My grandmother gave it to me for my birthday because some of her friends told her this was the best perfume and that’s true; it smells good, powdery, floral, even a bit clean or fresh, but I feel like it smells like ‘grandma’ to me, when I wear it I just think I smell like that (no wonder she and her friends love it so much). It’s not a scent I dislike, as I find it similar to a perfume I really like, ‘Kriska Classic’ by Natura, it could be a close dupe, but Flower by Kenzo is much more powdery and less sweet, it reminds me of when I was little and I’d get out of the bath at my grandmother’s house, she’d apply me rose-scented powders, that’s what this perfume smells like to me. The longevity is moderate, about 6 hours, and the trail and projection (at least on me) aren’t very good. Maybe I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a youthful perfume, because it literally smells like that, rose talcum powder.
Powder, powder, and more powder. A cloud of creamy talc and powdery creaminess that feels like an enchanting, love-inducing spell. It’s a delicious beauty that lasts hours and evokes feelings of cleanliness and absolute relaxation. Another one in the same style, though not identical but very much in that powdery vibe with a creamy dry down, is PRADA CANDY, another one I’m crazy about, just that Prada’s is more carnal and sensual while Kenzo’s is cuter. What a beautiful perfume!
I think you either love this perfume or hate it. I love it, but I admit it needs to be used sparingly and, in my opinion, only in winter. It dries down to a very warm and complex scent that I find delicious. But as I said, use it sparingly, a little ‘fris-frus’ on the neckline and you’re good to go.
I don’t know which bottle it was, but I think it was. Let’s just say it was an accidental gift because a woman who sold us a house left it in a forgotten closet (weird, I know). It was almost full and I finished it in less than a year, what a treasure. Powdery and floral, perfect for spring and summer, but you really have to love powdery scents, otherwise stay away.
Was my favorite perfume for several years until they started using that scent in floor cleaners, plus it became so popular because it’s so easy to clone; get it, I ended up hating the smell.
I don’t detect any woody or balsamic notes… Just very talc-heavy and quite floral. One dose and I have an aura with an incredibly prominent sillage. The amber and vanilla are very subtle up close, while the frankincense is hidden like a lover’s gift. Powder and flowers; it evokes cleanliness but not relaxation at the level of White Tea (EA) or White Musk (TBS). It’s a soaped-up baby, lasting until you say ‘enough!’ It has a vintage touch. I prefer L’Eau Jolie by Lolita Lempicka. 🕯️ 3/10.🍂
What stands out most and lingers is the talc note; I feel that note is a bit too strong. During the day and in heat, it’s a total no; it’s better suited for winter nights.
I didn’t like it. It smells like baby powder. It is ‘rich,’ yes, but that’s not what an adult wants to smell like.
Its main characteristic is powdery sweetness. If you don’t like the powdery vibe, look elsewhere. The powdery note is its signature. Hopefully, they never change it.
Fresh but intense, it lasts forever and wraps you in a cloud of cotton and flowers with talc. I’m fascinated by how it evolves and its longevity is incredible. If you go out at night, you’ll still smell like it the next day. Obviously, it’s not for those who dislike intensity, but if you like it, it could be your favorite; I never get tired of smelling it whenever I wear it.
It always smelled like gastric juices to me.
Soft, floral, and talc-heavy. I’ve used it so much, both the original and an excellent Caravan (36) dupe. I didn’t realize it had frankincense; I never noticed it. I don’t wear it as much anymore, but it was my everyday scent for years: winter, fall, spring, summer, day, night, meetings, or formal dinners. It fits anywhere.
It’s a pure floral fragrance, no secrets. I started with enthusiasm until halfway through the bottle and had to stop. I started hating it fifteen years ago. I’ve reconciled with Flower (I know it’s been reformulated), but I apply it sparingly because its floral soul saturates me easily. Does it bother me that it’s powdery? No, my nose has little patience for delicate florals that turn out to be dramatically intense. For a while in spring, the rest of the year… pass.
I have a dupe that smells just like the original, and I’m writing this for anyone interested. No one ever asked what cologne I was wearing until I started using this; people told me I smelled spectacular. Since then, it’s a staple in my collection, day and night, winter and summer. The longevity is spectacular for the price; it’s the dupe brand starting with ‘S’ called Pink.
Flower by Kenzo is imposing; its blend of incense and flowers is radiant. On my skin, it accentuates the tangerine citrus and sweet vanilla, a cocktail of fruits and roses that fascinates me. I wear it lightly during the day so as not to be too aggressive in enclosed spaces.
True to its name, it’s floral: strong, long-lasting, and classic. It can sound a bit old-fashioned because it’s so well-known and appeals to all ages, but I love it every time I smell it. Its longevity is excellent, like other Kenzo fragrances. It’s the typical school-play scent, suitable for day or night, especially in spring but wearable year-round.
Flower by Kenzo is a delicate powdery floral, a timeless icon that evokes a blooming garden with freshness and elegance. It stays relevant and sophisticated for any occasion.
A delicate violet and rose scent, incredibly sweet. Reminds me of baby oils but more feminine and powdery. I sleep amazingly well wearing it.
Smells like baby powder, which is exactly what I was looking for; seems perfect for layering.
