Avon Luck for Her by Avon is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2014, this composition was created by Adriana Medina-Baez and Sonia Constant. • Dear n42831: I don’t think it’s right to copy reviews from other pages. We hope you’ll share your own personal experience with this fragrance. Thank you!

  • I only detect the red berries, both sweet and acidic. It also reminded me of the scent of ‘mixed berry’ herbal teas. It’s pleasant. The longevity is moderate.

  • I only detect red berries, sweet yet tart at the same time. It reminded me of ‘mixed berry’ teas. It’s pleasant. The longevity is moderate.

  • I tested this fragrance at an Avon store. When I applied it to my wrist, I was surprised by how similar it was to the famous strawberry lip glosses (here in Chile) that every girl had to reapply every five seconds. The scent on me ends just as it begins: sweet berry notes with a slight acidic and woody touch. It’s nice, but not surprising; I imagine it on a very young girl, as a first perfume, soft and perfect for school. It has a light sillage but lasts quite a while.

  • What a lovely perfume, it’s my favorite from Avon so far. Not just for the scent, but for its incredible longevity and sillage. I’d definitely buy it again. Highly recommended for those who enjoy sweet scents without being overpowering.

  • Damn, this is my favorite Avon scent to date. It smells amazing, but the real winner is how long it lasts and the amazing trail it leaves. I recommend it for anyone wanting something sweet without being heavy. I’d definitely buy it again.

  • I really like it, but I find it too sweet. Otherwise, it’s long-lasting and elegant. I’ll try it in winter to see how it performs.

  • My favorite from Avon—exquisite, and it appeals to both men and women. Moderate longevity, but it doesn’t matter; it’s a pleasure to reapply. I love it!

  • I tried this yesterday and it doesn’t resemble La Vie Est Belle or Armani Si at all. It reminds me a lot of Chance Tendre EDT, just less sparkling and more serious. Tendre has that fresh, spiced quince and hyacinth note with cedar… Maybe Luck takes some cues from Tendre EDP with the sandalwood. It smells clean, not soapy or creamy. The fruity notes dry down into sunny florals—less fresh, slightly ambered, with a dense, muted sandalwood base. I catch a bitter undertone at the end that cuts through the sweetness, with a touch of green between the flowers. Less spectacular than Tendre, but a great alternative for those who can’t spend thousands on Chanel and want that vibe for a few hundred at Avon.

  • Another one I’m running through. It’s super sparkly and cheerful, totally different from other perfumes. I get notes of red berries and citrus; it’s delicious and you’ll probably love it too. The bottle is cute and comfortable, though it doesn’t last long on me, so I keep it in my bag. The price is great and it’s worth it. It puts me in a good mood. I didn’t know much about Avon before, but I’ll try more based on your reviews since I have to buy online and can’t find a physical store.

  • Another one I’m finishing up—very sparkling and cheerful, smells like nothing I know. Red berries and citrus really stand out; it’s delicious and easy to wear. The bottle is cute and comfortable; I carry it everywhere because it doesn’t last long on me. Great price and worth it; it puts me in a good mood. I didn’t know Avon before, but I’ll try more based on your reviews since I have to buy online.

  • First purchase: fascinating, elegant, sophisticated, and long-lasting. I loved it. Second purchase: rich, but a bit cloying. I almost couldn’t finish it. Third purchase (the last one): overwhelming, sugary, and very sweet (though still elegant). I wore it three times and then gave it away. Yes, it lasts hours, but after a couple of hours I was already overwhelmed by the sweetness and could smell it on every movement.

  • I bought it for the first time and found it fascinating and sophisticated, lasting forever. The second time, it was rich but a bit sweet, I almost couldn’t finish the bottle. The third (and last) time: overpowering, cloying, and overly sweet. I used it three times and then gave it away. Yes, it lasts for hours, but after a couple of hours, I felt sickeningly sweet with every movement.

  • This was my first Avon purchase and I was blown away: I wasn’t in the mood, but what a surprise! It smells better than many designer brands, elegant, youthful, and sweet. The best part? It has the 3 Bs: good, beautiful, and cheap. A great experience; Luck for her is now on my list.

  • This is my first Avon perfume and I had no idea what to expect, but oh surprise! This bottle and its scent outperform many designer brands. It’s elegant, youthful, sweet, and best of all, it has the three B’s: good, beautiful, and cheap. The longevity and trail are top-notch. A very pleasant experience discovering Avon. Luck for Her is definitely a keeper.

  • pathypooh

Exquisite perfume. Fresh opening, but the creamy, sweet white florals come out quickly. The sandalwood feels super rich in the dry down. It’s youthful, versatile, and cheerful. It’s worth it since catalog brands are often overlooked. I highly recommend it. I’ve really enjoyed it.

  • Denissemx93

I love it! There’s a note that reminds me a lot of Chanel Eau Tendre. It’s my favorite, and I can’t believe I found one so affordable for daily use. It’s a bit less fresh than Eau Tendre, perhaps due to the white florals and creaminess that give it more seriousness, but the opening smells similar. I’d use it to save on Chanel, during the day, and without much heat. Definitely an excellent perfume.

  • Very delicious, but it lasts and projects nothing for me. What a pity! I’m not sure if it’s a dud because the opening is rich, sweet, and sparkling, but it fades quickly and feels like I sprayed a red berry body lotion. I bought the 15ml version and wouldn’t buy the full bottle, even though it looks beautiful for my collection. Based on what I can smell, it seems cheerful, youthful, and perfect for everyday wear—sweet but not cloying. I can’t believe it’s an EDP.

  • It’s a lovely perfume—sweet and fruity. I’m very sensitive to fruit notes, so it’s not my favorite. However, it’s delicate and doesn’t overwhelm me. After a while, the fruits blend with white florals and become cloyingly sweet. Still, it’s not a disaster.

A nice low-cost option, one of the best I’ve tried. It has good projection and satisfying longevity. It’s not a bomb, but close. I’ll buy it again when I run out.

  • Nice and low-cost, but one of the best I’ve tried. Good sillage and gratifying longevity. It’s not a beast but almost there. I’ll definitely repurchase when I finish it.

  • Luck for Her is a floral-sweet scent, like flowers with caramel, soft, not intrusive or gourmand. Reminds me of Ari by Ariana Grande, but less sweet and more mature. Overall, it’s very feminine and versatile. On me, it lasted half an hour, with five hours of sillage and a soft trail, almost meant just to enjoy; it lingers more on clothes than on skin. Still, it’s pretty and has almost universal appeal. Who will like it: everyone, it’s beautiful

  • Smells like red berries with whipped cream. The trail is exquisite, but up close I detect an acidic and strange note that I don’t quite like. It seems delicate and refined, like something for afternoon tea. The little bottle is gorgeous; it looks more expensive than it is

  • A sweet fragrance, pleasant for occasional use in winter or fall. In my opinion, it’s not for daily wear because it becomes a bit generic and overwhelming

  • It smells more fruity than floral and super sweet. Reminds me of Ari, but it has a synthetic fruit note that scares me a bit, almost cloying. The trail and longevity are good. Edit: I figured out the note that bothers me, even though it’s not listed; it smells like overly ripe apples lol

  • Woody, sweet, and floral, without being heavy in any of the three aspects. Very similar to Bare by Victoria’s Secret; I hope it comes back in Avon’s catalogs
