Descripción
Light Blue Summer Vibes by Dolce&Gabbana is a musky floral woody fragrance for women. Launched in 2023, this olfactive composition was created by Olivier Cresp. The top note features the freshness of Calabrian bergamot, giving way to a heart of peach, while the base settles on the warm wood of cedar.

This version is even fruitier than the original: coconut, pear, raspberry, and blackcurrant, which I find more appealing. It’s very close to Light Blue Intense. I’m glad D&G handles their fragrances directly themselves because the care is palpable. I’d buy it without hesitation for my collection. The packaging is gorgeous with that iconic fabric design. It smells juicy and feminine. Recommended despite the short longevity. Perfect as a gift 🎁💕
Since I love Light Blue in its other facets, I didn’t waste time trying this and… oh, disappointment, it smells like pure cilantro to me! I swear the first thing I did was look up its main notes here, and to my surprise, that little herb doesn’t appear among them. I have to clarify that I belong to that ‘not so small’ group of the population that hates cilantro because of a gene that makes us perceive the aldehydes in its composition, turning every dish with it as an ingredient into a soapy combination. The same happens with its scent, which is closer to bleach detergents than the herbal freshness it tries to emulate. I don’t want to disillusion the rest of the planet with this. The problem is mine personally, but still, and just for precaution, I advise anyone with an aversion to the spice in question to go to a perfume store and try it first.
Looking for something new, I found this version of Light Blue. The blue ceramic bottle instantly gave me Mediterranean vibes. It smells citrusy at first, then shifts to something fruity and creamy without losing its freshness. It’s very similar to the original but softer, and over time it gains a woody touch, though it stays light. It lasts about 6-7 hours with a moderate trail that holds up all day. It reminds me of summer, parties, and that cocktail at the beach bar. I loved it because it brought back memories of my vacation in Turkey with my boyfriend.

From my personal opinion, since I already have Lush Avocado in my collection… I think it’s unnecessary to own this Light Blue. Also, the Lush body spray knocks this out of the park in both longevity and everything else. Both are citrus with a ‘lemon cake’ touch. Although it’s very rich, this Light Blue has come out, as usual, very light 😆.
SUMMER HAS NO GENDER, period. In all caps, let no one sell you the idea that this is purely feminine because it’s a lie. Does it look incredible on women? Absolutely, but it works on men too, believe me. Fruity aroma, very fresh, and screams ‘summer’ from every angle. I’ve worn it, and besides being a total hit, in my opinion, it’s much better than its male version, which is bland. It lasts longer and tastes better. This is how it should be. RESULT: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ☆ ☆
🔎👃🏻 SUMMER HAS NO GENDER 👃🏻🔍 UNISEX, in all caps and with all the letters, so don’t try to sell me that this is purely feminine because it’s a lie. What looks incredible on women? Undoubtedly, but on a man too, believe me. Fruity aroma, very fresh, and it screams ‘summer’ from all sides. I’ve worn it, and apart from being a huge hit and, in my opinion, much better than its boring male version, it lasts and pleases more. This is it. RESULT: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ☆ ☆
Thanks D&G! The constant complaint was that Light Blue didn’t last or project, and here it’s been resolved a bit. Do they smell similar? Yes. Do they smell the same? No. Does it last longer? Yes. In this one, you’ll find a 3-hour longevity versus half an hour or less of the original version. Citrus, woody, and with a sweet spark. That bergamot is divine, with that rich, juicy lime aroma. With a spark of sweet peach. One of my favorites for this heatwave.
Well, the truth is I tried it today and bought it. I had the 2001 original, and in my opinion, this is identical in scent. The 2001 original had a creaminess that the current version hasn’t had for years. This Summer Vibes has it; for me, it returns to the roots. One spray at 1:00 PM and it’s still intact at 5:30 PM. For the nostalgics of the 2001 LB, I recommend it.
A simple, fresh, summery, and clean aroma. It has everything to be a summer star perfume, one of the few today that are ‘clean’ scents smelling like ‘just out of the shower’ but that maintain the feminine and sophisticated touch that only a perfume can give. I wear it with great joy; it infects me with that summer glow, that sunlight streaming through the window in the mornings, that good mood. It has a citrus opening that fades to reveal the peach with a woody base. It’s a perfume that I can’t be without in the mornings and on very hot days. I love it. It reminds me a lot of a discontinued Cannon perfume from my country called ‘Sens’ (the bottle looked like a green drop), which I used back in 2010/2011 if I remember correctly. And curiously, maybe this was a copy of the original Light Blue and I didn’t know it.
I bought a Light Blue after reminding myself a thousand times that they don’t last on my skin. I tested it at a perfume store in the middle of a heatwave, and it made me feel so fresh and pleasant that I couldn’t help but buy it. Then, at home and after several days, I’m still enchanted by how this flanker smells, very similar to the original. But the truth is, it lasts about as long as it takes me to leave the house and get to the front door… I’m literally wasting euros by the second, haha.

