It’s a rare fragrance: based on the top notes, I thought it would be creamy and super sweet, but I can’t detect any cinnamon or white chocolate (which was what I wanted most, boo =/), nor bergamot. It smells medicinal, like plastic, and all I pick up are violets. It’s sweet but very faint; maybe it’s the iris, but it’s a different iris than I know, drier like the one in DHI. This one is fresh, though sugary. Over time, it becomes creamier and sweeter, which is the stage I like more. I never stop smelling that violet, sugary iris; it’s strange but I like it. In my opinion, Iris Ganache isn’t as gourmand as they say; it’s elegant, powdery, and creamy. It’s my second day trying it, and while I like it quite a bit, it’s not what I expected.
