate this flanker, I still prefer the original Manifesto. Both have beautiful bottles.
