  • It’s delicious; I’m going for my fourth bottle, and sadly the fragrance is no longer the same as the first and second ones I bought; it doesn’t last long and doesn’t feel like before. With the third bottle, I thought maybe it was that batch, but I bought it again and coincidentally it was the same. However, the summer version they’re promoting, when I tried it, reminded me a lot of the first time I felt the traditional one. I don’t think I’ll insist anymore with this one, which used to be one of my favorites.

  • So much rose given to this perfume! I tried it in perfumeries and it dried down like floor cleaner, horrible. I said, okay, I’ll try again, but the same result, a disappointment because I love the name and the packaging; it reminds me of L’Eau Par Kenzo, which I used years ago and was a gem for me.

I’m still mad at the fragrance because for the price you pay, you have the right to demand quality, that it lasts, that it projects, and everything a perfume is supposed to offer. Anyway, the truth is that I was so angry when I bought it that I sprayed and reapplied it so many times to feel its presence. After keeping it stored for a year and a half, I took it out; I think the maceration helped the fixatives concentrate or something like that; the truth is it smells better than it did a year and a half ago, but it’s not the case that the consumer should continue the process to get a good product. Anyway, I’m leaving this anecdote in case it helps with this fragrance.

  • Lemon ice cream, gentle breezes on the beach, feeling the salty water of the sea… It’s the perfect definition of an Italian summer or a Mediterranean vacation. Citrus, clean, aquatic, bright, cheerful, balanced… an instant classic. It can be informal or elegant since it’s a versatile scent. It’s ideal for using on a sunny day or at a distinguished dinner near the beach. But to be fair, I have to point out the three negative aspects I’ve identified: The first is longevity; I’d like it to last longer, it lasts less than three hours. The second is that it’s overused and has many copies and inspirations, as it’s often a scent found in popular knowledge. Some of us have perceived that scent at some point in our lives. And finally, the packaging; given its price, it could be more attractive; I understand its minimalist concept to a certain extent, but I think it deserves better packaging to represent the beauty it is. Aside from that, it deserves all the recognition it has and deserves to be among the best perfumes of all time; it marked a milestone in perfumery history. A marvel.

The problem with this fragrance is that the scent fades quickly. It’s delicious to me; I’ve had it twice, but I’m thinking of buying it again because it doesn’t last on the skin; they should improve the fixative, even if it costs more.

  • Is it a cliché perfume? Yes… Does it lack personality? Also… Does it smell like a middle-class vacation spot? Maybe… Can you detect synthetic notes? Of course, but I still love it. I don’t know which synthetic note has an effect on me equivalent to monosodium glutamate in food; it’s addictive, so I didn’t rest until my husband gifted it to me for my birthday. I’m saving it for spring-summer 2025 and I know I’ll enjoy it a lot… though I don’t know if my taste for it will last long or short. Lately, when a perfume becomes prose to my palate, I mix it with other scents in my collection. I’m craving to add Guerlain’s Nerolia Vetiver, Marc Jacobs’ Daisy Dream, and Jo Malone’s Earl Grey & Cucumber to it.

  • It’s fun to think that some women are more Light Blue and others are more Acqua Di Gioia, all depending on whether you prefer lime or lemon. Personally, Acqua Di Gioia is my favorite summer perfume and I’d use it forever. Light Blue has a well-presented lemon that’s by no means unpleasant; it’s not as sweet as ADG but definitely not “cold” like a white floral perfume. The apple note does its thing without overshadowing the lemon. Since it has a more marked freshness, I think it would be more bearable than ADG in very high temperatures (I don’t use ADG above 30 degrees; that’s where Angel Nova comes in). The rose note truly doesn’t show up on my skin, and I don’t think the perfume needs it. I’m not sure if it’s a true “clean” scent, but it is fresh and feminine, excellent for summer. It’s worth a try.

