  • I smell dark violets and woods, plus that sense of cleanliness; it’s not bad. It lasts about 6 hours. I use it several times during the day, but I realized it’s much more attractive at night. I use it in winter and autumn because the scent becomes too strong for me otherwise.

It’s not that it doesn’t last; it lasts and projects very well, you just need to know where to use it. It works better at night, not because it’s a night scent, but because it performs better there. It has an excellent trail in a nighttime setting, about 1.5 meters, and easily lasts 5 hours projecting very well. The cleaner the environment, the better it performs. It’s a somewhat linear scent, but you don’t need it to evolve thanks to that exquisite and unique violet and ash aroma with cedar notes. Without a doubt, my signature fragrance.

  • Hugo Boss Bottled Night. Not everything artificial has to be bad; this Hugo Boss proposal feels the least natural, which is good—in fact, it’s very good. The star is violet, joined by woods and lavender giving it a nocturnal personality. It can be worn during the day, but at night is its natural habitat. It goes with formal wear; if not with a suit and tie, at least with some elegance (it doesn’t go with jeans). It’s very masculine, denotes maturity and successful personality. In short: a masculine and elegant fragrance. Women like it. Scent: 8.5, Projection: Moderate, Longevity: 6 hours. Recommended.

  • It’s dry, incisive, and has personality. It’s wearable all year round; it looks great not just at night but also during the day. It’s violets, aromatic lavender with cedar and citrus. The scent is linear, but I find it pleasant. It’s synthetic but doesn’t cloy or remind me of detergents; it’s well-crafted synthetic. Perfect for work in a suit or elegant outings with family. It smells different and has that Hugo Boss touch that generates optimism. Don’t buy blindly; test it on skin first. It’s not sweet, it’s sharp.

  • If you’re wondering whether to buy it, the answer is YES, ABSOLUTELY. It’s a very personal scent, different from the original due to those woodier notes, and you can tell it moves away from the apple and fruity notes of the previous version. It’s fantastic; maybe don’t box it in just for night use—it’s super versatile and easy to wear. Don’t let them fool you into thinking it doesn’t last; it’s one of the few where once you put it on, it smells the same until it fades. The opening is sparkling, violet combined with well-treated lavender, and as it dries down, the violet potency fades to leave lavender, a bit of violet, and lots of wood. It lasts a long time. I recommend it 100%.

  • Thank goodness I could grab another bottle. It’s pure lavender, violet, and white wood blended very elegantly, masculine, and original. Far from those thousand maritime and ‘blue’ men’s perfumes. If you can get one, try it, and if you like it, you won’t regret it.

  • I was pleasantly surprised; it smells much better than I expected: white wood, soapy, and dry, with lavender and violet. It smells like a freshly showered man, halfway between blue and woody. The name ‘Night’ in 2010 would have made sense, but today I see it as ideal for work; it projects a clean, sophisticated, and put-together image. It suits any age, though if I had to pick a range, it’s perfect for 25 and up. The projection and longevity are like Hugo Boss—nothing invasive, so if someone walks by, they’ll think you’re clean. I’ve seen it for 43 euros (a bit pricey), but I got it for 30. Rating: 7.5/10.

  • Literally smells like ironing a shirt. I’m not saying it smells bad, but it’s a pretty flat scent.

  • I don’t like it at all. It smells like baby powder and cleaning products. It’s feminine and has no interesting points. I use women’s perfumes that are on another level; this one just smells clean. The longevity is good and the trail is soft.

  • Erik Obiol

Honestly, at first it seemed very flat and didn’t convince me, but then I got the hang of it. It starts with a strong floral blast of lavender and violet, and after 10 minutes, a white musk emerges that adds so much depth. It’s complex, evolves through different notes, and while it smells like violet almost the whole time, that musky balance gives it a super masculine touch. Try it a few times; the first use isn’t very striking, but on skin, it becomes a beast.

Hugo Boss Night, what can I say… first off, it has nothing nocturnal or dark about it; it works great for summer and hot days. Second, it’s a very flat fragrance: it’s lavender plus lavender, an extra dose of lavender, and a little violet somewhere. I expected something else for going out to night parties, but nope, for that there are other fragrances.

