Descripción
La Nuit Trésor by Lancôme is a vanilla oriental fragrance for women. Launched in 2015, this composition was created by Christophe Raynaud and Amandine Clerc-Marie. The top notes feature the freshness of pear, tangerine, and bergamot. The heart reveals a blend of strawberry, black rose, vanilla orchid, and passion fruit. The base offers a warm, enveloping trail with praline, caramel, vanilla, lychee, patchouli, incense, coffee, licorice, coumarin, and Egyptian papyrus.

This perfume smells great; it’s sweet, dark, elegant, and mature. Very good for wearing at night. I liked it, it has a different scent.
D E L I C I O U S
There’s a short story called ‘Miss Baudelaire’ by independent writer Diego Minero. If that vampire had a scent, it would be this perfume. It’s exquisite, sweet, dark, sexy, mysterious, addictive, alluring, elegant, and delicious. It was love at first sniff, and finally I have it in my hands. I don’t know why they say it’s for mature women; it’s not at all, although it is a fragrance with personality. If you don’t like to turn heads, it’s not for you. Ideal for cold and especially rainy weather, for late afternoon and night, with red lipstick, black eyeliner, and free, happy hair.
What a delight, what quality, what elegant, what mysterious. Among designer perfumes, this one and every flanker are spectacular. It reminds me of a drugged chocolate bonbon, dark with bitter chocolate.
It’s a perfume that I systematically repurchase when it runs out. Sexy, sweet, elegant, and perfect for night. Every time I wear it, someone asks or tells me they like how I smell. The longer you keep this fragrance, the better it smells, as the scent macerates over time. I must warn that this isn’t a scent for teenagers, but for adult women, as it has certain mature nuances.
What happened here and why isn’t anyone talking about it? This perfume doesn’t smell like before… not the notes, not the power, nothing. 80€ for 100ml at Primor and it was an absolute disappointment.
For those saying it doesn’t smell like before: yes, it’s discontinued, and what you find in stores and on the Lancôme website is the 2019 reformulation, which also has a profile on Fragrantica. Many comment on the LNT EDP in this version because it’s the first one that shows up when you search, but it’s been discontinued since 2019. The new version smells very different, nothing like the enigmatic and dark original. I still have a miniature of the original version and treat it like a jewel.
It’s a work of art: the sexiest, darkest, and most mysterious strawberry I’ve ever heard of. It’s one of the few perfumes you can truly appreciate in layers: first a sweet, juicy passionfruit layer with barely acidic strawberry, then the rose that adds seriousness and elegance. In the dry down, a spiced and mentholated sweetness (papyrus) lingers timidly before turning into a tender, charming sweetness. It’s a bomb for cold weather and nights, with beastly sillage and longevity.
Tresor La Nuit is a deep, gourmand, sweet, penetrating, sharp, and extremely long-lasting fragrance. It hits the brain and stays there. I’ve been wearing it since 2016. My only downside is that because it’s so invasive, it gives me headaches, so you have to use it with caution. It replaced my favorite discontinued perfume, the Essence Pure by S.T. Dupont.
I save this for nights and parties; it’s a sexy bombshell that fits a mature, mysterious woman perfectly. The scent is incredibly rich. I’ve had the 100ml bottle for a while now, and just a few drops last all day—the longevity and sillage are excellent.
Strong. Dark. Intense. Gourmand. Elegant. Sexy. It’s a perfume that stands out. I see it more for winter. It’s really very potent and unique.
A sweet scent: a juicy yet dark pear with woods, covered in caramel and vanilla, surrounded by juicy flowers and fruits—neither too fruity nor cloying, perfectly balanced. With this, I feel like a femme fatale; perfect for a night date anytime of year. It stands out in the Lancôme lineup: dark yet sweet, elegant but with youthful, playful touches. I love it and always recommend it whenever I can. Rating: 20/10.
The best thing about maturing is learning to smell scents with a more clinical eye and giving this perfume another chance, one I didn’t like before, probably due to the patchouli which I now appreciate more. It’s one of the best patchouli scents I’ve ever smelled; every note is distinct. Here, the pear is just a subtle touch, unlike in J’Adoré where the pear dominates. It’s rare for me to prefer the dry down over the opening, but it’s a timeless great perfume, a gem that never goes out of style ✨️. And that coffee… wow, it adds character and all the darkness I love.
I was intrigued by the notes. Yesterday I tested it on blotter then on skin: the opening is strong and didn’t please me at first, but as minutes passed, it shifted to something overly sweet and floral. Still didn’t like it. After 12 hours, it’s still very present, sweeter but not cloying. The vanilla and caramel are very noticeable. I didn’t like the start, but the dry down is marvelous. I recommend it for cold climates, autumn/winter, and nights; the sillage is huge and it lasts over 12 hours, even lingering after a shower.
I sense too much of the Lancôme DNA here, and combined with my past experiences with LVEB, it doesn’t make me enjoy it. I gave it time, but it disappointed me because I can’t find anything that makes me love it. I don’t know… Edit: I gave it plenty of time and nothing changed. It’s still a boring perfume with no projection or longevity. Just another sweet Lancôme.
I bought it for the notes and it didn’t disappoint at all. It’s exquisite, potent, and has great presence. Sweet and caramelized, I love it!
I tested it in a decant before buying. On my skin, it smells like incense or something bitter; it lacks that caramel sweetness everyone talks about. Maybe it’s just my skin. Longevity and sillage are decent, but nothing extraordinary.