  • I tried it today and can only say that the strong Sicilian lemon in the first 5 minutes was amazing, but then I was left with an intense apple and bamboo scent. It’s a very strong and sweet fragrance; I thought it would be fresher and that’s how it seemed. I liked it at first, but on my skin it feels too intense and sweet, which I didn’t like.

  • I asked my boyfriend to rate it and he gave it a 6.9. He said it needed a citrus touch, isn’t very potent, but it’s not bad. I absolutely love it for summer; it reminds me of Limoncello liqueur.

  • I gifted it to my wife because I love that aroma: fresh citrus with floral and green notes. It’s subtle but consistent. Unlike the men’s version, it lasts over five hours. It’s a classic, and despite the years, I’m still thrilled to smell it in the summer.

  • Finally tried this perfume with all the hype, and honestly, I didn’t think much of it. It smells like lemon ice cream, that’s it. It feels very close to the skin and after an hour, you can’t even tell it’s there. In Argentina, it’s super expensive and not worth it with so many cheap dupes available.

  • A cult classic woody-musked citrus, which is why it’s so popular. It’s fairly unisex, but the floral notes keep it slightly feminine. I’m a citrus lover and I like it a lot, but it lacks good longevity, fixation, and projection. Add to that the excessive price. Applying it is a refreshing pleasure that lasts minutes and stays close to the skin for about three hours. I’ve used it for years, I like it, but I won’t buy it again. I’d recommend the Intense version; it smells the same, projects more, and you can tell the difference, though I’m not sure if it lasts longer.

  • So far, the best citrus I’ve tried that’s feminine; that didn’t stop me from buying it. Great for summer, 10/10.

What can I say about Light Blue if not that it’s one of the best feminine citrus scents? It smells like clean laundry and lemon ice cream. I’m a fan of citrus in the summer and it never disappoints. It’s a mix of freshness, tranquility, and sensuality that transports you to the countryside. A must-have on my shelf.

A modern perfumery classic. Fresh citrus, charming, and versatile. It’s the epitome of summer and heat. It crushes those bitter, boring masculine scents. Totally unisex, like CK One, the heir to Mediterranean Italian colognes. I see it as more unisex than many current masculine aromas with hints of vanilla, caramel, or jasmine for long-haired gentlemen. Insane. Naturally, being a pop citrus, it doesn’t last long: max 3-4 hours with a weak sillage, but I’d rather have it than other expensive fragrances that smell like a nightmare.

  • One of the best fresh scents out there… I live where it’s 30 degrees Celsius and wow, this fragrance is perfect. I’ve tried other citrus ones but always come back to this. It gives me a sense of cleanliness and energy. What’s the point of costing so much if it doesn’t last? So what? It lasts about as long as a soccer game, maybe two hours, and they charge ridiculous prices. Yeah, it doesn’t last long, but it’s worth it.

  • I’m going to get in trouble for this, but it’s the truth 😅. I’ve never been a lemon fan; to me, it smells like bathroom cleaner. If you like it, sure, it smells like fresh lemon and hits hard in the heat, but it lasts almost nothing. I wouldn’t wear it again. I don’t get the hype; it seems like a normal, boring fragrance. Plus, I hate smelling like a bathroom air freshener.

  • Personally, nothing spectacular about this fragrance. It’s a lemon perfume, but like a lemon just cut in half. If I were to ask, despite the amazing reviews on social media, I wouldn’t buy it again.

  • Short and sweet: a citrus scent with a lovely woody touch, but it fades within an hour. Maybe it’s my skin, but it’s super energizing and clean—perfect for summer. It’s beautiful and classic, though some citrus scents last longer.

  • Have you ever eaten a lemon with salt? This perfume reminds me of that; it makes my mouth water. If I could eat it, it would taste exactly like that. The problem is it evokes more sensations in the mouth than the nose; the one time I saw someone wear it, it smelled like armpits. It’s a citrus that doesn’t smell clean, but rather sour.

