  • What a steal! It stole my heart. Super fresh and citrusy, and the best part is that it lasts all day. The note quality is top-notch, with those herbal and vetiver touches giving it real character. The projection is brutal, so I recommend it to everyone.

  • This is fantastic; I must say I’m in love with this fragrance. It’s very fresh, citrusy, and incredibly long-lasting, lasting all day. The quality is supreme in these notes; they’re herbal, it has vetiver, and it has great projection. I recommend it, friends.

As of today, Nio is the freshest, cleanest, most elegant, and longest-lasting citrus fragrance I’ve ever tried; without a doubt, the best. Imagine a very clean bergamot, hand in hand with the green freshness of vetiver and a base of white flowers, which after 5 or 6 hours remains as freshly applied, and gradually lets in a slightly creamy patchouli without losing the initial citrus freshness… and it keeps going, keeps going, and keeps going until night. It’s not soapy, it’s fresh, the dream of any citrus lover or anyone living in hot areas who needs to forget about over-application and maintain that fresh sensation all day and even to meet friends without having to stop by home. Perfect for any moment and occasion. I can only describe the quality of its ingredients as excellent; it’s worth getting it. Do the math, but for me, the numbers add up: two applications and you’re ready to play, much more cost-effective than other options that seem cheaper but don’t even come close to the quality and longevity of Xerjoff; this plays in a different league. Totally unisex. A particularly intense summer is forecast… at least don’t leave without trying it; I’ve already ordered mine.

Right now, Nio is the freshest, cleanest, and most elegant citrus jewel I’ve tried; without a doubt, the best. Imagine impeccable bergamot paired with the green freshness of vetiver and a white floral base that, after 5 or 6 hours, still feels brand new. Gradually, a creamy patchouli creeps in without losing that initial freshness… and so on until night. It doesn’t smell like soap; it’s pure freshness, the dream for anyone living in the heat who wants to forget about applying heavy perfume. Perfect for any moment. The ingredient quality is exquisite, totally worth it. Do the math: two sprays and you’re good, much more cost-effective than other options that don’t reach Xerjoff’s level. Totally unisex. An intense summer is coming… at least give it a try, I’ve already ordered mine.

  • The moment I tried it, one note came to my mind that absurdly dominated the others… Pure, hard cilantro, as if you were rubbing it against your skin. Super fresh, super pure, with great quality and nothing artificial. The bergamot citrus is perceived in the background, and very deep down, green notes. It’s during the dry-down when the magic of the rest of the notes appears. Undoubtedly a very different, very unisex scent for my taste, super fresh, ideal for summer days.

Spectacular and dazzling citrus fragrance, fresh, like cutting a lemon leaf peduncle with a few sparkling drops of freshly cut cilantro, and in the background a high-quality herbal vetiver. Fresh and soft white flowers balance the composition, and it lasts a long time. There’s something irresistible in its heart, probably the blend of cilantro with the fresh vetiver base alongside a fruity touch, slightly spicy, giving it a revitalizing and solar tone. This is a paradise in a hot summer and turns the heads of many modern fresh fragrances, many of which are very similar to each other.

Another Xerjoff masterpiece. One of the best colognes I’ve ever tried in my life. Like Kobe, they’re expensive, but I think the price is justified by the quality of the ingredients, longevity, and composition. I’ve never been a floral perfume person, and here you notice a very strong jasmine base that at first seems to make it more feminine than Kobe. But all the notes are interwoven with such mastery that they form a magnificent fresh-citrus-floral whole. It’s like attending a wonderful game between the components: now you notice more citrus, it seems more masculine; then you notice more flowers, it seems more feminine; again more citrus… and so on the whole time. It’s a wonderful unisex scent. Personally, I recommend it for heat, even extreme heat, because with the heat it’s as if the floral notes open up and, mixing with the citrus, produce an incredibly fresh and fragrant aroma. The hotter it gets, the more the scent opens, the fresher it smells, the more floral it becomes, the more fragrant it gets—it’s incredible. In its class, it’s among the best I’ve ever smelled in my life.

Incredible citrus. It’s like putting it on and tripling my happiness and freshness. A realistic citrus with woods, white flowers, and a soft spicy base. The thread tying it all together is the citrus, period. Plus, it transports me back to my childhood and my grandparents’ lemon tree. I’m pausing my review because I want to keep testing Xerjoff’s citrus line. Ideal for hot days, totally unisex, and performs amazingly well. Congratulations.

