What a delicious fragrance. On my skin, it lasts through the day and leaves an amazing trail, at least in my case.
It’s identical to True by Yuya, but the Imari Corset has a cocoa base that sets it apart.
What a great perfume! The liquor note hits hard and is very noticeable. For the price, the longevity and sillage are on another level.
Today I received the Imari Seduction perfume. I have several Imaris: Fantasy, Blossom, Seduction, and Corset. I haven’t used Seduction yet, but I tested it on my skin and liked it a lot. I find it very rich, but I think I sense it’s quite similar to Corset. I’m not sure if it’s just my nose, because I haven’t used them in depth yet, but I feel they are similar. Hopefully, they turn out different because although I love them, I want to notice the difference. Based on what I’ve tested, I like Corset a bit more. I find it more mysterious and complex; Seduction feels sweeter and simpler. Maybe I’m wrong, but upon first testing, that’s how I felt. Regarding Corset, I perceive it as sensual, with that boozy aroma and exquisite sweetness, not cloying, well-feminine, and distinct. I don’t feel it’s a simple sweet vanilla perfume with an innocent caramel aroma I used to wear, but rather it hides something, giving a sense of mystery to discover with a slightly fruity aroma. The cocoa note, at least on my skin, isn’t very present. It’s a pity because I suspect I would have fallen in love even more. Anyway, I love it. I think I would wear it all the time, but it applies better for the night, a special occasion like dinner or a date. I feel it can be very rich for a romantic occasion, feminine, sweet, a bit seductive, and not annoying. Since it’s economical, it doesn’t smell synthetic or lack personality. Once I finish it, I’ll make sure to get another. The Imari line pleasantly surprised me; I recommend it.
Okay, when I ordered this perfume, I smelled the sample from the flyer and it seemed like a sexy, sparkling gourmand, like a sum of pink pepper and cocoa, so I ordered it without hesitation. While it’s known that on paper it differs from on skin, in this case, it differs a lot. It’s not an unpleasant scent (even it gives a sweet and clean sensation due to the rose), but it’s not what I expected, and I notice it’s a synthetic chypre. I’m having trouble finding the gourmand cocoa note. Regarding sillage and longevity, it hasn’t lasted me more than 2 hours. I would recommend it for the off-season, as I’m not sure if it would be pleasant in summer and it would get lost easily in winter. I was disappointed because seeing its notes and sexy packaging, I thought it was in the style of the classic XS, and among the Imaris, it was the one I thought I would like most.
Well… what can I say? I have a decant of La Nuit Tresor and they seem practically identical. I think Imari is a bit softer, less deep, and projects less, but yes, they are very similar. I don’t smell anything synthetic at all.
Well… what can I say… I have a decant of La Nuit Tresor and it seems to me they are practically identical, although Imari feels a bit softer, less deep, and clearly projects less. Yes, they are very similar, but I don’t smell anything synthetic.
This is a very special perfume; it smells more expensive than it actually is. It seems like something Natura would release, which manages a pricier catalog due to quality. It’s one of the first Avon perfumes I’ve purchased and was a hit, considering I bought it blind and on sale. However, I recommend smelling it before buying, as it’s quite strong, similar to Natura’s Luna Intenso or Ilia Secreto, though it doesn’t resemble either. The box indicates leather, sandalwood, and chocolate, to which the official notes are added; it smells like all of that mixed with chocolate, very gourmand, and perhaps that’s why I liked it so much.
It has many of my favorite notes and was a great hit. A boozy raspberry with rose and a chocolatey woody base. Totally winter, don’t even think about it in hot climates. Good longevity, high projection at first that then settles to personal sillage; it lasted me about 5-6 hours max, which is perfect for the ridiculously low price. Delicious.
It has so many of my favorite notes, a great find! It’s boozy raspberry with rose and a woody chocolate base. Totally winter-appropriate, don’t even think about wearing it in the heat. Good longevity, high projection at first, then it settles into a nice personal sillage; lasted me 5-6 hours, perfect for the ridiculous price.
A perfume that is absolutely worth it; I got it for 90 Mexican pesos. It’s a delight.
A perfume with a current fragrance. I notice that subtle boozy and sweet raspberry note, but very delicate. For the price, it’s worth having in your daily use collection.
