  • The cherry note is one of my favorites, artificially pleasant; I rush to try it whenever a new bottle drops. I haven’t bought BDK Rouge S because it has too much tonka bean that overwhelms me, but this TF version I like, even if it doesn’t shock me. It has a fresh, clean, almost soapy opening of ginger-musk, followed by fruity cherry syrup mixed with raspberry, all in an amber halo that doesn’t evolve further. It confused me because I expected something metallic or deeper since it’s Tom Ford, but the only quality is its longevity (watch out on fabrics). The scent is pleasant, generic, leaning feminine, and sounded familiar to me when compared to Escada’s Cherry in the Air: super similar. I didn’t discover anything new; anyone who smells it likes it, calling it ‘pretty,’ youthful, cheerful, sweet, and slightly sexy. To conclude: being a mass scent, 5ml is enough for now. I’d only buy it if it’s on sale; it’s outrageously priced, not part of a private line, lacks a famous nose signature, and has no strong marketing behind it.

  • It starts with a cherry that reminds me of Canel’s candies, less sweet than Tutsi Pop, with a hint of ginger. Then comes the pink pepper, and as it dries down, jasmine, musk, and amber; I love that dry down. I feel it’s fresh and fun, with the sharp ginger and pepper very much in the background. It’s more wearable than Lost Cherry. I’ll use it more to see how long it lasts.

  • Dama Incognita

I feel like this is the least flattering of Mr. Tom Ford’s ‘Cherry’ sisters. I prefer intense, gourmand cherries, and this one is fresh and light, getting lost between the musk and ginger. It’s not a bad perfume; on the contrary, it’s suitable for warm climates and those who prefer soft cherry. On my skin, the longevity and sillage are moderate.

It’s the ‘light’ version of Lost Cherry. Wearable, yes, but that doesn’t stop it from being cloying and overwhelming.

  • I tried Lost Cherry first and found it super sweet and rich for certain occasions, but Electric Cherry is softer, fresher, and powdery, though it lasts very little. Also, the first spray tickled my nose and made me cough, so I won’t be buying it again.
