It starts with creamy strawberries and a powdery touch, like those pink candies from the supermarket or a powdery strawberry milkshake. As it dries down, it becomes juicy, sweet, and vanilla-infused, very creamy. On my skin, I don’t detect the jasmine; it smells more like strawberry than blackberry. It lasts about seven hours on the skin. I haven’t compared it to the EDP since I don’t own one, but between this and the Intense, this one is creamier and the strawberry note is much more pronounced on my skin.
They say it launched in September, but in Spain, you can’t find it in stores or online. Not even the ad campaign has arrived yet. Do you know when it’ll be here? Good Fortune, Prada Paradoxe, and Fame are already available here just like in the US.
If you’re looking for something cheaper, try Yara by Lattafa; it smells like strawberry ice cream with cream. Sweet perfume lovers might adore it, but for me, the sugar was just too much.
If you’re looking for something cheaper, try Lataffa’s Yara, which smells exactly like whipped cream strawberry ice cream. Gourmand lovers might adore it, but the sweetness just didn’t do anything for me.
I’d say it’s the child of Burberry Her and Intense, leaning more toward the latter, but swapping the cherry for strawberry and blackberry; it’s creamy and a little powdery. Although it doesn’t list lactonic notes, I get a light hint of milk and marshmallow, not that strawberry milkshake they describe, but a creamy strawberry sweetness. Everything is very integrated and the notes aren’t distinct. What I didn’t like is the extremely low sillage and poor longevity, so I have to spray six or more times. On my skin, it lasts less than the classic Her and the Intense, which last much longer. Unfortunately, for the price, the quality isn’t good, even though the scent is very nice.
Reminds me of Burberry Her Intense’s child, but with strawberry and blackberry instead of cherry; it’s creamy and a bit powdery. It doesn’t smell like milk or marshmallow as some say, but rather an integrated creamy strawberry sweetness. The downside is the sillage is extremely low and longevity is poor; I have to spray six or more times. On my skin, it lasts less than the original and the Intense, so for the price, it’s not worth it, even though the scent is top-tier.
Amazing perfume, a mix of Burberry Her + Intense + the essence of Zara Go Fruity. I was blown away by the longevity, lasting over 8 hours on skin, and the sillage is incredible. Rich and delicious, I loved it 💓🤪
I tried it today at Barajas in the duty-free store and I loved it. It’s a heavier version of the EDP, sweeter and denser, but wonderful. I didn’t buy it because the price is outrageous at 130€; for me, it’s not worth it, but it’s very pretty.
Exquisite, it’s a blend of Burberry Her, Intense, the BR extract, and Zara’s Go Fruity. I was impressed by the longevity, over 8 hours on skin, and the trail is very good. Super delicious, I loved it.
Just tried it; it’s soft when dried but very sweet, smelling of strawberries, almost like a candy or those dolls with a strawberry scent in their hair. It’s innocent, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like it; I’m attracted to it because within that sweetness, there’s something addictive. Longevity and projection are scarce (3 hours on skin), low projection.
It didn’t convince me. I had high hopes for this fragrance, but it wasn’t what I was looking for. I love the EDP and Intense versions of Burberry Her—I know them by heart—but this is basically the Intense, just sweeter, with less longevity and sillage. If you already own the Intense, don’t buy this version; it’s the same thing but worse.
Didn’t impress me. I waited so long for this fragrance and it wasn’t what I was looking for. I love the EDP and the Intense version of Burberry Her, I know them well, but this is basically an Intense that’s sweeter, with less longevity and projection. If you have the Intense, don’t buy this; it’s the same thing but worse.
Although I’m not a huge fan of the Burberry Her line, this new Elixir really appeals to me. It’s a strawberry and cream dessert. On skin, it opens like a sweet explosion with lactonic strawberries, then settles into a blend of sandalwood and vanilla. Super delicious, ultra-feminine, and youthful. It’s versatile because it’s sweet but not overwhelming. The trail and projection are moderate for the first 2-3 hours, then drop, but the longevity is extremely high, surpassing 8 hours. In fact, I can still smell it after showering. It’s not super complex, but I wouldn’t mind adding it to my collection.
It’s similar to the Intense but creamier with less projection. It’s very delicious. If you liked the Her or the Intense, the Elixir is a blind buy. Is it redundant to have all three? If you’re a collector, yes. But you can live with just one, the one that makes you happy. To those voting down saying it doesn’t resemble anything, I think you have a perception problem.
It’s exquisite; the strawberry feels very creamy and doesn’t stay just as a girl’s milkshake as they say. I can smell the sandalwood that gives it elegance. You can tell the quality and natural ingredients. It’s not a projection bomb, but it smells enveloping and sophisticated. On my skin, it lasted about 10 hours. Highly recommended and flattering.
