The Eau de Parfum version of K is good and affordable. It stands out for its scent, but it’s not for extreme heat; better for spring or summer nights, as it’s too sweet for a summer day but not for winter or autumn. It starts with a zesty citrus breeze, moves to a juicy fruity accord of fig, and finishes with spicy woods. Lasts 5-6 hours on skin with medium projection.
Citrus opening with a sweet and creamy touch… very rich. The longevity and projection performance seem just right, but the original scent is excellent.
Sober and creamy scent, fresh and perfect for daily life, though I wouldn’t use it in much heat. It reminds me a lot of Kenzo EDT Intense for that fig note, which for me is exquisite.
This perfume speaks for itself: it’s the first one I bought with my own money and I think there wasn’t a better option. I love its sweet and spicy opening that evolves into woods. It’s versatile for everything: school, work, dates, parties, heat, or cold. I recommend it blindly; it was love at first sight. Decent performance: with a single spray it projects 2-3 hours and lasts 6-7 on skin. If it runs out, I’ll buy it again without a doubt.
Does anyone else smell sweat in this fragrance? I tried it on the wrist on sale, and although it’s 200ml, using it gives me that sensation. It happens with this one and the classic Male from the 146 perfumes I own.
I’ve had it for exactly a month, used it quite a bit, and I’m very satisfied. Original scent with that creamy fig and a blood orange citrus opening that gives it a peculiar and addictive touch. This creamy and citrusy mix lasts spectacularly for the first 30 minutes projecting; then in the dry down, the creamy side with woody notes remains. These changes make it versatile, but I notice it’s for night and temperate climates. On a date, I think you step into a different angle, since that peculiar scent I don’t recall from another perfume; it has some resemblance to Kenzo Homme EDP but little more, because there the fig is citrusy or refreshing, not creamy like here. It’s not very sweet but has its touches. Moderate longevity but doesn’t stop surprising; with my pH it lasts about 7 hours in enclosed places, outside it can last less. Projects strongly for the first hour and a half, then fades giving moderate bursts. In summary, it’s a very good perfume, very underrated.
Good fragrance, a distinct scent I haven’t heard equal (neither in the EDT nor INTENSE versions). It’s the blue I check first when I don’t know what to wear. Sweet but not cloying, and I think for night you need more spray. It’s perfect for everything except formal events; in winter it suffers because it’s not too sweet or overwhelming, it’s fresher. Summer is its best season, just like spring. Like Le Beau Le Parfum, they’re good for going out partying in summer. It’s not for extreme heat or the beach, but between 23 and 26 degrees you don’t suffocate (if it’s hotter, look for another option). For the beach, starting at 5pm as the sun goes down, it’s the best time. Fresh and delicious sensation with that fig note that stands out, plus I detect black pepper and blood orange. For the price, it’s worth it. Scent: 8/10 (has a different twist than other blues). Longevity: 7/10 (6-7 hours). Projection: 6.5/10 (noticeable with more than 8 sprays). Compliments: 7.5/10 (I’ve received them, more at night than during the day, and in summer).
It’s one of my best bets if you’re looking to stand out with a masculine and sexy scent; besides its good projection, everyone loves it. I’d describe it as fruity and floral, but it leans more towards a clean scent than a tropical one, which is why many women adore it. Thanks to that clean sensation, it reminds me of a sporty shower gel, but without the synthetic feel, giving it a more elegant character. Also, that blend makes me perceive an aquatic accord similar to Davidoff’s Cool Water, though it’s not outdated; in fact, it’s quite youthful. I use and recommend it in spring, due to its fruity/floral character that evokes that season; it also goes great in summer because it’s fresh and doesn’t suffocate in extreme heat, except with overapplication (12-15 sprays). It can extend into autumn because it’s not citrusy and doesn’t go unnoticed in the cold. It’s versatile: it works for daily life due to its easygoing scent and for elegant settings like business dinners or events like weddings or birthdays. Plus, thanks to its seductive character, it never fails on a date. Personally, I recommend buying it if you don’t have many fragrances; if you already have a similar one, skip the purchase or swap it for this, depending on which you like more.
