  • Very sparkling top notes, with a very powerful predominance of green apple that covers up the mint at least on my nose during that initial phase of just a couple of minutes. Gradually, the mint becomes more distinguishable and its presence grows without leaving that first acidic, spicy, and hyper-chlorophyllic blast that tastes very much like fresh, refreshing green. Immediately, the fizzing drops to a more tranquil olfactory sensation, as if the scent settles on that same acidic green tapestry but now softer, more lush, and calmer. In this phase, a promise is fulfilled that seemed less visible amidst the vigor of the top notes, and that is what most turns me off: a sustained emanation of artificiality that irritates me. Like goosebumps in the middle of that pleasant tranquility the fragrance acquires after a few minutes, at the same time the apple note begins to recede. Still, that unpleasant nuance for me goes down, as if its flame attenuates and becomes less sour as the fragrance continues to settle into its middle phase. But it doesn’t disappear. After a short while, you feel that the woody base begins to consolidate, which feels very subtle in the background, while the herb mix continues to predominate after the mint is accompanied by the entry of basil. I don’t perceive the freesia floral note, and maybe the cilantro is very far off, but I suppose this says more about my inexperienced sense of smell than anything against the fragrance. The base notes highlight the wood more, but within the framework of an alarming disappearance of the fragrance, which on my skin is already gone after 3 hours. In conclusion, a fragrance according to my opinion suitable for a very young audience, max 25-28 and below. Freshly applied, it has a pleasant point of irreverence, being sparkling and invigorating, but quickly passes to a phase that, to my taste, is quite flat and boring of herb conjunction. Nevertheless, I like the wood note a lot. It’s very fine and accommodating. The worst: a very present chemical aftertaste that tickles the throat, weak longevity, and very soft trail.

I gave this perfume some time; I’ve had it for a few months and used it only four times. It’s still hot weather, so it feels heavy for daytime use, not so much for evening wear. Upon application, it’s very enveloping, creating a cloud with a mint and apple aroma, but they feel less cold and more sweet and dense. After half an hour, I feel the scent more impregnated on my skin; smelling it gives a certain warmth sensation, yes, it feels warm and powdery. After two hours, I can’t perceive its trail as much anymore, but it feels soft and intact on the skin. I think I’ll use it better on autumn and winter days; I’m a college student and see that this perfume is dynamic, doesn’t bore, and feels discreet. Unfortunately, like many perfumes, it lasts on my skin a maximum of 5 hours. I wish to find a perfume that lasts longer but isn’t too old or classic.

The other day I tested it on my skin, and honestly, it’s very rich, well-fruited for daily wear, not heavy, which surprised me a bit. I was feeling several perfumes and this one was different, not at an impressive level but it delivered. The green apple is noticeable but well, subtle. It brought me several sensations and memories. I’ll try it again to see if it produces the same sensations as the other time. Many thanks, greetings.

I received it as a gift. At first, I didn’t give it much of a chance because the scent seemed a bit strange (unusual, but nothing extravagant), but the first few times I wore it felt like a ‘love-hate’ relationship because I couldn’t quite decipher its scent while it was simultaneously convincing me. Over time, it won me over more, and today it’s one of my favorites. It’s discreet but unmatched. I use it for daily work, semi-formal events, casual dinners, or common meetings. It works best in summer, autumn, and winter.

  • It has a noticeable green apple note, ideal for daily wear. It has nothing special or different from what I’ve already tried. The trail and longevity are very scarce. I give it a 6/10.

  • I have a love-hate relationship with this perfume… upon first try, I fell in love at first sight and found it ‘different’. But after the initial impact, other times I felt a quite annoying musky and metallic scent. Only after 15 minutes, once it settles, do I enjoy its fruity and herbal side, which is the best part. It doesn’t leave me with a sense of balance, but something chaotic, as if the ingredients don’t mix well and confuse. Still, it’s not bad; if you want a perfume for everyday use after a shower, it’s fine. Just, it abandons you after a short while. The longevity is unfortunately very scarce. I give it 7/10 being generous 😉

  • When I was gifted this, I was initially resistant, but over time I came around. People have never said anything about it, neither good nor bad. I prefer wearing it at formal events or when I’m just with men, because it gives me a more mature and aggressive vibe compared to my other fragrances.

  • Greetings, just bought it and it smells amazing: fresh, fruity, and delicious. What I notice the most is the basil, which reminds me a lot of YSL L’HOMME LIBRE. Note that the notes listed on Fragantica don’t match what’s on the box or the Hugo Boss website; the box says frozen mint on top, basil and orange blossom in the middle, and cashmere on the bottom. It doesn’t last very long, like most Boss fragrances, but if you reapply, no problem. I’d say it’s for people aged 20 to 35, not very mature. Greetings.

