La Nuit Trésor Vanille Noire by Lancôme

I hesitate whether to buy it or not… I liked it, but on my skin it doesn’t last that long… I’ll keep trying it until, at some store, I can try the amount I normally use… since they usually spray you aiming at the floor… I couldn’t resist my impulse and bought it! Delicious!!! Darkish, oud vanilla 🤤❤️ It doesn’t project much, but on the skin it has great longevity!

I’m a great devotee of the original LNT. A year ago it was time to replace it, and when I realized that the new fragrance was different (it seemed like a watered-down version of the one I had), I was very disappointed; I thought I would never get back the magic of what had been my favorite perfume. None of the flankers they were bringing out seemed to me to be up to the intense scent I so longed to smell again, until this one came along. With just one spritz, I knew it. The intensity and intoxication of LNT are unmistakable. It’s the classic DNA, with a honey that intensifies over the hours (this note was definitely a great success). The oud gradually gives velvety nuances that are pleasant and, luckily for me, don’t intrude on the signature sweetness of this perfume. I hope this flanker lasts on the market and isn’t one of the many fleeting flankers Lancome releases. It truly is the hope for those of us who so missed the original fragrance.

I had to buy this perfume in a German store because it never quite made it to Spanish stores! I missed La Nuit Tresor, the eau de parfum from before the 2019 reformulation, to which I didn’t pay much attention back then; over time, and after trying a lot of designer fragrances, I realized it was a gem. The current La Nuit Tresor is simpler, like a summary of that first one we had with its incense and all its splendor. My review is that of a just-opened perfume; I’ve been wearing it for about 6 hours: It is thick, intense, with a short trail but long-lasting. Although this can change, almost all perfumes with a lot of vanilla gain strength once opened over time. It has more of the original’s DNA than last year’s ‘Le Parfum’. It’s as if we added a little honey and more vanilla to the original, a rather elegant vanilla, not at all pastry-like. The oud won’t scare anyone; those who know that note can glimpse it here, but it’s very discreet and gives depth to the perfume, giving a velvety and cozy touch to the whole. It’s a beautiful creation, sensual and romantic. I think it can be worn in all seasons except summer, although this is a matter of personal taste. In short, it’s a good launch 🙂

I hope with all my heart that this fragrance does make it to Mexico… unlike the Fleur de Nuit version, which I just don’t see making it to Mexican territory 🥲

I’m surprised by this fragrance. It’s my first LNT flanker, so I don’t know how the original and its siblings smell, but I bought this perfume for its notes, and it was a great success!! On my skin it has beastly longevity; it literally lasts all day, and the scent is delicious. I’ve worn it so much in such a short time that it’s by far my favorite perfume of this fall/winter. I don’t sense the oud wood as much as in other perfumes, but it has a hint of caramel that I love. For me it’s a 10/10

It has more DNA of the original than last year’s “Le Parfum.” It’s like taking the original and adding a bit of honey and more vanilla, a rather elegant vanilla, nothing pastry-like. The oud won’t scare anyone; those who know that note can catch a glimpse of it here, but it’s very discreet and adds depth, giving the whole thing a velvety and cozy touch. I really like it. I hesitated to keep it because it’s surprisingly similar to the original LNT. That said, I do notice a tiny hint of honey in this one.
