Smells good. I don’t get the connection to its name. It doesn’t smell like anything that could be interpreted as powerful or make you feel that way. It’s just sweet and powdery.

  • At first, it’s overwhelming—very sweet and citrusy; I don’t detect the salt or woods. Once it settles, I smell honey, which isn’t listed but for me, it’s there. After an hour, it feels like the younger brother of Jean Paul Gaultier’s Scandal: similar but less intense.

  • I tried it last weekend. At first, it’s potent and a bit sweet, then it fades. It only lasted 3 hours, so I wouldn’t buy it again.

  • salcedovanesa

I want it, I want it, I want it. I love it. Sweet, fresh, slightly salty, and radiant. Just three of my favorite notes together, an excellent and simple yet eloquent combination. As soon as I saved up a few bucks, it was mine. By late May, I’ll receive ‘Damas y Caballeros,’ my birthday gift during quarantine. Out of all the items on my wishlist, this one couldn’t wait any longer.

I want it, I want it, I want it. I love it. Sweet, fresh, salty, radiant. Just three notes and my three favorites together… an excellent combination, simple but eloquent. As soon as I saved up a few bucks, it was mine. In late May, I received ‘Damas y Caballeros’ as a birthday gift in the middle of quarantine. Out of all the wonders on my wishlist, this one couldn’t wait any longer.

  • It’s the only Kenzo I own and it has conquered me. Despite having only three notes, on my skin I perceive the subtle salt, followed by an intense, sumptuously sensual, and powerful vanilla scent. Moderate sillage and very acceptable longevity, around 8 hours. Over the months, it has captivated me even more. I like wearing it during the day and in warm weather because I find that fresh touch very pleasant.

  • I tried it at the perfumerie and didn’t like it. I’m not sure if it’s the salty accord or the woody notes; I find it astringent and dry, hard to explain. It has good sillage and lasts about 3 or 4 hours, which isn’t bad, but I just didn’t like it.

What a rich perfume. It’s vanilla-based but not intensified by fruits like modern scents; instead, it’s dosed by salt, creating a sensation of subtle, soft vanilla, like a sea breeze. It’s a correct perfume, neither standing out nor clashing, and that’s why I like it.

  • What a beautiful perfume! It’s addictive. Tonka bean, cypress, and salt, in that order. On my skin, it’s a sweet green note with a salty touch that adds sensuality but stays clean, unlike the Calvin Klein Reveal which I find unpleasant due to its dirty undertone. It also lacks the heavy vanilla sweetness of Olympea, opting for something simpler, natural, and less pretentious. The tonka bean feels exquisite. Everything is in balance. I think I’d wear it all year because it feels fresh and warm at the same time. It’s elegant, enveloping, and sophisticated. Longevity: a 10. I don’t last long with any perfume, but this projects for up to 12 hours and lingers on the skin until the next day. It’s a marvel.

  • I love this perfume! It’s addictive. Smells like tonka bean, cypress, and salt, in that order. On my skin, it’s a sweet green scent with a salty touch that gives it a clean sensuality, totally different from Calvin Klein’s Reveal, which I find unpleasant. It also lacks the vanilla sweetness of Olympea, opting for something simpler and more natural. The tonka bean feels exquisite, and everything is in balance. I’d wear it all year because it’s both fresh and warm at the same time. Elegant and sophisticated. Longevity is 10/10: it doesn’t last long on my skin, but it projects for 12 hours and I can still smell it on my skin the next day. It’s a masterpiece.

  • I went to the perfumerie for another scent and they let me try this; honestly, I loved it. I’m not usually a fresh perfume person, but this is a great option for those of us who like sweet scents. It’s special for warm weather; on my skin, it feels very fruity and fresh. I’ll be buying it again for next summer. I’m editing the review not because it smells bad, but because many people found it too masculine. I gave it to my husband, and it looks spectacular on him.

  • This perfume is a bomb. The salt-tonka bean combination is incredible. Besides having an exquisite scent, it has an impressive sillage and great longevity. I get tons of compliments when I wear it, I love it.

