Descripción
Wulong Cha X by Nishane is an olfactive fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2023, this composition is signed by perfumer Julien Rasquinet. The top notes of bergamot, yuzu, may chang, and mandarin offer a fresh, citrusy opening; the heart reveals the elegance of green tea, magnolia, and thyme; while the base settles on the warmth of musk and the sweetness of fig.

Starts with an intense Oolong tea note that quickly blends with citrus and florals. It’s a delight that evolves over time: fresh at first, then creamy in the dry down where a high-quality magnolia really shines. I’m very picky about unisex scents and usually prefer ones that lean masculine, but this one, even though it’s neutral, I absolutely love it.
In the debate over whether perfumes have a gender, everyone sprays what they want. But we live in a culture, and Wülóng Chá X doesn’t smell like typically masculine ingredients. It’s a floral and tea extract. On a young girl in summer, it’ll turn heads and get smiles from everyone. On a bearded balding guy, it’ll become a conversation starter: girls will ask where he got it, and colleagues will joke about stealing it for his sister. Nishane wants to sell it, and if calling it unisex helps, I’m not here to contradict their marketing. It smells fresh, with something sweet, floral, and fruity. Quite pleasant, but outside the internet, in real life, it’s not unisex.

Sometimes it’s scary to share an opinion, fearing people will say your nose isn’t trained or that you can’t tell good from bad. But honestly, I don’t care. To be frank: three sprays on my wrist smell like expensive, bitter tea. After a minute, it’s gone. Poof. Nothing left.
