I think it’s a very good perfume, even if it’s not cheap. There are no notes that clash, unlike many designer scents lately, even though it features tonka bean, one of the current culprits. It feels complex and well-blended, with no single note overpowering the others. On another person and on a different day, during the dry-down, I thought I smelled a rich, distinct vanilla, but I didn’t know which note it was (lol). Now that I know it doesn’t have vanilla, I realize that sweet touch was more almond-like, which pairs well with the tonka. I also appreciate a jasmine that reminds me of Yves Rocher’s (which is cheap but I love it). I notice the other notes less, but they’re there. The performance is excellent (one spray on the back of my hand at 6 PM was still detectable, though faint as expected, by 9 AM the next day). The potency was also high; I’d bet that with several sprays, it would definitely make an impression.

It’s addictive, endlessly sensual, a resinous tonka bean bomb (the benzoin blends beautifully with everything), with incredible sillage and longevity. For me, it has everything needed to captivate.