  • Perfumaniaca 23

What a bomb! Delicious fragrance, it has it all: exquisite vanilla, cypress freshness, and salt to anchor it. I didn’t let the bad reviews stop me and took the risk to buy blind. Incredible longevity, acceptable sillage, and it smells totally original. I recommend it 100% if you’re an alternative, modern girl who isn’t afraid to try something revolutionary.

  • This perfume is a bomb. The salt-tonka bean combo is tremendous. It smells exquisite, has an impressive sillage, and great longevity. I get tons of compliments when I wear it. I love it!

  • Perfumaniaca 23

A bomb! Delicious, with exquisite vanilla, cypress freshness, and salt to fix everything. I ignored the bad reviews saying it smelled masculine, took a blind risk, and nailed it. Tremendous longevity, acceptable sillage, and smells totally original, outside the norm. I recommend it 100% if you’re an alternative, modern girl who isn’t afraid of something revolutionary.

  • Amparanoia

It drives me crazy and has become one of my favorites; I have many, but this one is special. The salt and tonka bean combination is spectacular. The World Intense is also very good.

  • I love it! It’s salty, sweet, with a fresh opening. On my skin, it lasts 7 hours with moderate sillage, and I can’t stop smelling myself all day.

  • MissOlores

Perfectly unisex fragrance. On my skin, after three hours, it smells totally masculine; as an anecdote, my boyfriend liked it. I call it ‘forest scent’; it smells like trees, juniper. I don’t feel salty or sweet notes, just woods and leaves. Not for me.

  • xakaranda

Wow, what a scent I love. Fresh opening that quickly turns warm due to the tonka bean mixed with sea salt; it’s incredible. Totally unisex; in fact, my husband uses it, and it develops better on him. Fixation and sillage are acceptable. Bought blind and nailed it.

  • Delicious, the best in the line, super long-lasting, rare, could be unisex. For the price, it matches the big brands in longevity and quality. Worth trying.

  • Kenzo World Power and the all-seeing eye. In my search for salty notes, I stumbled upon this third flanker, which struggled to establish itself due to accusations of being synthetic. Forget the bottle, which is totally criticized. I thought they’d discontinue it, but they doubled down with EDT, EDP Intense, and this EDP with a distinct concept. Unless they reformulate like Dior, they might survive. Salty perfumes are usually ‘feminine,’ so my rule is simple: I test them. Many don’t appeal to me except CK Reveal, Bvlgari Aqua Divina, and this Kenzo. Cedar, sea salt, and tonka bean. What could possibly go wrong? Nothing. Is it unisex? Resoundingly yes. I use what my skin approves and escape marketing labels. World Power has an opening that gives me a temporary allergy, but it’s worth sneezing for five minutes (perfect excuse to get shot at with a medical rifle for suspected COVID, haha). It’s simple, with three clear notes. The sea salt accentuates the other two. The cedar opening comes and goes, finally blending with the sweet tonka bean at the end: a stripped-back but delicious composition. The panopticon-style bottle won’t go down in history (we miss Karim Rashid), but it’s comfortable and the cap has charm. Good performance: projects up to eight hours, and longevity reaches eleven or twelve. It’s versatile; it can only be overwhelming during summer days. For the rest of the seasons, perfect for day and night.

  • CamiAckerman

Very rich. It never caught my eye before; I didn’t like the bottle and couldn’t imagine the notes. I gave it a chance and loved it. Kenzo World is sweet, spicy, green, and salty. It reminded me of Olympea due to the salt, but I’d say World Power is a finer, more elegant version. The salt is different: in Kenzo, I imagine it soft, like powdered sugar, whereas in Olympea, it’s coarser, like sea salt. Distinct yet similar; both are excellent, depending on what you enjoy more. Recommended to try.

