I see who votes for similarity to Oud Minerale and they’re right, it happened to me too. The opening smells rich and original, but the drydown on my skin wasn’t a hit: it smells like you just took a bath in the Dead Sea (the salt sticking in your nose) in a not-so-clean beach area. The name fits perfectly; it’s like you ran, sweated, and then bathed in a sea too salty with algae, carrying that salty but not clean scent. With Tom Ford’s Oud Minerale, it was similar, but I think this Wet Stone is slightly more pleasant or better composed.
Notable fragrance.
Good perfume, very pleasant to wear; its scent relaxes and gives a sense of well-being. It has moderate projection and sillage, ideal for the office; you’ll smell great and fresh. Longevity is about 6 hours, which isn’t bad, though there are others in the same style that perform better. Price 7/10 (can vary, sometimes on promotion). Scent 9/10. Projection and sillage 7/10. Longevity 7/10. Overall rating 7.5/10.
A truly unique fragrance. While it shares DNA with Oud Minerale, this one is like the dark side and Wet Stone the radiant, bright, and luminous side. It’s jovial, serious, and has a lot of presence, not exactly ‘sweet’. If you like masculine, salty, and woody perfumes, this is a must-try.
What a peculiar perfume, Wet Stone. For me, it’s like receiving the breeze from a rocky cliff by the sea, where a very particular mineral scent stands out, wrapped in ginger, orange, and cardamomo. It’s a spectacle; it makes you feel very fresh. Performance is 6-7 hours, but I don’t mind reapplying. It’s one of the best perfumes I’ve smelled in my exploration of the fragrance world.

The name says it all, but the experience is more complex. Imagine standing in a covered courtyard during a torrential rainstorm, the air humid but not suffocating. Upon application, you get soft citrus notes that fade quickly, giving way to a Calone avalanche smelling of sea breeze with a floral touch. It’s never sparkling, and the notes are a bit soft. Ginger and cardamom provide aromatic freshness, evoking a rocky coast with vegetation and a woody base that offers acceptable depth, featuring green-herbaceous facets and a hint of oud. The good news is it doesn’t smell like rotting algae or anything weird; it makes me feel good. Honestly, I don’t think it’s much better than some designer aquatic that costs half as much.

It’s a fragrance that evokes summer, super fresh and comforting. Have you ever tried grapefruit soda with salt, lemon, and lots of ice? Well, this is a living ‘Rusa,’ with that fizzy sensation. The only flaw is the price, which is quite expensive in Mexico, and that the projection is low. Still, it’s one of the best perfumes I’ve ever tried, and I’m even thinking of buying a backup bottle. 10/10
Marine, complex, sophisticated, and elegant. It starts spicy with bitter citrus, ginger, and cardamomo. As it dries down, the ambered base with woods makes the experience pleasant. After an hour, in the development phase, it becomes a delight with earthy notes of patchouli, vetiver, and that salty touch. It’s not like Acqua di Gio or Acqua di Sale; it has something different, a creamy and talc-like sensation with lots of depth. From the White Woods collection, it’s one of my favorites. It’s versatile, wearable all year except in winter. Perfect for an energy boost, completely unisex for those over 25, ideal with a white linen shirt on a spring or summer afternoon. Scent 7.5/10, Sillage 6.5/10, Projection 6.5/10, Longevity 7.5/10.