Incredible citrus fragrance. It’s like putting it on and instantly doubling happiness and tripling freshness. A realistic citrus with woods, white flowers, and a spicy base without being sharp. The thread tying it all together is the citrus; that’s it. Personally, it transports me to my childhood and the lemon tree at my grandparents’ house. I’m leaving this review on standby to continue testing Xerjoff citrus scents. Perfect for hot days, totally unisex, and performs very well. Congratulations.

  • I picked it up for about $240; the opening is exquisite and I loved it, but the performance leaves a lot to be desired. I’m not asking for beast mode, but it lasts 3 hours and fades to a skin scent. For that price, I’d like it to last at least 6 hours. I’ll keep testing it, but I doubt it will improve. That said, that opening is probably one of the richest perfumes I’ve ever smelled.

  • Smells like a super-realistic tangerine, with a green undertone. The scent is hyper-real but doesn’t last at all—literally 10 minutes and it’s gone. For much less money, I got the Pure Artisan with the same aroma and performance at less than half the price.

  • I picked it up for about $240. The opening is exquisite and I loved it, but the performance leaves a lot to be desired. I’m not asking for a beast mode, but at this price, it should last at least 6 hours; right now, it turns into a skin scent in 3. I’ll keep trying it, but I doubt it will improve. What I will say is that that opening is probably one of the richest scents I’ve ever smelled.

  • Citrusy, sharp, and green. With Xerjoff, something feels off: almost everything smells excessive. I’m not saying they lack quality, but that exuberance that sometimes impresses doesn’t always move me. It’s the opposite of Creed, whose less transgressive scents are more enchanting. Nio is no exception: it opens with very marked citrus and green notes with a slight bitterness. As it dries down, the citrus recedes but remains present, greenish and slightly more agreeable thanks to an almost invisible neroli. If you’re looking for performance, it satisfies, but as a pure cologne, there are better options: Acqua di Parma Colonia Essenza, Creed Pure White, or Sun Song by LV. I understand the touch of elegance in Alexandria II with its woods or the sweetness of Naxos that hooks others but repulses me, or the density of the neroli in Kobe. But in a fresh scent, whispers and breezes are valued, not shouts and spotlights. It’s a good perfume, well-constructed by engineers who perhaps lacked a poet.

  • I haven’t perceived any citrus in it; it’s pure grass or more specifically pure coriander or parsley. I don’t know if I’ve ended up liking it for so much green. Over time, the green intensity drops and it becomes slightly more pleasant, but then boom, it evaporates and nothing is left. It lasts a breath.

This cologne is super pleasant and hugs you with comfort, but unfortunately, it has the abysmal performance of Roja Perfums’ Elysium. I wouldn’t spend that much for so little. I’m not saying it lacks quality; it’s excellent, too pleasant, but it doesn’t last at all. In Brazil, there’s a house called JA Essences de la Vie with a perfume called Meteorite, a clear inspiration for Nio. I don’t care if many don’t like inspired or clone fragrances; for me, perfume is perfume. If I like it, I buy it. That inspiration is spectacular, with about 70% similarity, and its price doesn’t exceed $45 for 100 ml. What a pleasant perfume! It lasts over 10 hours projecting and leaves a trail for more than 3 hours. People already ask me what I’m wearing, and it smells so good, something that never happened with the original Nio. This is too good and cheap.

  • nachola32

In its aroma, I perceive a lot of citrus, a very bitter lemon, and green notes. I like the scent; it’s not crazy. The quality is very good. It projects well at the beginning, but the longevity is ridiculously low. It lasts less than any low-quality Arabic fragrance. It’s not worth paying such a huge sum for a perfume that doesn’t last more than 3 hours on skin. Luckily, I got a decant and not the full bottle.

It’s a super pleasant cologne that hugs you and gives comfort. The downside is it has the same abysmal performance as Roja Perfums’ Elysium. Honestly, I wouldn’t spend that much for so little; I’m not saying it lacks quality—it’s a fantastic and very pleasant fragrance—but it literally doesn’t last. Here in Brazil, there’s a house called JA Essences de la Vie that makes inspirations; they have one called Meteorite which is a clear copy of Nio. I don’t care if others dislike clones or replicas; for me, perfume is perfume. If I like it, I buy it, regardless of whether it’s cheap or branded. That inspiration is spectacular, with about 70% similarity, and costs less than $45 for 100 ml. What a great perfume! It lasts a long time, a fresh citrus that boosts your confidence. On my skin, it projects over 10 hours with a trail lasting more than 3 hours. People have already asked what I’m wearing and it smells so good, something that never happened with the original Nio. This is too good and ridiculously cheap.