Fruity fragrance, apple-mint. I felt it was quite synthetic, with performance well below what I’d expect for its price. I bought it quite a few days ago when I wasn’t collecting fragrances yet. A few days later I found it at the bottom of my closet and decided to give it another chance. I wore it twice and well… I remembered why I had already forgotten I owned it. There are better options from that designer… Regards.

  • This perfume is an enigma for me; I don’t know how noticeable it is. Unlike Jugo Red, I know this one and the aroma is very sober.

  • Strong opening, good projection of notes, especially the mint and cashmere wood that make it good for evening outings or even daily work wear. Lasts quite a bit, about 6 hours, but if you can get a batch from before 2018 (when it was reformulated in my country), it will last much longer.

My nose says it’s generic, maybe not too much, but generic for me. In my life, I’ve only tried/had about four or five from the brand, and unless I have a certain prejudice against it (which I don’t think I do), it seems to me that they all smell more or less similar, as if there’s a ‘Hugo Boss accord’ in all of them. Don’t misinterpret: it doesn’t smell bad, but there’s a certain moment where for my olfactory senses, Hugo Boss fragrances simply smell like Hugo Boss, and that’s it. This particular one interested me due to the reviews read. I think they’re not wrong in saying it’s a highly versatile fragrance, with a good green charge and to a lesser extent fruity with spicy reminiscences. Personally, I think it’s more of a home fragrance, meaning something I wouldn’t wear for work, family outings, friends, parties, etc., but only that, to be scented at home and in its immediate surroundings. It’s also true that on skin (mine) it lasts and projects little, but I consider that for its moderately affordable price there won’t be problems with reapplication. And if I had to give it a rating from 0 to 100, I’d assign it a 70.

  • Fragancefran

I agree it’s generic. It’s a pretty simple perfume. It smells good, but I see it for casual occasions and for guys aged 18 to 25. Gym-fresh, pleasant aroma. Nothing else to highlight in my opinion.

  • Javier Andres

Smells great, very masculine, denotes power and good taste. BUT it lasts 2 to a maximum of 4 hours depending on the weather. If it lasted longer, it would be excellent (they say it’s a dupe… maybe). But if you’re looking for compliments, apply it before entering a place and it’s a guaranteed hit.

  • It’s a men’s fragrance. At first, I didn’t smell mint, just sweet apple, then cilantro with mint made me think it would be gross, but it’s actually a rich combination. In the end, it smells like cashmere with that sweet green apple touch. For me, it’s versatile; the only thing I didn’t like is that it doesn’t have much sillage.

  • Don’t buy it. It lasts less than a breath. They should take it off the shelves because its longevity is so bad. At best, it lasts 2 hours. Axe performs better than this perfume.

  • GonzzRomance

Nice opening, rich aroma where apple and mint barely stand out. After 15 minutes, cilantro kicks in, followed by mint and a floral note, but it doesn’t last long. Maximum 4 hours on skin and a trail of half an hour to two hours at arm’s length (you need at least 9 sprays). Maybe it just doesn’t perform on my skin, but it’s the first one I bought and I have a soft spot for it. My opinion is subjective; it might last longer for others.

  • fragranceshot

What a pleasant smell. It’s green and fresh. It’s a pity it lasts so little because it’s delicious.

  • Smells amazing on clothes with full-on apple and mint, but on my skin it smells dirty. It’s weird because other fragrances don’t bother me, but this one doesn’t suit me. It lasts super well on paper for days, so always test before buying, even if it’s cheap.

  • zmjuanpablo

First Hugo Boss fragrance, and coincidentally, I just read that the founder was a Nazi sympathizer. Interesting. This fragrance fills the shelves like another citrus-aromatic for spring/summer, and regarding that, I can only say it’s decent. I have no major complaints or compliments; it’s fresh and I feel more green apple. It doesn’t last long and has little personality. Correct price. Another ‘Meh.’ to the list.

  • Fraganceando_madrid

Based on mint, apple, and basil. It’s a follower of ‘Hugo’, especially in the dry down, but it introduces an interesting, well-perceptible freesia note, which along with the mint, basil, patchouli, and the typical Boss apple, rounds out the composition. Signature fragrance at a good price, moderate performance. Ideal for workdays or informal outings, requires reapplication every 4-5 hours, but it doesn’t hurt given the price of the 200ml bottle. Well done, Hugo Boss.

