  A very distinguished and high-quality fragrance. Citrus opening with spicy touches, very bright. As it settles on the skin, it unfolds an earthy vetiver with a faint background of woods and vanilla, with a creamy touch from tonka bean. It reminds me of Galloway by Parfums de Marly, but without that iris and floral touch, making it deeper. A great perfume, bright, elegant, and special for mid-seasons: ideal for spring and autumn, perfect for the office. Good projection, longevity, and trail. In my opinion, it’s for any age and generates compliments. Scent 9.5/10, Trail 8/10, Longevity 8.5/10, Projection 9/10. Highly recommended.

  Excellent vetiver. As a lover of this note, I was tempted to buy it blind after seeing the ingredients and the site’s discount, and I couldn’t be happier. Lunar Vetiver is basically an exultant, bright, and expansive vetiver contained within a bubble of notes that modulate it, giving it an elegant and refined character. At first, it’s barely noticeable, but then it shines within a soft accord that captures that wild vetiver: it’s not earthy or dirty, but bright and luminous, like Guerlain’s early 20th-century vetiver. It’s vetiver contained in a capsule of notes that soften it, keeping that character under an olfactory wrapper. The vetiver is the protagonist, but the blend is round. It reminds me of Roja Parfum, but at a better price. Longevity is about 10 hours and projection is 5-6, excellent. I wear it on sunny winter and spring days; I doubt it for summer and only in autumn with sun. I associate it with light, so it’s for daytime. It’s already my favorite vetiver.

  I sense a contrast between the bright, citrusy side of the vetiver and warm, earthy sensations with pink pepper, black pepper, and the darker root. All accompanied by a creamy, woody feeling, like sandalwood. The opening can be a bit intense, but the dry-down is amazing; the trail hits you in waves. It has good longevity, is versatile, though I prefer it for daytime and mild weather. It’s striking, original, and worth trying.

  Citrus and vetiver that really shine. They add chords that make it creamy and easy to wear on cool days, but not freezing ones. A great perfume.

  I absolutely loved it. I tried the sample first. It’s a citrus vetiver that smells strong, very different from the ghostly scent of Terre d’Hermès Eau de Vetiver. I detect some similarity to Salvador Dalí pour Homme, though it has many more notes, and its price is even better. Edit: and the ‘Lunar’ part is true… it smells like being on the moon x’DD.

  I bought it blind and nailed it 100%: a clean, green vetiver with an earthy touch that has great projection and longevity on the skin. Without a doubt, a masterpiece from Amouroud.

  Lunar Vetiver is an elegant and complex gem: a top-quality Java vetiver that, unlike Haitian vetiver, shines with its rhizomes, moisture, and nutty notes. Here, it’s crafted to be luminous, lively, and almost fresh, thanks to a strange yet beautiful, hard-to-define accord that reminds me of a spicier, fresher, citrusier aloe vera with subtle floral touches. It’s creamy, totally original, and doesn’t resemble anything else except in its base note. Moderate-to-high projection and great longevity. As a vetiver lover, it’s an absolute must-have in my collection.
