It’s cozy and a bit sweet, but I prefer the traditional Quatre. It didn’t quite win me over. It’s not bad, but it just doesn’t convince me.
Hi! The fragrance opens fresh with a bitter almond touch, delicious; it reminds me of the original Quatre. A few minutes later, you feel the tonka bean with the pear, sweet… yes! sweet and mature. In this phase, it smells like Good Girl, and at the dry-down, the vanilla… it reminds me of freshly baked Christmas cookies! It’s perfect for winter because it’s warm and cozy, with a good trail, lasting 6 hours on skin and longer on clothes. If you like sweet and elegant scents, give it a try… but be careful, don’t buy blind… if you don’t like sweet scents, better leave it.
It’s a fragrance that puts you on an exclusive level. You can feel the quality of the ingredients. It starts sweet, fresh, and spicy, then moves directly to a subtle, balanced wood. It’s not for everyone, only for those who appreciate complex compositions. I wouldn’t recommend it to perfume beginners, as it requires a trained nose from aromatic exploration. It can easily be unisex while maintaining balance.
This smells very different from Quatre and its ‘little siblings.’ To me, the classic is for daytime, while this is more of a nighttime scent. The opening is ‘spicy’ due to pink pepper, and you can definitely detect the almond. Then the tonka bean blends with jasmine, I believe this white flower lasts until the dry-down. In the end, it smells very similar to Good Girl. If you like Carolina Herrera, this is in the same vein. It’s spicy, woody, and very ambered, perfect for autumn and winter nights.
I love it. It projects well and still smells divine on the skin after several hours; but today I can’t find it in stores or online… has it been discontinued?
