This website loses all credibility when they recommend an identical clone of Lolitaland at half the price; it smells like when we played dress-up as teachers when we were little girls.
locadelosperfumes76
Unfairly forgotten, it’s an exclusive delight for cold climates and winter seasons.

A gorgeous flanker I can’t ask for more of; please keep making it. To me, it smells like chocolate cake baking in the oven, even though it doesn’t list cocoa; probably the tonka bean and red berries are confusing my nose. Very gourmand, vanilla-forward, and woody in the dry down, with a dark, seductive touch perfect for dates and nights. The warmer the weather, the better it shines. Lasts 8 to 10 hours and projects like a beast; people noticed the chocolate scent from over 3 meters away. It was a crime to discontinue it. If you can find it, don’t hesitate to buy it. No waste at all. I’d give anything to have a backup bottle.

The best perfume in the universe. Since I found out it’s discontinued, I haven’t worn it once; I don’t want to lose the chance to smell it. I hope it’s just temporary and comes back; what a tragedy. I’m searching for something that can make me fall in love with a scent like this again.

I can’t believe this work of art is discontinued… I bought it last year and it still hurts to watch the bottle dry out. It’s so well-constructed, long-lasting, and charming that it shouldn’t have left the shelves. I hope Lancôme considers bringing it back; for me, it surpasses all the flankers, being both seductive and mysterious like À la Folie.

I own the EDP, Nude, Le Parfum, and Fleur de Nuit, plus this one, and for me, it remains the richest scent: absolutely out of this world. The name fits perfectly; you can taste the sweet, enveloping red fruits, the brand’s signature young, fresh, and juicy rose, a hint of violet, and an amazing vanilla with a nutmeg touch. This aroma makes you lose your head—it’s pure madness.

I bought it last year when rumors of its discontinuation were circulating. I tried it before and fell in love immediately: that vanilla in the opening is very sweet yet elegant, which made me buy it on the spot. Its trail doesn’t last long, but the scent lingers on skin and clothes. Once it dries down, I smell a lot of nutmeg (I’m not entirely fond of it). It stays very intimate, perfect for enclosed spaces.

It’s very similar to the original; you can really taste the red currants and tonka bean. You have to like these notes because they stand out the most. It’s a sweet, dark, sexy, elegant, and well-groomed woman’s perfume. Perfect for rainy or very cold weather. It has that nutmeg touch that adds a bit of spice along with the pepper, but nothing invasive. In the end, it leaves a sweetened patchouli… If you like patchouli, you might like this perfume, because that’s what remains after 4 hours.

It’s a very sweet aroma with a very marked but particular vanilla that sets it apart from the countless vanilla perfumes on the market: it’s subtle, elegant, and sensual. You can also smell a lot of pear in the opening, making it fruity, fresh, and sensual as the rose emerges; by the heart, it becomes a bit darker and more intense, extremely feminine, finishing with woody, sexy, and persistent notes. Overall, I liked it a lot; I’ve been wearing it for just a few days and I loved it. I’m a big fan of sweet perfumes, and this one is very feminine and charming. It has lovely notes, although in the end, I always sense a synthetic aroma, probably due to the ambroxan taking on a different intensity at my pH. But it’s a lovely perfume; it’s much sweeter and fruitier than La Nuit Tresor.

Sweet but lacks personality, except for that almond note. The trail and longevity are weak; there are better Trésor flankers out there.

At first, it smells like makeup powder with a hint of lipstick, maybe due to the violet. It’s very faint on my skin, so I’ll let it settle. EDITED 05/09/24: Forgot to mention, it smells like powdery iris mixed with cherry—elegant and youthful. Still lacks big projection and longevity, barely lasts 7 hours. I still prefer the original LNT.
Monshi
I love this perfume. I own La Nuit Trésor EDP and like it, but this flanker is sweeter and more feminine, so I prefer it. On me, it has great longevity and projection; it’s one of my favorites that I’ll be restocking. I wear it year-round, but it’s ideal for going out at night, romantic dates, or autumn/winter.
selene85
My Lancôme rose, I love it. It’s long-lasting and feminine. I never understand why people say roses are for older women; it’s disrespectful and lacks personality. At 38, I’d rather enjoy a fresh rose scent than smell like Nutella forever. A bit of personality, please.
Shelita
Very sexy, sweet, and woody. It lasts all day, but projects only for the first few hours before becoming a skin scent. On clothes, it’s noticeable if you get close. It’s more for personal enjoyment; you only catch it with a hug.

I bought it by mistake while looking for the classic La Nuit Trésor, but I fell in love with this A la Folie flanker. It feels very cozy, perfect for those who love sweet, vanilla, and warm scents. It seems romantic, elegant, and very wearable. Ideal for dates, night outs, or formal gatherings. Longevity is excellent and the trail is moderate.

I’d summarize it in one word: Perfect. It’s addictive. The vanilla is executed beautifully, not cloying like pastries. It’s elegant and full of personality. Longevity, projection, and trail are all very good.