Since I love Light Blue, I had to try this version. Summer vibes is everything Light Blue is but with a creamy twist and more ‘vanilla-y’. I’m surprised by its composition of just 3 notes versus the original because they really smell identical, except when it dries down you get a creamy peach; on skin, it reminds me of those sweets in Mexico called ‘Sugus’. I loved it, no denying it. It’s gorgeous, and although I’m not one to own the original or its flankers because they’re often not worth it, this time I’m making an exception because I can’t handle so many delicious scents. Please, D&G, make these jewels last longer!!
Yes, I love Light Blue, so I absolutely had to try this version. Summer Vibes is everything Light Blue is, but with a creamy twist and a more apricot note. I’m surprised by its composition of just three notes versus Light Blue because they smell identical, except when it dries down, it feels like a creamy peach; on my skin, it reminds me of those Mexican candies called ‘Sugus’. I loved it, no denying it. It’s gorgeous. Even though I’m not one to own the original perfume or its flankers because they often aren’t worth it, this time I’m making an exception because I can’t get enough of such a delicious scent. Please, D&G, make these gems last longer!!
I love this fragrance as much as I suffer from how it disappears in just 30 minutes. I don’t know if I stop smelling it or if it truly vanishes, but that’s the reason I haven’t added it to my collection yet, despite being one of the scents I adore most for summer. It’s fresh, lovely, sweeter, and fruitier than Light Blue. Personally, I like it much more. But the fact that it lasts a mere breath brings me to the streets of bitterness. I’m not ruling out falling for the temptation anyway… 😔
I love this fragrance as much as I suffer from how it disappears in just 30 minutes. I don’t know if I stop smelling it or if it just fades away, but that’s why I still haven’t bought it despite it being one of my all-time favorite summer scents. It’s fresh, lovely, sweeter, and fruitier than Light Blue. Personally, I like it much more. But that longevity is a breath, which sends me down the wretched path. I still might fall for it though… 😔
This EDT is a gem for anyone who loves fresh and fruity scents. From the first spray, it vibrates with fresh fruits and a sweet touch that’s addictive. I’m head over heels for it. It blends the freshness of bergamot with juicy peach over a musk base, creating something enveloping and long-lasting. Even though it’s an EDT, it surprises with its longevity, but I love reapplying it every two hours to revive that intense, refreshing trail I enjoy so much.
This Light Blue is almost identical to the first one, except it doesn’t feel as woody, but the lemon opening is identical. Rich as my beloved original, fresh, sophisticated, clean, and nothing complicated for those who like fruity citrus scents.
In my opinion, the best citrus for women. It’s fantastic. I wish it lasted longer and was stronger. The nectarine could be more prominent in the dry down.
I wanted to try it because I truly love Light Blue, but since the pandemic I can’t handle perfumes with cedar. I had the classic twice, then bought the Intense version and the only thing I perceived was the cedar wood that was digging into my nostrils; I ended up gifting it. I wish this flanker had musk instead of cedar; that would be great and make it even cleaner; still, I don’t doubt I’ll fall for the temptation. Edit: Well, I did buy it hahaha, what a beautiful fragrance; with just three notes they managed to match the aroma of the classic LB but without the piercing cedar. This version is much creamier but with the LB signature; its longevity is very good, about 6 hours on skin and clothes, then right on the skin. I’m definitely sticking with this flanker, hoping they don’t discontinue it as they usually do.
I liked this flanker a bit more than the original because, especially in the opening, it feels more present and fruitier (unlike the original which smells like pure lemon). It’s not bad; it’s ideal for very hot days and the packaging is very pretty, but honestly, it’s nothing special. There are tons of perfumes that smell very similar, project more, last longer, and are much cheaper. Honestly, I wouldn’t buy it.
I think this is now the Light Blue I like the most. That peach note tames the intense citrus that characterizes it. It’s still similar but more balanced. I wish it lasted longer because on me it only lasts 3-4 hours. I’m not complaining because I paid about 33,000 Chilean pesos (approx. $33 USD) for the 100ml in a free trade zone, so at that price, I have no problem. It reminds me a lot of Creed’s Acqua Fiorentina, with that citrus blended with sweet notes that soften the sharpness.
Ahh, what a delight! First, an amazing citrus that awakens the nose without being offensive, followed by an incredibly sweet peach that never gets cloying because it’s tinted with bergamot. I bought it during an irresistible deal, blind, trusting LB and D&G, and it was a great success.
Ahh, what a delight! First, a rich citrus that wakes up the nose without being offensive, followed by an incredibly sweet peach that doesn’t get cloying because it’s tinted with bergamot. I bought it at an irresistible blind sale, trusting LB and D&G, and it was a huge hit.
I was very disappointed. I expected a peach and citrus mix, but it turned out different. It smells like Moschino’s I Love Love and Halloween’s Blue Drop, they’re like siblings, so if you have one, you can skip the other. It smells fresh and sweet at the same time, but with three notes it’s still very much the same thing and super synthetic. Let’s not talk about longevity; I applied it half an hour ago and I can only smell it right on my skin; since it’s an EDT, maybe that’s expected, but you can find better things for the price.
What a disappointment! I bought it on sale without smelling it because I know the classic Light Blue well. I sprayed it and had to press my nose to my arm to feel it, and even then it seemed like I’d just splashed water with a little lemon. One thing is that it doesn’t last all day, since it’s citrus and we all know that. Another is completely different: it doesn’t project any scent even right after application. I was extremely surprised for the worse.

Another very different thing is that it doesn’t project any scent even at the moment of spraying, which surprised me greatly for the worse.
You need a thousand sprays for it to be noticeable; the lemon is rich, yes. It lasts a breath, just enough for people to smell it up close. But it works for layering—I combined it with Lattafa’s Victoria and ended up with a much more potent lemon scent.
For me, this is a pure grapefruit citrus, exactly what I wanted: natural, fresh, with a sweet touch that cleanses and energizes. Although it’s not listed in the notes, it perfectly evokes that vibe in the opening. Citrus doesn’t need to be complex; it just needs to be polished and balanced, and they nail it here. It feels woody, sober, and clean, with a soft fruity nuance reminiscent of velvety skin rather than sweet pulp. Don’t expect epic longevity because that’s not its role. It’s made to refresh and revitalize, ideal for hot days. It’s light, clean, and discreet, perfect for daily wear.
