You can tell right away if you like hard citrus notes like in Light Blue Forever, but here the tangerine takes the lead over the grapefruit, all set against a leather background similar to Intense Leather. As it dries down, the base feels a bit tied up, though it always retains that citrus touch that I personally don’t care for much. What really caught me by surprise was the longevity and projection: on my skin, it lasts over 12 hours and fills the room even after 6 hours.

Ferragamo Bright Leather smells of spices, aromatics, and a hint of citrus. The opening reminds me of Intense Leather with tangerine and spices, but it fades very quickly, leaving something very soft, almost skin-scent. Over time, a semi-sweet patchouli and musk emerge, while the leather is nearly imperceptible, smelling more like suede. I noticed the leather note more in the dry-down than on the skin. To me, it’s a rare fragrance—not too warm or fresh, and it projects little. Maybe it’s good for dates or formal events due to its elegance, ideal for mild weather. Longevity on me was a maximum of 5 to 6 hours, with a trail very close to the skin; I almost had to lean in to smell it, though occasionally a burst would reach me. I’m not sure if it’s low performance or if I got a bad tester, because on both skin and dry-down it’s barely noticeable. I’ll try it again to be sure.

Hi, does anyone know where to get it in Argentina with the gift pack that includes a bag or mini perfume? Thanks.

  • arielo_1976

Hi karina_1986, at Rouge perfumeries, when you buy the 100 ml bottle, they give you a 10 ml mini free.

Soft leather, quite sweet for my nose. Sweet fruity, something like melon. Performance is normal for a designer fragrance these days; the ones claiming to fill the room probably need to spray half a bottle or something.

  • Delicious and versatile; I detect a soft, tasty violet even though it’s not listed in the notes. Perfect for daily wear, except in extreme heat. Very masculine and sophisticated, it projects well. Lasts about 4 hours on skin, but lasts much longer when combined with clothing.

  • I love the scent—it’s very natural with zero synthetic notes. The notes I detect most are mandarin, rosemary, and basil. It has a slight sweetness that makes it absolutely delicious to me. I’m going to test the longevity and other aspects.

Good performance on my skin, very noticeable as it dries. Projection seems good to me. It has flashes of Fahrenheit, a clean and memorable scent. A very good signature for work, timeless. I found it for 50 euros in 100 ml, along with body wash and a 10 ml mini. A steal.

I love it; it gives me the same magical feeling I had when I first used 212 by CH almost 20 years ago. I feel like it’s a modernized 212, with a light leather touch. People who smelled me said it smells like “freshly cut grass” and they’re right: wet, cut grass, with light touches of leather and citrus. One of my favorites.

Filtered light through leather: that’s how this composition unfolds, with citrus highlights dancing at the edge of the skin: sparkling bergamot, tangerine caressing with golden sweetness, and a grapefruit adding subtle, electric tension, like a minor chord. Then, the heart pulses with polished modernity: white leather, smooth as a new jacket under the sun, surrounded by rosemary and basil that give it structure and edge. It’s clean, but not clinical; masculine, but never aggressive. Everything is calibrated with the lightness of a Japanese brushstroke. As it dries down, it finds its gravity in a musky, serene base. Patchouli adds a light, almost tactile shadow, while cedar elevates the composition with its elegant verticality. There’s no mystery here, but there is clarity: a proposal that bets on transparency as a virtue. It’s worn by those who appreciate harmony without fuss, luxury without noise, the kind of elegance that breathes quietly. If it were classical music, it would be Arvo Pärt’s ‘Fratres’: mystical minimalism, clear but with soul, beauty sustained in balance. In jazz terms, it sounds like Diego Schissi’s ‘On the Edge of the World’: sober, lyrical, with contained lyricism that never seeks the spotlight but leaves a mark. What color? A luminous beige with streaks of white and shadows of light leather. Clean, modern, perfectly edited.

  • Ridiculous performance, the worst I’ve seen. Two sprays and in 20 minutes it’s already a skin scent, almost imperceptible. Don’t buy it, not even as a gift; it’s a shame it smells good, but this doesn’t work. It reminds me of Prada L’homme drying out (stuffy, woody), with no rough leather, more like white suede. A Ferragamo disaster. I tested it with two other perfumes to rule out my nose. If it had projection, I’d consider it, but Fahrenheit? This lacks the power and masculine imprint of that beast. I repeat, it smells good, but with this projection, not even for personal enjoyment. I would have liked to feel more of it.

Royal mandarin, zero synthetics, with a leather and musk base that makes it elegant and unique. Smells clean, not soapy. Watch out for complaints about longevity: for a citrus, it lasts decently for 4-6 hours. Very rich for heat, slightly sweet, and easy to wear, nothing generic.