It came with me today; it has that childhood ice cream shop vibe, perfect for this winter. It brings back memories of La Petite Robe Noire Black. We’ll see how long this unrequited love for a discontinued scent lasts, because I really love it. Good trail and longevity; it’s not a beast but it’s very noticeable. EDITED: After winter testing, the scent is delicious even if it’s not quite my style. It lasts over 12 hours on skin and is noticeable on a suede jacket after a week. The trail is flattering; two people told me I smelled great on a night out, one said I smelled like I’d doused myself in perfume. If it were less gourmand, it would be ideal for me; I’ll either switch to it or sell it.

I wish it projected and lasted longer. It stays very intimate.

I love it, I love it, I love it so much. It’s feminine, sweet, warm, and enveloping. It has spectacular fixation, longevity, and trail. On my skin, vanilla and amber dominate, with a smoky touch and a hint of spicy pink pepper and nutmeg. It was love at first sniff. I recommend it if you like perfumes like Hypnotic Poison EDP by CD, though this one has more punch and projection. The price is excellent here.

Super sophisticated scent: starts with red berries, I think blackcurrant and raspberry (even though they’re not listed). Then the rose and violet bloom, becoming powdery and sweet thanks to the vanilla and tonka bean. In the end, on my skin, it’s like a vanilla custard dessert with a hint of nut. I tested it in over 30-degree heat and it didn’t last long, but I’ll wait for cooler weather to see its true potential. I loved it so much. P.S. I tried it again and absolutely adored it! I grabbed it because there was only one left and I searched everywhere for it; they’ll probably discontinue it soon here.

I bought it years ago and didn’t like it: it smelled like sharp raspberries (even though it doesn’t have them, that’s what I thought at the time). The other day I was about to throw it away and… I’m so glad I stopped! It’s gorgeous, feminine, and unique. It opens with bergamot, blackcurrant, and a spicy kick of pepper. Then it settles into a floral heart of roses and violets, vanilla-infused, velvety, with a spicy note, probably nutmeg. It lasts about 8 hours and has a moderate sillage.

This ranks in my top 5-10 designer perfumes. In fact, I’ve owned several bottles, and since it’s getting harder to find, I’ve picked up two more. To be blunt: it’s hands down the best flanker of La Nuit Trésor. It has a sparkling, vibrant, fruity opening with pink pepper and nutmeg that quickly transitions into a floral heart featuring that classic Lancôme rose, which is beautifully crafted and lasts throughout the entire evolution. In the dry down, bourbon vanilla (with its boozy touch), tonka bean, and benzoin take over, making it sweet, warm, balsamic, and slightly smoky. Absolutely delicious. I swear it’s addictive; you can’t stop smelling yourself. Feminine, seductive, perfect for a mature but playful and empowered woman. It’s my partner’s (male) favorite from my entire collection. Moderate projection for the first 2-3 hours, then an intimate sillage. Lasts about 6 hours on skin and over 10 on clothes. Another discontinued gem. BUY IT BEFORE IT’S GONE.

The opening is rich, but then it becomes intense. In my opinion, unjustly discontinued.
Rot
Well, let me start by saying it didn’t convince me at first. It seemed sweet and dark, nothing original. It’s also true that I tested it on blotter paper, not on skin. As they say, friends, things change. Recently I went to a perfumery, saw it, and thought: I’m going to test it again on skin, because perfumes deserve a second chance, and this was the moment. In the opening, I noticed light citrus notes that evolved into an elegant sweetness with floral nuances. What I liked most was the vanilla: not overwhelming, but addictive and enveloping. The dry down was the best part, a clearly feminine scent that won me over. It’s one of those perfumes you must own because you’ll always have unforgettable moments where it’s the perfect choice. It lasts 8-10 hours on skin and until you wash it on clothes. Moderate sillage that you notice with every movement. It’s a great perfume for cold days, nights, and romantic occasions, perfect for seduction. Compared to the original La Nuit Trésor, I prefer this flanker by far: sexier and less cloying. I want this perfume, I need it. I would buy it, yes. They’ll probably discontinue it soon, because designer perfumeries do incomprehensible things.

I bought it blindly because I wanted something from the Lancôme line but the classic ‘La Vie Est Belle’ didn’t convince me. I grabbed it on sale, it arrived, and I tried it. It smells delicious; I read it’s for more mature women, but at 25, it suits me perfectly. It’s very sweet and the vanilla lingers on the skin. What really bothered me is that I don’t feel good longevity; shortly after, I went to try perfumes from the same brand and they sprayed me with ‘La Vie Est Belle,’ which lasted two days soaked into my wrist despite me showering, a stark contrast to LNT a la Folie. Delicious scent and very addictive, but sadly, on my skin, it had no staying power 🙁
selene85
It will remain my favorite from the Tresor line.
selene85
Very long-lasting with good sillage, slightly sweet, for women looking for something elegant without being overwhelming, highly recommended for ages 30 and up, a real triumph by Lancôme.
Bbambhi
Too sweet for me; it was overwhelming. To my misfortune, the longevity is EXTREME… I couldn’t rub the smell off my arm.
Maymay
It’s the most perfect vanilla I know; it doesn’t smell like that typical sharp vanilla, it’s elegant, spiced, and sensual. Perfect for passionate nights, haha.