  • Casual, perfect for everyday in any occasion. It’s not bold, soft and calm, but it doesn’t leave you indifferent. The opening is a bit penetrating, a sweet and sour apple that can be dizzying; in my case, it gives me a headache if I smell it up close. After a few minutes, it transforms into an elegant, serious, and mature scent, keeping that sweet apple but softer and deeper, with a caramelized touch, all very discreet. It’s my fourth bottle and I’ll keep using it. This Hugo Boss has gotten compliments from female couples, I suppose that’s a plus. Its problem is that it disappears after 3-4 hours. It has a potent opening that deceives, but I like that it’s volatile to use casually without drawing attention. I totally recommend it.

  • Mikheil Salvatoris

Another delicious fragrance… Rich aroma. I recommend it. It also lasts just enough.

  • JohnAcosta25

Very pleasant, fresh with apple and mint. I loved the cilantro note, very subtle but recognizable, giving it an earthy and masculine touch alongside the incense. Another plus: nothing synthetic or plastic. Excellent price; the only little issue is the 3-4 hour longevity where you need to reapply. I used it for the gym and in the car for years. I doubt I’ll buy it again unless it’s on a ‘clearance’ deal.

  • Very rich and pleasant. You get green apple with sweetened mint and soft basil in the dry down. The downside is it doesn’t last long on the skin; without exaggerating, you can smell it for about 2 hours and then it becomes very faint. I use it for going to university in the heat or casual outings where I don’t want to bother anyone. It’s not annoying at all, so if you want something pleasant and discreet, I recommend it, though buy it on sale because it doesn’t justify the original price.

  • Polperfumeman

Bottle of autumn: citrus and fruity. I got this as a gift and use it constantly. I think we’re missing out by not considering it one of the most versatile scents. Smells like apple, citrus, wood, and spices. Gets compliments, lasts 3 hours in temperate/cold weather, and up to 3 more hours on the skin. Not for formal events, but perfect for cocktails, casual outings, or everyday wear.

  • I just finished my bottle and I’m not sure if I’ll buy it again; it never gave me a compliment, and on my skin it just doesn’t

  • To my taste, it’s citrusy, but it doesn’t last as long as a shooting star, even with a ‘beast mode’ application. I use it daily at work as a missed opportunity and to avoid leaving a trail. It’s nothing elaborate or sophisticated. Definitely a bad fragrance.

  • mateoortiz33

Youthful and delicious perfume, one of the most versatile in my collection. With just a few sprays, it attracts compliments. As for the price-to-quality ratio, I’m not sure I’d recommend it, although many people love its mentholated scent.

  • Gabinho70

Honestly, I feel it’s a very elegant perfume, it has a good trail, and it’s excellent for an elegant occasion at any time of day.

  • venanciomike

A fulfilling and fresh fragrance that doesn’t stand out for many, but I love it; it seems delicious to me. I wish its potency and longevity were more moderate; I don’t give it 10/10 in those aspects, but with 6 hours of wear time and a slightly stronger trail, it would be perfect. It’s a pity it fades after 3 hours and is one of the few where, after some time, you can’t even smell it by bringing your nose close to the skin. It vanishes, puff. An aroma that loves me but is as fleeting as few. I take it with the best attitude: a little of the good things.

  • marcosluparia

Hugo Just Different by Hugo Boss. I grabbed it for the price without knowing it, and I was surprised. It has a nice trail, smells like mint with a spicy touch and a hint of a candy store. So far, it’s my favorite from the brand. Rating: 9/10.

  • medranofabs

I like it, although the spicy note creates a bit of conflict for me. The longevity is good.

  • Seems youthful. What stands out most is that fresh, fruity, green touch; it says apple, but on my nose it smells like grapes or blackberries. I don’t see it as formal; quite the opposite, it goes perfectly with a hoodie. I feel like a rapper playing basketball every time I wear it. Black clothes are a must. Lasts a maximum of 4 hours, but it’s worth it.

  • cureforpain

Top fragrance. I tried it over a decade ago and picked it up on sale just two years back without hesitation. It’s one of my favorites and the most praised. Fresh, with citrus notes that give way to a mentholated finish. Lasts a decent amount on my skin for an EDT. Very versatile, ideal for heat but also works in winter, day or night (though more for daytime).

  • metroidsoldier

Very energetic with that green twist that reminds me of mixed apple and mint with cashmere and ladanum. I wouldn’t wear it again, but it’s perfect for spring, summer, and fall.
