Descripción
Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca is an aromatic green fragrance for men and women. Launched in 1999, this composition was created by Jean-Paul Guerlain and Mathilde Laurent. The top notes reveal a lemon with a touch of acidic lime and white clover; the heart unfolds with mint and green tea; while the base notes complete the structure with valley lily and cyclamen.

This fragrance is like lounging on freshly cut grass, fresh and damp… and enjoying it. That freshness rises to the nose and hits the brain like a crazy explosion. Longevity and sillage are moderate. Ideal for sunny spring and summer days. Herba Fresca is pure exquisite.
I tried it and I loved it. It smells like freshly cut grass… very summery.
Just bought it; it’s the freshest fragrance I’ve ever smelled. A delightful mentholated experience. It’s very soft and doesn’t last long, but I bought it because it smells delicious and is ideal for hot days. A very natural and simple aroma; on my skin, mint is the star. The bottle is beautiful.
I just bought it and it’s the freshest fragrance I’ve tried. A delightful menthol, very soft and not very long-lasting, but I bought it because it smells delicious and ideal for hot days. Natural and simple scent; on my skin, mint is the star. The bottle is gorgeous.
A mint gum like those flat, rectangular ones from the past, type Wrigley’s.
As always, Guerlain perfumes have an excellent finish, very herbal, although I confess my favorite from the Allegories is Passiflora.
I put it on and I turn into a mint gum; I love it because I’m a huge gum fan. This fragrance is total!
I’m glad I didn’t buy it blind. I had some thoughts. I don’t know how to analyze the pyramid much, maybe tea with sweet notes. It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s somewhat bland and very soft. Of course, and this is key, tested in full December outdoors, it’s not its element. Same if I use it to refresh in summer, that changes my opinion.
The Guerlain sales associate at El Corte Inglés didn’t have samples and just refilled a bottle for me. I took it to my son, and he said it smells like a car air freshener. I don’t notice anything either, maybe a very faint mentholated touch. After 20 minutes, an hour, and two hours, it’s still the same for both of us. Incomprehensible that Guerlain would create this. I’m not even bothered to look at the rest of the Allegoria line.
The Guerlain sales associate at El Corte Inglés didn’t have testers, but kindly refilled a bottle for my son. He said it smells like car air freshener; I barely notice anything, maybe a very faint menthol touch. After applying it to the skin, both of us still thought the same thing even after two hours: it smells like air freshener. I only detect a barely perceptible chemical mint scent. It’s incredible that a Guerlain fragrance would be like this, so I’m not even bothered to look at the rest of the Allegoria line.
So frustrating. I always think that when I try it. At first, it smells like wet, freshly cut grass, bitter green, earthy, with flashes of water and a hint of damp soil. But after two minutes, it turns into soft mint, no gum, with a bitter edge and no sugar. After half an hour, it smells like cleaning products and 2000s car air fresheners. It seems like some notes or intensity are missing. That’s my take: so frustrating. Maybe it’s just a chemistry issue.
I was looking for a mint-scented perfume and found it. Fresh, herbal, and slightly sweet. Very natural and delicious.
I was looking for a perfume with a mint scent and I found it. Fresh, herbal, and with a sweet touch. Very natural and delicious.
What a disappointment; it smells like peppermint and a cloying mojito.
What a disappointment. It just smells like peppermint, a cloying mojito.
Herba Fresca smells like sweetened mint tea. I liked using it, but for the price, I’d prefer a cheaper cologne with the same performance. I won’t be buying it again.
A fresh scent that reminds me of a mint and lemon infusion, giving a perfect sense of freshness. Too bad its trail and longevity are scarce… at this price, I’ll look for other options.
Refreshing scent that reminds me of a mint and lemon infusion, a perfect feeling of freshness. Too bad the trail and longevity are so weak… at this price, I’ll look for other options.
I love it for mornings. It’s fresh, far from those cloying EDTs and EDPs of today. On my skin, it lasts up to four hours, which isn’t bad at all. Guerlain continues to deliver.
Some say it smells like fresh grass, others claim it doesn’t last at all. For me, it’s a delight, even if the longevity is debatable. Maybe I’ll try it or not buy it, even as a gift.
It’s a fresh and invigorating fragrance that, despite its age, remains trendy. It smells like green mint with clean, aromatic citrus notes. A perfect cologne for young men and women, featuring that old-school artisanal style but with an ethereal floral touch that adds class. Ideal for leisure, daytime outings, or relaxing at home with your hobbies. Now available at great prices in perfumeries. A refreshing and distinguished scent, in the style of Jean Paul Guerlain. Although originally designed for women, it’s now fully unisex thanks to the evolution of men’s perfumery. A cologne for all ages looking for something invigorating. A Guerlain success that continues to be hugely popular.