A very current fragrance. You can definitely sense that boozy, sweet raspberry note, but it’s very subtle. For the price, it’s worth having in your daily rotation.
Imari Corset is a feminine, pleasant, and sweet perfume without being intrusive, bearing the collection’s signature. It felt like a more subtle version of Natura’s Luna Absoluta, with lower performance. Among its siblings, it’s very similar to Rouge but less overwhelming and more fruity. The notes I perceive most are raspberry, cocoa, and sandalwood; none are sharp; it’s almost a blind buy because it’s sweet and slightly powdery. Being an affordable cologne, it lasts about three hours on me; it doesn’t project but is for personal enjoyment. Appropriate for cold climates, casual wear, or work. Ideally suited for lovers of chocolatey perfumes.
Sweet and delicious. According to Avon, the notes are sandalwood, leather, and cocoa butter, but in my experience, I only smell roses, liquor, and fruits; I can’t detect the cocoa. It’s like a cocktail of grape and red fruits with liquor. The price is fantastic and the longevity is medium to long-lasting, which is exceptional for an EDT. The Imari line has quality and varied options, from classic to casual. I recommend trying it, you won’t regret it, and don’t underestimate it.
Updated review after two years: I was pleasantly surprised and made it my favorite from the Imari line. It has everything a gourmand lover wants without being overwhelming. It’s perfect for winter—sweet, soft, and very persistent, just like the Rouge (which I gave away because it’s too strong and gives me a headache). I think it works beautifully on my skin, which is a lifesaver because usually, perfumes like this don’t last more than half an hour on me, and I’m always looking for something to wear daily without guilt. This didn’t disappoint; I loved it. It makes me feel comfortable, it’s affordable, and totally worth trying if you’re looking for something sweet, elegant, and long-lasting. Avon keeps surprising me; unfortunately, many people criticize catalog perfumes and miss out on high-quality, refined, and accessible products. I recommend it—I’ve repurchased it several times and always keep a backup bottle.
Updated my review after two years: I was pleasantly surprised and it has become my absolute favorite from the Imari line. It has everything you look for in a gourmand without being heavy. Ideal for winter, sweet, soft, and with wonderful longevity, similar to Rouge (which I gifted because it felt too strong and overwhelming on me). On my skin, it works perfectly, which is a lifesaver since usually these perfumes don’t last more than half an hour on me, and I’m looking for something daily without guilt. This didn’t disappoint; I loved it. The opening is boozy, spicy but soft, not piercing; the cocoa is delicate so it’s not cloying. Then a blend of rose and raspberry that lasts for hours, with a moderate, acceptable sillage. Avon keeps surprising me; it’s a shame so many people criticize their catalog and miss the opportunity to try excellent, fine, and elegant quality at an accessible price, something vital in Argentina. I highly recommend it: sweet, elegant, and long-lasting, I keep repurchasing it and always have a backup.
After reading the notes and seeing it even compared to Tresor la Nuit, I thought it was a good idea to buy it. And I don’t know if it was reformulated or my pH, but it’s barely noticeable. Obviously the aroma isn’t ugly, but I have to leave it for occasional spring/summer use so the essence is a bit stronger and can be enjoyed. What a pity.
I smelled it identical to Natura’s Luna Intenso, it’s rich, but I couldn’t handle it, very intense, gives me a headache.
I just received Imari Corset; I must say it reminds me a bit of Kriska Drama and Angel by Mugler, it gives me a headache, it’s a fragrance that smells like a face, yes, but for a super low cost price it’s not my style, I hate face-hitting perfumes. I recommend it more for an age range of 40 and up.
I’ve been wearing it lately on cool days and I love it. It’s a very sweet, boozy raspberry, the rose is there adding sensuality along with the leather touch, and the base is somewhat creamy from the cocoa butter. It’s warm, sweet, sensual, enveloping, and has a beautiful trail. I’ve been complimented a lot. Its longevity requires reapplication every two or three hours since it’s an eau de toilette. It’s true it has a vibe similar to La Nuit Tresor, but Imari Corset I like more, as I feel more clarity in its notes; the other seems too cloying to me, even though I love bomb scents, but La Nuit has something that doesn’t quite work for me. Back to Imari, I recommend it without doubt. Quality aroma at a very accessible price.