I don’t know if my batch came out perfect, but here’s what I can tell you: I measure my perfume longevity thanks to my motorcycle. How? I go almost daily to see my partner, apply the perfume at home, and after 5-10 km at good speed on the bike, only 3 or 4 fragrances from my entire collection still smell despite the wind blasts at 70-90 km/h. This Dolce & Gabbana K EDP is one of them. Upon arrival, fighting against the wind, it’s one of the few along with 9PM, Kenzo Homme EDP, and CDN Intense that persists on the skin. If the scent doesn’t convince you, at least take this comment so you’ll buy it for the longevity.
The K EDP didn’t like me at first; even that fig made me a bit dizzy, but over time I understood it and now I like it quite a bit. It’s masculine, intriguing, for daily wear, and has personality. Longevity and projection are moderate, neither very good nor very bad. Now it’s rich, serves as a signature scent, lasts longer than the EDT, projects more, and has a mysterious smell. Personally, I lean towards the K EDP Intense for that subtle leather note. Should I recommend it? Absolutely, if you’re looking for a masculine, mysterious, and flirtatious perfume, it’s yours.
Thanks to this perfume, I started my journey into the world of scents. My cousin and I went to a store to try new things, and this one on the paper just blew my mind. It’s woody, aromatic, crisp, slightly sweet, and has an earthy touch. Over the years, I’ve tried more and discovered that blue fragrances are my favorites, but this was a controversial and disappointing experience compared to others, as it made me realize there are more exquisite and refined options like YSL EDP, ADG Profundo, or Sauvage EDT. I have a huge soft spot for it, but honestly, you have to like things different to buy something like this; take its own path as a blue, distinct from the others mentioned. Overall, I give it an 8/10: it’s a rich scent that many people love (I’ve received several compliments), though I think the price is a bit high because I care about projection. If you like personal bubble scents, it’s an excellent option. Lasts about 6 to 8 hours max.
It’s different but I found it meh. I tried it looking for something woody with a blue touch, but not the typical aquatic vibe. It delivers a fresh and rich opening, somewhat citrusy; I think it’s the chili and berries that make it different and rich. My issue was the dry down: basically very light fig with a prominent lavender. It felt meh to me because it lost its initial freshness and turned a bit sweet and powdery (floral). Overall, I find it clean; I don’t think it’s for very hot days, but it has an essence to be liked. I believe you should try before buying; D&G has a rich and original line that I love, but this one just isn’t for me.
Starts with a citrus that tickles the nose nicely. After 10 minutes, it settles close to the skin and becomes hard to perceive. Then it smells like fig with marine notes, though maybe that’s just me. Sadly, because it’s a very good and original scent, it projects very little when dry. It’s not worth the price due to the null projection, and the longevity isn’t great either.
I bought it blindly thinking it was fresh, but it’s a bit heavier than I expected. I gradually started to like it; it’s unique due to its notes, smells different from everything, and I’ve received several compliments. I use it for work and it lasts 8 hours comfortably, with good trail and projection (9 sprays on skin + 2 or 3 on clothes). I recommend it for any time of year.
In my opinion, very underrated; it performs great for its fragrance type, smells different, and is very well-liked. It serves for everything, looks great. Smells super pleasant, not invasive but noticeable: fresh, fruity, with a dark but clean touch, very original. I love both the EDT and EDP; they’re similar, but I stick with this one because I see it as more usable in mild and fresh climates, while the EDT is better for informal/casual summer wear.
🌙 Moody, 🧼 soapy, and 🌶️ spicy. Interesting but capricious. Not a blind buy: at first, you might be intrigued by the uncommon base, but over time, you’ll love it. I bought it blindly due to female approval. Upon opening, the first trail confused me: how does it smell so bold and yet be liked? I lay down to let it settle, but I’d already soaked my shirt, so I left it and put on another. When I returned, my room smelled like a clean swamp with shaving foam and lots of ice. Dark, enigmatic, and fresh. You’ll receive compliments; some call it sexy. Moderate longevity on skin, very good on clothes. The price is accessible. It’s for an introverted but interesting personality, with a halo of mystery. Scents are subjective; it might convey different things based on your experiences, but if you get the chance, try it: grab a sample from the mall and draw your own conclusions.
It’s a blue fragrance with personality. Right out of the bottle, it smells like a cocktail that evolves quickly, leaving a clean and herbal sensation. It doesn’t bother anyone: fresh but different. Up close, you notice earthy tones, like petrichor with pepper, combined with that soapy gel shower vibe; very interesting.
Velvety and delicious aroma.