  • It smells very clean, totally masculine. The lavender is very prominent and gives that clean scent that dominates all phases, with subtle woody notes alongside the florals. The name feels too big for it; I don’t see it as a nighttime fragrance; on the contrary, it’s very versatile for late afternoon and evening, preferably during those hours. Definitely not for summer. Longevity is a maximum of 5 to 6 hours with moderate sillage; I apply 8 to 10 sprays.

  • It smells clean; it’s a pretty standard perfume that reminds me of an old one I used to have or that a close uncle or relative wore. It doesn’t really compare to other ‘The Night’ scents. I feel it’s for any occasion and just for smelling good. I ordered this, Tonic, and Tonic again; I absolutely loved Tonic. It just arrived today, and I’m not sure how long it will last, but for the price, I’ll definitely use it twice. I prefer Tonic for night—it feels more special—while Night is better for daytime and any occasion. Night smells stronger or more concentrated; two sprays are enough for me. Night isn’t bad, but I think if I’d tested it first, I wouldn’t have bought it just based on my taste. It’s more my style, but it smells like something for an older person.

  • Miguel Atenas S.

Wow, I can’t believe how good this is. It’s even more versatile than people say; it works for any occasion and season. It feels elegant, very masculine and sexy. It’s now one of my favorites, and the best part is I paid only about $30—what luck. I highly recommend it 10/10.

  • It’s a fairly flat scent; I expected more from it. It’s not surprising at all, it doesn’t smell bad, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

  • Roque_JAPR

I’ve used it twice. At first, it didn’t seem very pleasant upon arrival, and two female relatives preferred another perfume I bought that day. But last week at a meeting with friends, I received several compliments. After just three minutes, I could already smell the trail, and it was very pleasant. Today I wore it to work, and several colleagues complimented me, so I think it’s definitely worth it.

This fragrance is beautiful: simple, direct, and without any fuss, clean and pleasant from start to finish. It has the perfect vibe of a neat, well-dressed man with a touch of rebellion and sexiness in the air. Women love it; it smells like a man in a bottle. I have a 2015 batch that’s used and about three-quarters empty, quite aged, and it has become creamier. Before, when new and sealed, it was sharper and more citrusy. The longevity and projection are good, though on the lower side; it’s not a beast, but with a 5ml rollerball, I reapply every two hours and always smell like this great perfume, leaving a nice trail.

  • Nestorberetta

It’s a good night scent, noticeable but not very sophisticated. In my opinion, it lasts very little, about two hours, and projects for only an hour before settling close to the skin. It has a very good price.

  • Boss Bottled Night reminds me a lot of the original Fahrenheit, sharing that lavender and fatty violet with some effeminate touches of synthetic woods like Iso E Super. I like it because I’m a fan of Fahrenheit, but I don’t see much difference, except that here the leather is missing, which gives the original its character. Otherwise, it’s a good fragrance.

  • I can’t be very objective; I got it years ago at a great price, and it was an excellent aroma. Over time, as it aged, the longevity improved significantly. The Boss Bottled line is one of my favorites; they lack great longevity except for some flankers, but they have personality and aren’t generic. The notes differ from the box: top is birch leaf, heart is cardamom, and base is woody musk. The scent is linear, staying the same from start to finish. Powdery, strong, clean, slightly spicy; it radiates cleanliness. Although the box notes differ, it’s lavender + violet + woods + musk, maybe cardamomo. They’re all present the whole time. It’s linear but sticks to your nose for hours; it’s tremendous, and I love it. Even though it’s called Bottled Night, I don’t see it as just for night; it works well, and I’ve gotten compliments in those situations. It’s good for day or night, preferable in climates that aren’t heavy or hot. I use it for casual nighttime or semiformal daytime. Longevity improved after aging: initially just 5-6 hours, now 7-8 hours (not a beast mode), with projection and sillage up a bit. I don’t recommend it for heat. I tried the classic Fahrenheit, and they’re similar due to the violets, though the Dior one has more staying power and is heavier; this Boss one is cleaner and lighter. One of my favorites; if you can get it at a good price, give it a chance. I should get a 200 ml bottle.

  • Excellent cologne. Smells similar to the classic Fahrenheit but without the leather, making it softer, though the violets make them feel related. Along with The Scent, these are the best from the brand.

  • Just my experience with this beautiful perfume. Longevity isn’t over 8 hours, but it’s ideal for work or going out; very versatile and not as much of a nighttime scent as the name suggests. It’s a man’s painkiller, and wherever you are, you stand out with character and confidence. Longevity: 8/10. Projection: 8/10. Scent: 9/10. Sillage: 8/10. Total: 8/10. Don’t regret it; it’s sexy and will suit you.