It’s refreshing, invigorating, and despite the years, it hasn’t gone out of style. Smells like fresh green mint with clean, aromatic citrus. The perfect cologne for young men and women. It has that artisanal style of old colognes but with an ethereal floral touch that adds class. Ideal for leisure and daytime outings, and also informal enough to relax at home with your hobbies. Now on great deals. A distinguished perfume like Guerlain’s. It used to be feminine when I first wore it, but today it’s totally unisex. Suitable for all ages and anyone seeking something invigorating. A Guerlain hit that continues to please.
For hot days, the mint gives me a little weakness. I loved the scent of this Aqua Allegoria, but the longevity is so poor I wouldn’t buy it. Perfect for after a shower; starts with a vigorous lemon note and then turns into a soapy, clean, cheerful mint. It’s a familiar scent I recognize but can’t quite place. Ideal for everyday wear, unisex, for going out or staying in with your bathrobe.
Smells like peppermint and so much more. Brings me back to mojito memories.
I think this is the perfume Hermione from Harry Potter would wear. It smells like freshly cut grass, toothpaste, and mint. If I had to choose between this mint and the current reformulated Aqua di Giò, I’d stick with Guerlain.
Mmm, different from everything. So delicious, I like it a lot. It’s super distinct from any fragrance I’ve tried. It smells like mint, toothpaste, and freshly cut grass with a citrus base. Fresh, clean, and peculiar; it energizes you. What a wonderful aroma. Unfortunately, I don’t feel it’s very long-lasting; it’s extremely soft. I should try it on skin; I’m very curious. I’m not quite sure how it makes me feel or what occasion to use it for, but it seems super lovely and unique.
It was exactly what I expected from a mint perfume and exceeded my expectations regarding the scent, as I was looking for something that truly smells like mint. The longevity doesn’t reach three hours, but I don’t mind. The bottle is beautiful; it always caught my eye. It’s fresh, revitalizing, and I love it.
Definitely, this Aqua Allegoria isn’t for me. It smells like mint bubblegum or toothpaste, and I don’t like that in a perfume. The sillage is poor and the longevity is the same. Normally, I love the Aqua Allegoria collection; most of them, but this one isn’t for me. The green tea note is also very strong and I don’t like it. Sorry, Guerlain.
I didn’t like it; I expected something more refined from this Guerlain line and instead found a minty aroma that clashes, reminding me of toothpaste or, as someone said, a mojito. In the dry-down, where the tea notes should come in, I don’t notice any improvement.
I didn’t like it much; I expected something more refined from Guerlain and instead found a minty scent that felt scratchy, reminding me of toothpaste or, as they say, a mojito. In the dry-down, when the tea comes in, I don’t perceive any improvement.
Adding to the toothpaste comment: it’s pleasant and refreshing, but in my opinion, it lacks complexity. My favorite mint scent remains Xerjoff’s Torino 21.
It’s very original and daring; it was when it was born and still is today. The notes are simple, but their combination is explosive. Misunderstood, it’s a marvel of light and nature. The stars are lemon, green tea, and mint—stunning, eclipsing the delicate essence of lily of the valley and taming that bold green. My favorite from the Aqua Allegoria collection and one of my personal all-time favorites. In my case, the longevity is exceptional; I’m just lucky.
I remember receiving a small gift bottle of this fragrance; it was a fresh and unforgettable aroma.
I received this by mistake when ordering Guerlain’s Rose Verte; the seller mixed up the orders and gave me this one (be careful with the similar packaging), but what a delightful surprise! I’ve been getting into fresh, herbal scents, and this is perfect. Some people smell it like bubblegum or a mojito, but I find it complex: the mint takes the lead, while lemon and green tea support it. The other notes are barely noticeable, but it’s a treat if you like this style. It’s like being in an herb garden in summer. I wouldn’t recommend buying it blindly if you’re unsure, but for me, it’s an 8/10 for the scent. Longevity and sillage are only 4/10, wish they were better, but personally, I love it!
To me, this is the absolute quintessential summer classic; it’s the kind of seasonal scent others should strive to copy. Close your eyes and you feel the cold vanish; the sun warms the frozen earth and caresses the vegetation. It evokes a morning meadow with dew and sunlight—a fresh, natural aroma that doesn’t smell chemical, but rather like a mojito packed with mint and green tea. Many flankers carry this same DNA. Until yesterday, I didn’t know a perfume existed capable of conjuring summer in the dead of winter.