Got it as a gift. It’s super floral with great sillage and longevity, but on my skin it smells like baby powder and gives off an ‘old lady’ vibe. I know some young people who wear it well, but it’s definitely not my style.
I truly love it. I associate powdery scents with freshness; wearing it after a shower is the best. It smells super powdery, like baby, just as others say. If you’re looking for that scent, this is the one. The first time I used it, I went heavy and got overwhelmed, so two or three sprays are more than enough. It’s become my favorite, and when this bottle runs out, I’ll keep buying it.
This was my second imported perfume way back in 2012; I still have it, and it’s a powdery floral that fascinates me. It has significant projection and sillage.
If a fragrance has been on the market for 25 years and is still selling, it’s because it’s beautiful. Flower by Kenzo is that. On my skin, it smells woody, floral, and powdery. It’s a classic of classics, but I don’t feel it’s vintage at all. It lasts and projects without being overpowering. Simply beautiful.
I already tried the Caravan dupe and loved it so much that I decided to buy the original… what a joy. From the first spray, I fell in love: it’s much finer and more intense than the copy. At first, it’s a fresh bouquet of flowers, floral to the max, but then it turns deeply powdery, which is my favorite part: pure baby powder. If you like smelling like that, it’s ideal. The longevity is good, and it projects on you (it’s not one of those that smells on others but not on you).
It’s a beautiful powdery floral. On my skin, it smells exactly like Nivea cream—super clean and not heavy at all. Even though it’s floral, it doesn’t smell old; it’s a classic that suits women of all ages because it’s neither outdated nor childish, just very pretty and pleasant.
I just tried it on my skin and I absolutely adore it. It’s exactly that ‘your skin but better’ style.
It feels very dense to me and gives me a headache. It’s extremely floral and feels overdone, like my grandmother’s perfumes, which is why I think it smells too much. The good thing is that I was gifted it, because I wouldn’t have bought it myself.
It’s a blend of sweet violets, soft roses, and a creamy base that smells like fine feminine talc. If you like that powdery vibe, it’s present all the time. While it’s delicate, it can be overwhelming if you overapply it. It works perfectly year-round except in summer, where the heat makes it feel a bit suffocating. It’s sweet, musky, and very feminine, with moderate projection and lasting more than 9 hours on clothes.
This is the first Alberto Morillas fragrance that doesn’t work for me; it smells like lavender and baby powder to me. It’s pleasant and the notes feel natural, not synthetic, and it lasts all day, but it doesn’t make me feel sexy. I gifted it to my mom, and I suspect she uses it because she knows it’s expensive, even if she doesn’t love it. The mistake was smelling it on someone else instead of myself; I probably confused it with one of his flankers. It doesn’t smell bad—it’s classic, vintage, long-lasting, wearable in summer, not strong, and not annoying. I just don’t like any of the notes, and it feels very flat.
It’s second skin of powdery flowers. Maybe it just hasn’t aged very well.
Back in 2020, when I bought an old country house that had been on the market for 15 years, I found this perfume hidden in the bathroom cabinet of the previous owner. My mom gave it to me, and since then it’s been my signature scent until I ran out. To me, it was pure magic in a bottle, and I didn’t try anything else. Maybe I’ll find it again someday.
According to Fragrantica it has a thousand notes, but to me it just smells like cheap powder, pure powder, and nothing else.
I bought it blind because my mom talked about it all the time in the 2000s. I loved it at first. Yes, it’s very powdery, but I like the clean scent. I use it at the gym or for long runs; I know it won’t fade even if I sweat. It lasts days on clothes, with a long and lasting trail.
I never understand the hate; it’s one of those scents that defines your life. In my case, I love the powdery aroma; it’s not vintage, it’s clean. I love wearing it after a shower in summer, it’s super comfortable. I use it for personal enjoyment, not to get compliments; it doesn’t draw too much attention.
Oh, Flower! It transports me back to when I was 2 at my godmother’s house; everything smelled like her signature. Those sweet flowers give me so much nostalgia. It’s powdery, floral, very ‘preppy girl’, soft and innocent. Obviously, it’s not for everyone; I like it for the sentimental weight, without it it wouldn’t be my top pick. I smelled it again with a friend and relived everything. Good performance, but the trail fades quickly, lasting about 6 hours with a sillage of just a few meters.
It smells very floral, but not in a good way; it’s dense. It feels like a perfume for older women. I wouldn’t buy it; I tested the sample. Don’t buy blind.
They gifted it to me, and it smells like powder. I hate it. It’s too heavy for a talc scent; it smells old. I tried wearing it after a shower to sleep, but it was impossible. It’s loud on its own. It gives me fatigue and headaches. Nope.
I love it. I had this as a teenager to feel elegant and office-ready. Out of all the Kenzos I’ve tried, this is the king. A classic that earned its spot.
Kenzo never misses! I own it and I love it. I can smell it on my skin and clothes for hours, easily more than 6. I’m going for the Cherry Poppy 😉
The moment I smelled it, I thought: ‘pretty girl’. It’s floral and soft, perfect for feeling good and confident without being loud. It doesn’t suit me much, but if you’re looking for something sweet, elegant, and subtle, it’s your thing. Just make sure you don’t sweat too much and don’t live in the heat.