  • My boyfriend got it for me and I really like it. The opening is quite citrusy, smells like someone is eating an orange in a closed room, haha. Then it starts to smell a bit woody. It’s very pleasant, doesn’t smell heavy or like floor cleaner like I’ve read. Ideal for warm climates. The downside is it doesn’t last long, but it’s worth it if you like unisex citrus scents.

  • I bought this with high expectations based on the reviews, and it disappointed me: it doesn’t last on my skin, and the longevity is extremely short, if not non-existent.

  • It’s for everyday wear, not special occasions. It’s pleasant, with a subtle but rich citrus vibe. The longevity is decent, though it’s not the kind of perfume that makes you stand out when you walk by.

  • It’s one of my favorite perfumes. Smells clean and very elegant. Pity that it doesn’t last long on the skin.

  • I bought it because the reviews said I’d like it, but it was a huge letdown. It doesn’t last on my skin at all. The tiny bit of kitchen lemon scent you get when spraying it vanishes in three seconds. Waste of money, stay away.

  • Not sure if it’s for everyone, but that woody lemon note transports you straight to Italy. 10/10.

  • Not everyone is a citrus team, but I absolutely love it. One of my favorites for that sparkling opening of lemon and green apple; it projects really well on my skin. Perfect for everyday wear: soft, fresh, and smells clean. Don’t expect complexity here because it doesn’t have any.

  • This is a perfume I will never buy again because I simply will never finish it N U N C A 🫠. I bought it blind because I heard good reviews and didn’t know this site with more honest opinions yet. It smells like a baby diaper with pee; I don’t know who would recommend it or even my worst enemy… smelling it is torture. I’m just keeping it because it’s part of my collection and nothing more.

  • This perfume is so fake that I recommend buying it in-store. If you find a super low price on eBay or Facebook, it’s probably fake, so be careful.

  • It’s 90% citrus, with a sparkling, super-dominant lemon note right when you spray it. The other 10% feels sweet, probably from the floral and apple notes… My nose isn’t trained yet 😅. Ideal for the heat, pity its projection is so weak. After two hours, it’s just skin scent. If you buy it blind, I recommend it only if you love citrus; otherwise, it will be a huge disappointment.

  • It was a blind buy; I went along with social media reviews. It is fresh, yes, and the lemon 🍋 and apple 🍏 stand out a lot. But I won’t buy it again; it gives me the same vibe as the fabulous Green, that citrus one.

  • I know it’s a totally overused perfume, but wow, what a marvel, what a trail for a fresh fruity scent. Olivier Cresp never disappoints, and I don’t care if I smell the same as everyone else (I think it’s the most viral perfume I can remember); it’s a masterpiece.

  • I liked it, but it falls short. It gives me a feeling of excessive alcohol. Anyway, I only notice three scents: citrus (the dominant one), fresh, and then after an hour, musky. I wish it lasted longer, left a trail, not just in the first few minutes, and lastly, that I didn’t have to spray it more than 7 times to smell good.

  • marianaaimeeev

I love this fragrance; it’s super fun. At first, it smells lovely with a pleasant blend of lemon and green apple, but as it settles, the lemon mixes with an amber and wood heart. In my opinion, it’s a daytime scent, quite fresh and versatile—it feels like the perfect summer perfume. A great blind buy.

  • metroidsoldier

I tried it in-store and it smelled like lemon; it reminded me of the original Avon 300 Km, but this one is fresher.

  • Clari Soriano

A delicious fragrance that must be in your collection ❤️🫠. It’s as fresh as they come, which is why there are so many clones out there.

  • Bought it as a gift about 5-6 years ago and still have a little left. Smells like intense, fresh, clean lemon, though it doesn’t last as long as I expected. It’s a notable fragrance; during the day the lemon tastes more bitter, and I preferred it in colder climates. After years of storage, the scent and intensity have changed completely, with much stronger woody and amber notes giving it a more mature profile.
