I’m a man and wear this for dates: an elegant rose that doesn’t overpower, yet it sometimes catches women’s attention. It’s floral but soft, blending well with wood and amber; as it dries, it smells clean, almost soapy. Lasts well and leaves a nice scent on clothes.

It’s an elegant, soft rose scent, nothing overpowering. I’m a guy who wears it for dates; sometimes it attracts women without needing to spray excessively. It’s floral but well-balanced with wood and amber, drying down to a clean, almost soapy scent. Lasts well and leaves a nice smell on clothes.

At first, it’s citrusy and refreshing, then within seconds a young, soft rose emerges—very feminine yet long-lasting. As it dries, the rose settles over a light wood without losing its spotlight. Excellent: it conveys cleanliness and elegance, with moderate sillage and great longevity on my skin.

  4. Beremora

This is one of the most potent rose fragrances I own, so I use it sparingly to avoid being overwhelming. I thought it would be like other Cartier scents—not invasive if you don’t overdo it—but this one is super long-lasting and projects a lot. I prefer it in cooler seasons. High quality and evokes freshly cut red roses; if you don’t like roses, it might not be your thing, but I always recommend testing it on skin.

Exquisite; it’s the most potent rose I own. I use it sparingly to avoid bothering anyone. I thought it would be like other Cartier roses that don’t invade unless you overdo it, but this one is super long-lasting and projects a lot on me. I prefer it in cooler seasons. It’s high quality, typical of Cartier; to me, it evokes freshly cut red roses. If you’re not a fan of roses, this might not be your cup of tea, but I always recommend testing it on skin.

I love Goutte de Rose: it reminds me of a rose just beginning to bloom, delicate, tender, yet captivating. It smells exactly like that—fresh roses with subtle woody touches. It’s not heavy, perfect for hot weather, with moderate sillage and fixation. Highly recommended.

  7. A lovely, simple, and easy-to-wear perfume. If you’re in a rush and don’t know what to wear, this makes a great companion. It’s long-lasting, makes you feel fresh and clean; the rose is noticeable, but the other notes make it perfect.

La Goutte de Rose is a beautiful and simple rose perfume, without big pretensions, just wanting to be a fragrant rose. When I wear it, I feel like rose petals are falling from my dress. It’s a young rose, with morning dew, very feminine, linear, fresh, and clean. Rose is the star, embraced by wood and a bit of vanilla; I didn’t notice the amber on my skin. It’s very spring-like, perfect for daytime wear, it lasts well but with moderate sillage. It evokes freshness, delicacy, and femininity. Rating 7/10 PD. It’s very similar to Tous Rose, Aura by Swarovski, Roses by Chloé, and Stella by Stella McCartney.

It’s a very simple perfume, basically just smells like roses. I like the scent, though I find it quite weak and I don’t think it lasts long. I own it, but I haven’t fallen in love with this fragrance yet.

At first, I wasn’t convinced because it reminded me of L’Eau d’Issey Florale, and I thought it would have the same acidity, but thanks to a sample, I saw it wasn’t like that. The opening is rose with a hint of fruit, very fresh. As it dries, I detect woods, roses, and a touch of vanilla that give a nice warmth. I feel it’s totally feminine, fresh, cheerful, and most importantly, very long-lasting, over 10 hours; its trail is moderate to soft.
