Far Away Splendoria by Avon

Far Away Splendoria isn’t for everyone. Despite promising few notes, it smells like a floral-woody labyrinth where the wood isn’t warm, but that elusive oud that’s hard to define, paired with a touch of gray amber not listed on the label. Vanilla doesn’t show up, but there’s that plum and white flowers that freshen the air. It’s not soapy or powdery; the gardenia balances everything with elegance. It’s its own version of Poison: deep and mysterious, not a dupe, but something rare for dressing up at night. Not for everyone, just like Royale; both are strange but distinct. Some link it to Alien (yes, a distant cousin) or Rare Pearls (but nothing alike, I hate that one). The longevity is brutal: it lasted 12 hours from morning until the next day, though by the end it was just on the skin. Projection is moderate; in summer it can be overwhelming, but in cool weather, 4 sprays are enough. For ages 25+, nothing juvenile or grandma-like, simply for women. A gem, but test before buying.

Even though my partner wears it, I wouldn’t recommend it as a signature scent as much as others; there are better options. It’s an Eau de Parfum, so it has good longevity. Although its projection is low, that invites people to lean in and smell closer, especially that clean white floral note that remains at the end. If you’re looking for a perfume that smells great, has acceptable longevity, and is extremely affordable, I do recommend it.

It offers more than it’s worth and smells better than its price suggests. If you’re not into blind buys, test it first.

Avon’s Far Away Splendoria smells spicy, oriental, and woody; as it dries down, it reveals gardenia and vanilla. Mix it with Far Away Royale and Rare Pearls. It’s serious and formal, perfect for special nights and cold weather. Moderate trail and lasts 3-6 hours. Best for those over 25.

Since I heard about it, I knew I needed a bottle. Here’s a niche perfume for just $15—absolutely spectacular. It’s versatile, elegant, casual, and unisex; a real gem for any occasion. The oud gives it that Arab-oriental touch, making it suitable even for men.

Imagine Dior’s Pure Poison without its sophisticated halo. The notes don’t matter much; it smells like zesty orange, neroli, and lots of wood. After a while, it settles and becomes less sharp, but, all in all, it’s a NO.

Smells good and high quality. At first, the oud dominates, but over time the gardenia and plum come out along with the vanilla. On my dry skin, it lasted about 6 hours.

To me, it smells like coconut and shea butter, just like those Coquitas cookies. I really like it, although I had just tried it.

Smoked plum with oud, a dark gardenia, and that vanilla… I loved it. It’s like a distant cousin of Alien.