Definitely smells like the marine side of Kenzo mixed with the cardamom from La Nuit de L’Homme. Totally worth it: it’s easy to like but breaks away from the conventional to stand out. If you love Savage EDT/EDP, Kenzo, or Allure Superleggera, you’ll fall in love with this perfume.
Oh, K. The letter of the Kings, the bottle said. With that cheesy little crown on the cap, looking like it was stolen from a Neapolitan mafia wedding cake. A cologne that enters promising kingdoms, conquests, and Mediterranean sex appeal… and ends up smelling like an influencer wearing sockless moccasins in January. From the first spray, K kicks you with a citrus blast of lemon and blood orange with the enthusiasm of a new waiter at a franchise pizza place. Pleasant, yes. But more generic than uncle jokes at Christmas. Then comes an attempt at virility with lavender, sage, and a touch of pepper—like putting on a leather jacket to look dangerous but not knowing how to ride a motorcycle. And the base? Woods, vetiver, a little cedar, just enough so you don’t say ‘this smells like nothing.’ But let’s be serious: everyone smells like this. Because K isn’t a king; he’s a party councilor dressed in Zara. He delivers, but he doesn’t move you. It lasts just enough, projects just enough, and seduces those who can’t smell. And yet—here comes the human part, the trap of taste—damn it, it has something cute. Because sometimes you don’t want to think about Tibetan monastery incense notes or camel macerated oud in tears. Sometimes you just want to go out, smell good without complications, and not have to explain yourself. And K does that. He’s that type who doesn’t make you dislike him even though you know he lacks depth, because he makes your life easier. King? No. Not even noble. K is more like a cute duke with a good tan who plays soccer with the neighborhood kids and combs his hair with gel. He leaves no mark… but he doesn’t cause harm either.
So good! Distinctive aroma with a lot of personality. While it’s made to be liked, its notes make it unique compared to other blue fragrances. Starts with a very prominent fig that later turns spicy and spiced, while the citrus blends in. Lavanda cleans up the base and makes it super versatile. Works in almost any weather except intense cold. I feel it’s underrated; it’s one of the best options for summer or mild climates. Doesn’t disappoint on longevity (about 7 hours on skin) or projection (noticeable for the first 3). My next guaranteed buy for the heat. Recommend if you’re looking for something different, though it’s more for younger folks; if you don’t like youthful scents, it might not be for you.
I expected more from this fragrance; it didn’t disgust me, but I feel the scent is very generic. Honestly, based on the reviews and comments I heard, I thought I’d fall in love, but that’s not the case. It’s too fresh, ideal for heat, the office, and daytime; it projects well for a while but isn’t one of those aromas that makes you fall in love or captivate you (at least in my case). I like the opening, but the heart and base notes don’t quite hit for me (maybe because of the fig). It’s not an aroma that’s disliked or can’t be tolerated, but I feel there are better options in this type of blue fragrance. The truth is, I was a bit disappointed. I don’t know if I’ll buy again to give it a second chance.
I love this fragrance. In my city, it usually gets very hot, and it’s excellent for everyday wear; it’s gotten me lots of compliments.
How curious! It reminds me of Mugler perfumes mixed with Dior Sauvage. An aromatic and fresh accord wrapping citrus, fruity, and woody notes, highlighting geranium, patchouli, and vetiver. The letter ‘G’ is for the Masons, the ‘K’ for the Kings, but for me, it’s on par with Kenzo because, over time, it becomes heavier rather than fresh, the opposite of Le Male. It’s perfect for working, shopping, or flirting since it lasts about 7 hours. It’s decent, but I need a crown a bit more… than Playmobil. 6.5/10.
Such a rich perfume; I’m surprised it has such a low rating. It’s a mix of pepper, fig, and soap. Sounds weird, but it smells very pleasant, a little sweet but also soapy with that pepper touch. I bought the 200 ml for $55; honestly, it’s perfect. Even cheaper than some Arab fragrances with amazing quality. I recommend it 100% if you like the smell of fig (if you don’t know what it smells like, it’s like smelling fruit juice mixed with a very faint grassy base).
This perfume surprised me so much. I think it’s one of the scents I like most among the many I’ve recently bought. It has the aroma I was looking for, and I love it. It has an appropriate depth without being heavy. I can’t quite define it, but I absolutely love it. I need to keep testing to see if it was just a first impression. For now, the best and most surprising thing is positive.