  • A simple but characterful masculine scent; rich and addictive. Unfortunately, I feel the longevity is weak (30 mins to 1 hour projection, 4-5 hours on skin), maybe due to my batch or skin pH. If you can find it at a good price, I recommend it.

  • Carlo Hernandez

Bottle says semi-formal, but it’s a blind buy with zero regrets—it’s excellent. The lavender and violet stand out, adding a floral touch, but the woody tones give it masculine strength. A great option, especially considering Hugo Boss isn’t that expensive. Smells clean, crisp, and strong; very rich. Despite the name, it’s versatile; the lavender adds a powdery feel while the violet brings out the floral notes. Perfect for temperate weather, though it handles cold and heat fine. Projects really well. The only downside is the 5-6 hour longevity, but that’s typical for the Boss Bottled line anyway. A great buy if you want to smell good, project well, and feel clean.

  • I don’t know if I can be entirely objective, as I have a huge appreciation for this perfume that has accompanied me through many moments and which I always return to. I’m not exactly sure what it is, but it has something fascinating and mysterious, perhaps the cardamomo and lavender notes. To me, it’s floral, spicy, and musky; I don’t detect any wood. It feels incredibly elegant, and I almost always wear it at night, so in my mind, it’s linked to special events. That’s about it—it’s a good perfume, very versatile, with solid projection.

  • Flavio Rueda

Most compliments I get are ‘you smell like my dad.’ It’s a very masculine, serious aroma. Despite the name sounding fun and nocturnal, it’s actually great for daily wear and versatile for a serious, responsible man who knows what he wants.

  • I have a 2017 batch that I save for special occasions, mostly nighttime and serious events. At under 30, when I wear this, people say I radiate seriousness and elegance. It was my first designer perfume, a gift, but I wouldn’t buy it again because the scent doesn’t quite captivate me; that’s why I reserve it for those moments, where it performs luxuriously. Smells like very mature, bottled lavender. I don’t get why people recommend it for daily wear; it’s too mature and strong for that, though older folks might pull it off. Lasts about 5 hours with good projection. I’m not sure if they reformulated it, but it works for me. In short: very mature, for special and nighttime occasions (not parties, as it’s too stately), nothing juvenile, pure seriousness.

  • Mtro OMAR EM

Smells amazing—rich, sophisticated, and gives off a ‘made of money’ vibe. Doesn’t last forever, but it lasts well. I used to wear it only for nights out or special dinners, but now I use it daily since I’m running through my other bottles. I apply a little because it’s so good; I never get tired of it.

  • Billy Ramita

The opening is delicious, but it quickly turns into a generic scent, losing power and the sensuality of the violet against the dry base woods. Not bad, but it had so much more potential.

  • FherZamudio

Top notes are spot on. It’s not overly serious, yet it doesn’t feel juvenile either. Smells clean and elegant; everyone will love it. It’s not a longevity bomb, but it holds up well enough.

  • Strong lavender opening, then a faint violet throughout its life. I thought it was different; it smells sweet and powdery. Quite pleasant, but not much. Great for everyday wear.

  • Youtubersvendehumo

Serious, elegant, mysterious, and magnetic. For a sigma male. Very versatile, projects well, and lasts decently as an EDT. Smells like sour violet with dry woods and stable straw.

  • metroidsoldier

This one actually smells like violet and lavender—perfect for going out partying at night or before bed.

  • Bad purchase, even though I got it at 70% off. It doesn’t project, doesn’t last, and smells like Rexona Men deodorant mixed with a bit of Axe Musk and shaving cream. I wore it 15 times and it smelled like someone had bathed in deodorant; by the end of the hour, it was skin-scent only.

  • Rookiescent

I think this is my favorite men’s perfume. That elegance with a touch of mystery, serious yet playful—I love it. Anyone wearing this will catch my attention, and we could be friends, haha.

  • blvck-w-wilson

Like any BOSS fragrance, it’s elegant and rich, but like many from the brand, the projection and longevity are poor. It’s a shame. Nothing surprising, but if I see someone wearing it, I like it and remember it instantly.

  • I love the scent—it’s elegant, playful, fresh, and masculine, but the trail and projection are weak. Totally blue.
