It smells like cherry-caramel artificial lemonade; the ‘intense’ is just from the sugar, not the power. The flowers, especially the rose, dominate, while the cherry is just a background syrup. Nothing original, short trail and weak longevity on me, but clean, youthful, and wearable.

What a great first impression! I expected a synthetic cherry musk bomb and… surprise, it’s citrusy. The cherry is there, sparkling and synthetic, but then the magic happens as it dries. You wouldn’t expect that Montale ‘Intense’ kind of development. It settles down, the creamy liquid gains body and yields to your skin, with a touch of iris or ambergris giving a buttery feel. The vanilla is mature, not childish, balanced and serene in a slow ballad with the musk over a subtle floral base. The cherries could be a bit more present, but the result is surprising—I didn’t expect it 👍

I can’t say much since I only got to test it on my wrist for a day, but the longevity is incredible. Even two weeks after spraying it on the cardboard box, it still smells strong enough to have soaked into my coat. Longevity is high, typical of Montale, though the projection is soft and skin-close, like a high-quality vanilla-floral cream. It works for any season, leaning more daytime than nighttime and slightly feminine at first. As it dries down, it becomes more unisex, but if you’re looking for something masculine, don’t buy it blind.