  • Nefertiti03

Another fragrance that forces me to silence my ‘I don’t like sweet scents’ rule. I absolutely love it. I was given a sample and fell head over heels for that sweet/salty/green/deep blend. It captivated me, and I bought the bottle. It’s totally unisex; it looks great on my husband’s skin. Wish you could test it on skin before buying; I see it develops better with less cold—it was lighter in December than it is now in spring. I’ve worn it for seven hours, and both I and those around me can smell it. Hoping they don’t change the formula; it’s delicious.

  • Magaperfumera

A compliment generator. It’s magical because it makes me feel amazing and lifts my spirits. Fixation and sillage are excellent. I’m head over heels; it was love at second sniff.

  • A forgotten gem in a store. I smelled it when it first launched; it seemed nice but very masculine, so I passed. Then I read the notes, got intrigued, and went to test it. Holy cow, what a delight, what beauty! I see it as an oriental floral; it recalls La Vie Est Belle but isn’t loud or cheesy. I suspect the salt is what makes it different, giving it that masculine touch. It lasts all day—three sprays are more than enough. Buy it before they discontinue it, plus it’s super cheap online. Total win-win.

  • On my skin, it lasted only three hours in the cold, and evaporated quickly in the heat. A lovely aroma, perfect for personal enjoyment.

  • Top-tier fragrance. The cedar fades within seconds, but the sea salt and tonka bean linger beautifully. Long-lasting and projects well. Reminds me of Olympea due to the salty note, yet it’s less aggressive, free from any sweaty scent, and far more elegant. It’s a shame they’ve discontinued it.

  • What a pity… it promised so much thanks to that heavily hyped salty note, but in the end, it lacks guts, power, and edge. The opening and heart mean nothing to me. The dry-down is something else—a very close and pleasant CK Reveal—but so soft… I wish it lived up to its name and had real power, a wild twist on the salt and animalic notes. Then it would be almost perfect.

  • One of my summer perfumes. I don’t like bare citrus; this cypress, salt, and vanilla combo evokes my favorite beach from my teenage years, surrounded by cypress trees and warm sand dunes. Delicious.

  • Keila dominguez

I love this perfume. The salty note shines deliciously on my skin; I consider it an underrated treasure, perfect for spring and summer. Those three notes blend perfectly, with a lovely trail and good longevity.

  • Polytheneval

I already owned the World Intense and wanted to try the others, so I tested it in the store. I loved it. Less is more—few notes, great result. The opening is a green citrus that transitions to almost creamy, which I like. The salt is like salt in cooking: just right; it highlights the scent without overpowering it. In the end, there’s a sweetness I don’t know, probably the tonka bean. It has a subtle vibe, very slightly unisex. For longevity and sillage, I tested it on a tissue in the morning, put it in my bag, and by night the room was flooded with it—what a miracle!

  • Keila dominguez

I adore this perfume; the salty note shines beautifully on my skin. I consider it an underrated treasure, perfect for spring and summer. Those three notes combine perfectly, creating a fragrance with a very noticeable sillage and good longevity.

  • fleur parfumée

It makes me close my eyes every time I smell it… it’s salty and sweet at the same time, with an earthy base that awakens primal instincts.

  • Tonka bean and salt on overdrive. Correct but boring. I don’t like the herbal dry-down. Olympea Legend absolutely crushes this Kenzo World Power.

  • It has a hint of Olympea thanks to the salt and sweetness, with just three notes from start to finish. Unlike Olympea, the salt isn’t sharp here. The cypress adds freshness and a unisex vibe, while the tonka bean brings sweetness and presence. I also own the Kenzo World Intense, but this is my favorite. It lasts about six hours.

  • Strawberry_lilium

This is an offense to the nose. Such an overwhelming vanilla that gives me a headache; it smells like a butter cake.

  • I’d been wanting to try it for ages, and when I spotted it at my local department store, I went crazy to test it… but I discovered it just doesn’t work on my skin. I absolutely love salty notes, for real, but this smelled like rancid sweat on me and it was heartbreaking. That’s just how it is. I tested four perfumes I wanted, and none of them worked, so my wishlist has taken a huge hit.