Highly recommend! I have to admit, it blew past my expectations for a catalog perfume. I loved the buttery note that dominates on my skin along with the cocoa, it was mind-blowing! I also pick up the boozy fruits, the liquor, and the leather; fused together they create a sensual gourmand blend that makes you want to eat it. A huge hit from Avon, it’s the only one I own from this brand and the best of my four catalog perfumes. I use it year-round, but in summer with light sprays because the sweetness can be overwhelming; in fall and winter, it’s a delight that melts you. Its longevity and trail impressed me: 4 hours on skin and another 2 with a lighter trail. Definitely, it’s a low-cost gem with high-end quality. If you love edible-style gourmands, this is it!
I highly recommend this perfume. I must confess that for a catalog fragrance, it exceeded my expectations. I loved its butter note, which dominates on my skin along with cocoa, wow, it made me feel amazing; I also notice the boozy fruits, the liquor, and the leather that fused together create a sensual, edible gourmand blend. A great hit from Avon and it’s definitely the only perfume I own from this brand; in my collection I only have four catalog scents and I must say this is the best. I wear it in all seasons, but worth mentioning that in summer I use very few sprays because the sweetness can get suffocating, and in autumn-winter it’s lovely; with cold weather it’s a delight that melts. I also mention that its longevity and trail impressed me: it lasts about 4 hours on skin and another 2 hours with a lighter trail. Definitely recommend it, it’s a low-cost option with high-end quality. If you like edible-type gourmands… this is it.
I’ve been wearing it for two weeks; the weather in Patagonia is still cool, today the low is 5°C. I apply almost 10 sprays, it envelops me, hugs me, it drives me crazy. It’s so sweet, creamy, elegant. It opens fruity with cocoa (yes, I smell it from the start), a sweet liquor that doesn’t last long but I notice it; the heart has a big, opulent rose with acidic raspberry. The base is what I enjoy most: sweet, creamy vanilla with cocoa butter (the rose never disappears), delicious. Incredibly, I didn’t realize it was an EDT until reading the box because the performance is unbelievable; it lasts all day. A total hit, I’d definitely buy it again, it smells expensive and is from the catalog. I don’t find any resemblance to Tresor la Nuit; it’s more like Luna Intenso but gourmand.
I must confess I didn’t like it at first because I bought it during hot weather, however, now I’m testing it in autumn and I love it. It’s sweet, fruity, boozy, elegant, with presence, plus it lasts on clothes until you wash them. I’ve been complimented on it repeatedly, by girls and adults alike. Excellent perfume.
My first Avon purchase after Sweet Honesty in my teens. Thanks to a review praising this EDT, I decided to order it, and honestly, it’s a gem; it matched my skin perfectly, had excellent performance, and made me feel great.
Back with a new review of this beauty. I bought it again and grabbed two bottles taking advantage of the Argentina catalog promo. I’d dare say it’s one of Avon’s best perfumes; honestly, it’s the only one I own from this brand, and since it’s from the budget line, it’s worth every penny. I don’t know many of their other lines and think today they’re too expensive for what they are, but this one definitely deserves every cent. It’s a divine, boozy raspberry with an enveloping rose and a base of cocoa and sandalwood; you can notice the subtle leather touch. I wear it both day for the office and night for any occasion. I even see it as a signature perfume for cold weather. I love it and highly recommend it. You need to like sweet and fruity aromas to enjoy it.
Bought it blind thinking it would be a clone of Tresor la Nuit, but honestly, it isn’t; maybe it just has a distant resemblance. Something weird happened: when I first got it, I loved it—soft and needed reapplication—but now it doesn’t convince me as much. I wore it for a whole week; it projects well for the first hour and lasts about 3 or 4 hours on my skin. To be fair, all perfumes last short for me, even strong imported ones. I paid 17,000 pesos on Mercado Libre in January 2026, but you can get it for as low as 12,000, and at that price, expecting more than 4 hours of longevity is crazy. It feels sophisticated, sexy, and versatile; works all day or for going out at night. If you take it to a club, bring a travel spray to reapply. The question is why it changed on me: one day I applied a lot to my neck, arms, and clothes, and I smelled a totally different scent, like a neroli essence not listed in the notes. It’s not ugly, just different, and the only thing that changed was the weather: I wore it all week in the heat, and now I’m in a sweater due to the cold. Anyway, maybe it’s olfactory fatigue. Either way, worth it for the price and versatility.
