It feels like an aftershave: blue liquid, menthol freshness, and licorice dominating with vetiver and an ozony touch of violet. It’s soft, fresh, and synthetic, fitting like a second skin, though the vetiver should stand out more. Original but unbalanced. No longer in stock. I give it 2 out of 5.

Very similar to Cartier’s Roadster. Fresh but with a slight warmth. Moderate projection, nothing that makes you say ‘I can’t live without this.’ Very simple composition.

A good option if you’re tired of lemon waters or anything forcedly fresh. Vetiver Bleu is solid, balanced, and lasted 10 hours on my skin (the last 4 skin-close). Ideal for fall: opens sweet and spicy, blending rich licorice with green, earthy vetiver, appetizingly highlighted by a subtle mint that acts as a fan. The interplay of notes is rewarding and rare these days. It’s not for the masses, but a challenge in the upper segment. Wear it from spring to fall; it’s a gift for the nose, an entry-level vetiver with decent quality, a pleasant mix of gray smoke and fresh breeze typical of the Cartier Eau de line.

I see others criticize it for being linear, but for me, it’s not negative or strictly linear. This Fresh Vetiver is EXQUISITE and performs excellently in warm climates. For fans of Eau de Cartier, this flanker has the line’s DNA subtly. I believe VETIVER BLEU has more than those 3 declared notes.

Wow! I bought it blind and it didn’t disappoint. A slightly sweet vetiver, with woods and a touch of menthol freshness. For me, it’s an excellent vetiver. 8.5 out of 10.

I agree it’s very linear, but I do perceive the vetiver and it seems fabulous to me. It’s impossible for a man to look bad with this scent: it’s masculine, refreshing, clean, and with light woody touches. In Vetiver Bleu, the vetiver dominates, with mint freshness, a spicy touch of licorice, and a woody spark. It’s intense, opulent, and very masculine (though since I like vetiver, I use it to relax at night). It’s vibrant and relaxing; I love wearing it to sleep and smelling it on men where the vetiver takes more power. Sillage and longevity are soft to moderate. I love the concept of this Cartier line: sometimes the simplest things hold the greatest beauty.