Smells like strawberries with whipped cream, super sweet, playful, and youthful, but it has a sexy touch I can’t quite place. If you like gourmands, this is for you. Be careful not to over-spray; the projection is strong. It reminds me of those 80s dolls with a milkshake scent. It projects well at first, then fades. The best way to use it is on clothes so it lasts longer. Over time, it becomes more mature, less like a doll. Medium longevity, about 5-7 hours on skin.
Smells like strawberries with whipped cream, super sweet and playful, youthful and innocent yet with a sexy touch I can’t quite place. Ideal for gourmand lovers. Be careful with the sprays because the projection is beastly. It reminds me of those 80s/90s dolls that smelled like strawberry shakes. It projects well at first but fades over time; the best way to make it last is to spray it on clothes. As the hours pass, it becomes more mature and stops smelling like a doll. Longevity is decent, around 5-7 hours on skin.
I tried the classic Her, the green one, and didn’t like them, so I thought this would be the good one, and it was the one I liked the least. The Elixir is less fresh and works better in cold climates; it’s a synthetic strawberry that smells like a little doll or Barbie head. Personally, I don’t find that creamy milkshake note they talk about. I don’t enjoy it on skin or on paper. 5/10.
After trying the classic Her and the green version without being convinced, I thought this would be the one, and it was the one I liked the least. The Elixir is less fresh, better in cold weather, smelling like synthetic strawberry, Barbie doll style. I can’t find that creamy rice milk note they claim. I don’t like it on skin or on paper. 5/10.
Bought it trusting the classic Her, but it didn’t disappoint me. On my skin, the fruits sound very synthetic, and that metallic note dominates everything, almost being the only thing that smells. I tested it in different weather conditions and nothing changed. It left my collection immediately.
In love from the first sniff. Unlike its original counterpart, Her Elixir is a soft, fruity, and vanilla blend that doesn’t overwhelm as much. I love it!
After trying it several times, I like it, but there’s a metallic or synthetic note that bugs me a bit. Overall it’s sweet and pretty, so I’ll keep testing it out.
I love it! It made my inner child happy because it makes me smell like a distressed kiss-me.
One of my favorite fragrances. I started with Her and then moved to Her Elixir for the intensity. I love it and it’s a guaranteed restock in my collection. I mostly wear it during the day when I’m feeling cute; it’s a very feminine and youthful scent. Highly recommended.
An excellent alternative to this: Shiyaaka Rose Gold by Khadlaj (Shiyaaka White). It’s not a dupe; it’s the same strawberry but with a more interesting floral side, featuring frangipani and peony.
I gave it a shot because I disliked the classic for its artificial strawberry scent, but this is the same with a stronger floral note. I actually prefer it to the original, but after reading all the reviews, I was expecting something different.
I wanted to give it a shot because I didn’t like the classic Her for its synthetic strawberry, but this is more of the same with an even stronger floral touch. I like it better than the classic, but after all the reviews, I was hoping for something else.
The first time I wore it was incredible—the strawberry felt super fresh and delicious, a true Elixir. But after five minutes, it changed so much that it smelled like simple fruit caramel and lost all its magic. The shift was so drastic it surprised me. For me, I’m not buying it.
I’ve been eyeing this for a while. My mom bought the original, but I wanted the Elixir version. It was a blind buy, but since I knew how the original smelled, I expected that scent. No regrets; it’s much more intense and creamy thanks to the sandalwood. It smells like a nice girl and creamy strawberries, not cloying, and works for any occasion. It’s a lovely, slightly elegant scent. Recommended if you like strawberries and want something more intense and long-lasting.
Soft and sweet. Tart little fruits blend with light jasmine and sweet vanilla, plus that creamy touch that makes it rich. Then comes the powdery note, very similar to Narciso Rodriguez Poudrée—that delicate, modern vibe. It sits beautifully on the skin, looking refined, current, and precious, with excellent longevity and projection.
I’ve been eyeing this for a while. My mom bought the original, but I wanted the Elixir. It was a blind buy, but since I knew how the original smelled, I have no regrets. It’s more intense and creamy thanks to the sandalwood. Smells like a ‘good girl’ with creamy strawberries without being cloying; it works for any occasion. It’s lovely and slightly elegant. Recommended if you like strawberries but want something more intense and long-lasting.
I first tried it at a clone store and it made me gag, but the original is a complete game-changer. It smells like strawberries with cream and is super pleasant for everyday wear, though I wouldn’t wear it to a party.