Delicious! Very elegant.
Divine! My boyfriend gifted it to me; it’s super sweet with an eternal longevity on clothes 😍. Very elegant, perfect for night outs.
First try: it smells like my mom—so sweet and elegant. I love the dry down where the patchouli (my favorite note) hits hard.
It’s simply exquisite. Sweet, intense, and soft all at once, warm and special. Definitely a fragrance to enjoy on autumn and winter days. That base of vanilla, coffee, praline, caramel, licorice… with that raspberry and passionfruit. A f*cking work of art! I hope they never discontinue it. Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 10/10 Versatility: 5/10. Perfection: 100/10.
I tried it at a perfumery and I loved how it smelled! Sweet and warm 🥰 very comforting. I did get the impression it might stain a little, though 😅 I showed it to my boyfriend and he gave it a respectable 7.3 🙈 He said it smelled like cotton candy and incense to him 😯
It’s a delicious perfume; on my skin, the caramelized passionfruit note with lots of patchouli stands out a lot. It’s long-lasting with a huge sillage. I really like it, definitely ordering a refill soon 🫶🏻
Smells terrible, I don’t understand why anyone likes it
Very delicious, I’ve known it for years and I still love it
It was my first perfume and I’ll keep buying and recommending it forever, without a doubt it’s a 10. The only downside is I only wear it at night and in cold weather because the notes can be a bit overwhelming, but overall it’s a safe bet that most people will like. When I wear it, I get tons of compliments 😊
So delicious, sweet, sensual, and elegant. I see it as perfect for autumn/winter nights. Honestly, it felt way too similar to La Vie Est Belle. I’m not sure if it’s been reformulated, but just smelling it triggered memories of LVEB.
What I love most about this perfume is nameless. It’s sweet, fruity, yet dark, with a very sexy note. I wear it at night and since I live in a cold area, it fits perfectly. Excellent blind buy for anyone who loves strong fragrances!
Smells great, sweet but with a tart twist that reminds me of plums. It’s elegant, sensual, and soft. It doesn’t project much and after three hours it’s just a skin scent, though it lasts quite a while even then.
Heavy and dark vanilla presence, absolutely delicious, just like all the Nuit scents. I wear it at night for going out or dates; it makes me look REGAL <3
It’s super strong. The first time I wore it, I couldn’t stand it; I can’t explain why, I hated it. But when I wore it again, I noticed the fruity and gourmand notes (which I love) and the incense (which I also love) perfectly. A classmate said: ‘You smell like a rich lady from the hills.’ I like to wear it for the theater, evening events, or places with air conditioning, because in cold environments, it can be a bit overpowering.
One of the juiciest perfumes I’ve tried. Very suitable for special occasions and winter. The scent is a 10; I still need to test the performance because I had other perfumes in priority, but it smells very rich.
I don’t like it; I tried it for a month. It smells like strong patchouli and incense all the time, mixed with a bit of chocolate and caramel. It’s a winter fragrance, perfect for night and parties.
I didn’t like the opening; I smelled a lot of roses. But after 40 minutes, I noticed the fruits and the wonderful sweetness of the praline, caramel, and coffee. I love the scent after those 40 minutes. I think it’s for autumn-winter, though I could wear it in summer with fewer sprays to avoid getting dizzy, or just at night. I’ve received compliments: on a flight, a girl asked me what perfume I was wearing because she smelled a delicious scent.
Super sweet, very noticeable in the room. I was impressed by the longevity on both skin and clothes. Some might say that because it’s so sweet, it’s only for winter, but with the lychee note, I feel it’s for all year round.
If you’re looking for something sweet, go for the original La Nuit de Tresor, no doubt. I detect a caramelized pear with an extra sweetness, which I assume is the praline. Two things I don’t like: it’s linear and doesn’t evolve much like La Vie Est Belle; and it barely lasts half an hour on me. The incredible part is that it’s a compliment bomb and projects a lot. In fact, two of my students (I’m a high school teacher) told me they could smell it down the hallway while I was in class!
Let’s be honest, no lies to impress. It’s not worth the price. It smells like an old lady, nothing more. The patchouli is way too noticeable and it smells awful. Don’t spend money on this; it’s sweet… sweetly disgusting.
I’ve been wearing it since 2016, and it’s still one of the best. I call it ‘Sensuality in a bottle.’ If you want to show off your sexy side, it’s ideal: it lasts and projects a lot, literally leaving a trail wherever you go. It works day or night, but I think it looks better in autumn and winter. It’s oriental, sweet but not overwhelming, with notes of vanilla, wood, and fruit. On my skin, the main notes are coffee, black rose, patchouli, vanilla, and maybe licorice. The bottle is beautiful and very sensual; the name and the bottle go hand in hand. For me, it’s the best from the brand.
Someone gifted it to me, and it just didn’t work for me, though I don’t hate it. I’ve worn it a few times and am now sure it’s not for me. The blend of coffee, chocolate, patchouli, and citrus always sounds weird to me. It projects well and lasts hours, surrounding you completely. I see it as a fragrance for older women or for evening wear; it’s the opposite of a fresh scent despite the acidic fruits. I’ve received compliments, so I recommend testing it in-store before buying.
Super sweet, super sexy, and perfect for night. One of my favorites: on my skin, the patchouli fades into the background, and I only notice the fruits, caramel, and praline. Definitely a 10/10.