Despite everything, it’s become one of my favorites. It’s sweet without being cloying and very fresh. The fig note is very prominent; while it’s not a compliment bomb, I guarantee more than one person will ask you what you’re wearing. The opening is vibrant, fresh, and even balsamic. The 200 ml version is worth it, perfect for the heat of the season.
It smells very similar to the EDT, which doesn’t last at all. It’s woody and not sweet at all, contrary to what they say. Maybe the EDP Intense or Parfum would be better… although reviewers claim this is the best one. If I see good performance, it would be surprising for a Dolce & Gabbana that isn’t known for longevity.
Rich, sweet-citrus aroma that feels very clean. The stars are fig and lavender, present throughout. It’s very soft; you can spray it 20 times without getting dizzy, making it perfect for the office without bothering anyone. That said, this softness can be a weakness if you’re looking to stand out; any more intense perfume will overshadow it. It lasts 4-5 hours with low projection, then stays close to the skin with little sillage. In short: fresh, clean, and appealing to everyone, but it doesn’t stand out or project beyond 2 meters. Ideal for indoor spaces in spring/summer, but you’ll need to reapply to last all day.
This perfume is a total hit: sweet and citrusy, perfect for any occasion, especially dates, hanging out with friends, or hitting the dance floor. Even though I didn’t try the EDT (which they say is better for daily wear), this fragrance nails it perfectly.
The first impression was good, fresh and light for an EDP. As it dries down, it loses a bit of freshness but stays fruity and herbal. I find it synthetic and generic, not my type of scent; it reminds me of Only the Brave by Diesel. Lasts about 4 hours on skin. If someone gifted it to me, I’d use it, but I wouldn’t buy it myself.
I own both the EDP and the EDT and wear them together. They are exquisite, women love them, and this way it lasts longer.
Everyone knows the archetype of ‘blue’ fragrances: clean and fresh for anything. In these times of burnt and spicy scents, D&G Light Blue EDP smells as expected: fresh from citrus, clean from cedar and flowers, with a spicy touch of cardamom and chili. All mixed into a creamy, sweet smell thanks to the fig, making it unique compared to other ‘blues’ that smell like incense, synthetic marine, or cleaner. The fig makes it youthful and creamy. Try it on skin to see if it convinces you. Conclusion: Awesome. The K line is undervalued while other D&G lines are overvalued.
Quick review: it smells great, but honestly, I don’t see an occasion to wear it daily. Might give you a headache. Just for a suit-and-tie night out.
I prefer the EDT for being more versatile. This is a brutal perfume: it lasts, projects, and everyone likes it. It has a serious character, made for dates or meetings. Lasts 5-6 hours, all day on clothes. Don’t buy blind without trying it first.
Smells rich and lovely. Sometimes I wear it to work; it’s neither too casual nor too elegant, just right. Lasts about 6 to 7 hours on skin. I recommend it.
I bought it blind and loved it, though my girlfriend doesn’t like it. It smells better on skin than on paper. Smells of fig, geranium, and berries; when it dries down, it’s a creamy, woody ‘blue’. Sweet at first, very woody later but still fresh. Ideal if you like mature ‘blues’ and don’t mind the fig. The best of the three for me. EDP. Lasts 6-8 hours with good projection. Scent: 9/10 if you like fig.
This scent blends citrus, fruity, aromatic, and woody notes. The opening from D&G is unique: a sharp, acidic orange, followed by green juniper and a cayenne-like spice for 20 minutes. After that, sweet and green notes with fig, lavender, and geranium last 3-4 hours. The base of cedar, patchouli, and vetiver is earthy and dry, lasting 4-5 hours. It’s a ‘blue’ with character, like an ancient forest with fruit trees. Masculine, suitable for any occasion except extreme cold. Smells like a man who dresses well. Good buy, a pleasant surprise. Perfect for night at the gym. Scent: 7/10, Projection: 7/10, Versatility: 8.5/10, Price: 6.5/10.
Does the job more than enough. Lasts 6 hours, projects a lot, and people ask for the name. The fig note makes it similar to Kenzo on my nose. Ideal for spring and summer.
My go-to fragrance, unique and far from being overused. It’s super sweet and spicy; it’s not for me in the summer heat, better saved for a night out. The rest of the year, it’s a perfect signature scent.