This review will be brief but incisive. Nio, the name of a comet, that’s how it hits you: you open a typical Xerjoff box and inside there’s an envelope with a piece of meteorite and a note with its origin and certificate. My sensations are cleanliness, tidiness, and a longing for childhood; this perfume always reminds me of those days, with that delicious citrus scent and a bit soapy. I find it clean, like citrus soap, very pleasant to wear in heat or in winter after a shower. Maybe it doesn’t project much on me; it lasts about six hours projecting moderately and then stays in a personal bubble of happiness. My reflection: if you find it at a good price, will you mind that it doesn’t project in best mode for 4.5 or 6 hours? Personally, I don’t care. When a perfume conveys something and you feel good, the rest doesn’t matter. Why do we want it to last longer? Not always is the goal to project 8 or 10 hours. If you like it and have the money, enjoy it. How much money do you spend on a night out? The same or more than this Nio, and those nights don’t last as long as Nio. Enjoy it without thinking.

  • nneestorr

In my opinion, it’s unisex. I loved the opening, just the opposite of the dry-down. Don’t buy blind; test it on your skin first.

  • On my skin, it’s unisex leaning masculine. Since it says it’s for men, yes, I totally agree. Fresh, clean, ethereal, and comfortable. The floral touch is pleasant, and the earthy part isn’t harsh or too dry. I wouldn’t buy it because I perceive it as masculine. For men, it works; it’s discreet and elegant, but not special. A safe bet for daily wear, more summer or mild weather.

Exploring niche fragrances is fun, though at 4.5 € per ml, not everything fits the budget. This Nio caught my eye for the neroli, ideal for summer: simple, timeless, and combined with white flowers or spices, it shines. The neroli is the star from the very first second, though the other notes in the opening don’t stand out much. The composition is round, sparkling, fresh, and carefree. The base is atypical for summer: creamy and very green. It’s not overwhelming, pleasant, and wearable into the evening, with a subtly sweet touch for those who shy away from common freshness. The critique: between 30 minutes and an hour, it fades significantly and becomes a soft skin scent, hard to detect without bringing your nose close. It’s a shame for this price. Filling it out would be a waste of 4.5 € per ml. In niche, with these prices, expectations rise. If you’re looking for a pleasant summer scent and money isn’t an issue, give it a try.

  • I don’t know if this is known in Europe, but here we have something called vinaigrette, a dressing of vinegar, lemon, and pepper. The thing is, this scent smells like lettuce with vinaigrette. For me, it’s not bad, but I wouldn’t buy an expensive fragrance just to smell like lemon salad. The day I tried it, my friends thought the same: they didn’t like it. It’s the same as with Eros Energy; the citrus isn’t well-balanced and is sharp to the point of being annoying, even being realistic. There are a thousand better lemon fragrances, like Torino 21.

My definitive niche perfume for summer. What a great discovery thanks to ChatGPT! On my skin, it lasts over 8 hours with an elegant trail. It’s like wearing white linen, a Rolex Submariner, and strolling along the Amalfi Coast at sunset. For a citrus, the longevity is extraordinary. What conquered me was personal: in my childhood, I lived in a house with a lemon and mandarin tree courtyard. Upon trying it, it transported me back to those days. It was so powerful that the next day I went to buy it. Without a doubt, my summer niche.

  • The experience is pure escape: it smells like a hammock clip with lemonade on a sunny day, freshly cut grass, and tree shade. It’s not just a grassy scent; it’s that niche quality that evolves perfectly with its notes. It feels mature and elegant, a personal aroma like a second skin that lingers for a long time. I used 5 sprays; the first two hours are intense with citrus and greens, then it dries down to cardamom, pepper, and jasmine for another two (more personal), finishing with a marked cedar that adds elegance. On my skin, it lasted over 10 hours, waxing and waning. Brutal. Note: not for daily wear due to the price; it’s for special outings or beach days in the heat.
